|49|: I Came Here For Some Business

"No way. I can't do that!" Avery shook her head.

"That's right, I forgot they're mortals." Memphis looked at Chase.

"Hey, just because we don't carry the crime on our shoulders doesn't mean we should start." Georgia defended.

"Why don't you think of something else? Something that doesn't involve me getting kidnapped and potentially thrown over a building."

"Relax, if that happens, Chase will catch you." Memphis assured as she patted Chase who looked at Avery.

"I have no other choice, not to."

"Wow, Chase." Avery shook her head.

"Hey!" The girls looked towards where the voice was coming from.

"You just played a foul."

"Where's your proof?"

"Cut it out, guys." Someone with dusty blonde hair interjected.

"Or what, pretty boy?" She heard another voice enter, she caught a few men moving out of the scene possibly not wanting to get into this heated conversation.

"Or else, you'll get beaten up." A new voice entered as all heads moved to the sound of the voice. The girls got a better view of this person as they had their hood up, wearing all black, potentially being a vigilante.

"And who are you?" Someone snapped.

"Your worst nightmare." Someone spat as they came from the hidden corner.

"We're not scared of you."

"You sure about that?" Someone else came from behind as the three boys looked really powerful.

"Is their going to be some bloodshed happening here?" Avery whispered as Chase shrugged.

"Hey, back off, why don't you." The person that fouled pushed one of the three boys as everyone was quiet.

"You just made a mistake." Everything happened instantaneously.

The person that pushed one of the boys was now slammed onto the pool table as the other two boys were fighting the other people who were getting in their way.

Avery and Georgia were now shielding themselves.

"Seriously? This happens all the time!" Memphis slapped her thighs as Chase pulled her mask up.

Avery and Georgia were watching everything that was happening in horror. The three boys were strong and were taking out most of the people who came in their way.

Someone was thrown in the direction of Avery and Georgia as the girls gasped only to have the person thrown at them hadn't reached them. Chase's hand was open as a gust of wind travelled making the person land on the sofa instead.

"Told you she'd save you." Memphis shrugged looking at Avery who shook her head.

"Ah!" Someone yelled as they bashed into Chase, pushing her to the ground.

Avery and Georgia were both hiding underneath a table as they heard Memphis speak.

"Uh, oh. This isn't going to be good." Chase grabbed a pool stick, from the ground as she stood up and turned around to face the person who lunged at her.

"You probably shouldn't have done that."

With that Chase, whacked the stick on the person as he shook his head. He threw a hit at Chase as she caught his hand and flipped him over.

Another person lunged at Chase with a yell as she instantly ducked and got up to only see a snooker ball thrown in her direction as they missed from hitting Chase, however one snooker ball was thrown which Chase caught in her right hand.

"Number eight." She crushed the ball as its residue fell from her hands, to see the person grab a snooker stick and using some martial arts on her, which she had to top off.

The pool stick slammed into her hand as Chase shook her hand before ducking as the person hit into the wall before returning back to face Chase as she looked at the man who was bald and had a strong build. He looked intimidating but Chase had completely ignored it.

She kicked him in the abdomen making him stumble back giving her time to jump on top of the snooker table as the man reached for a silver pointed stick as he tried to attack Chase but she had dodged most of the hits as the man jumped on top of the snooker table as well.

"Chase!" Chase turned as Georgia threw a snooker stick in her direction, catching it with one hand as the two battled it out on the table. Chase whacked the stick on the man as it broke, she looked at it in a disbelieving manner; her eyes turned back to the man as she knew she had to make do with her fists.

She had kicked the unknown man and jumped off of the table, as the man did too. He had the weapon still in his hand, aiming for Chase's face, Chase caught the silver sharp weapon with her bare hand as the blood starting oozing out, the immense amount of strength she had could've broken the weapon instantly.

Avery gasped as she saw a chair being thrown and hit Memphis.

"Oh no you didn't." Memphis was raging at this moment as she was knocking some people out.

Chase kicked the man in the knee as she threw the metal sword from the man's hand and punched him hard, he buckled slightly but regained his composure before swinging at Chase who pushed him down and punched him hard.

The man had the upper hand as he pushed Chase and punched her hard, she stumbled back slightly as he punched her again.

Chase grabbed a chair and smashed it on to man as she grabbed the legs and whacked him with it, as she kicked him into the wall knocking him out.

Another person flew themselves at Chase as they pushed her hard down onto someone. The table was flipped by someone flying on top of the two also.

"Chase!" Memphis shouted.

Memphis punched the guy who did it as the rest of the people fighting calmed down, to see the place was destroyed. Memphis moved towards the table that was on top of her friend as she pulled it up with Avery and Georgia and a few others, including the two other guys who were with their other friend.

They heaved the table up as they saw two figures on the ground with table cuttings on top of their black outfits as Avery and Georgia called.

"Chase." Chase slowly moved.

"Evan." The other two boys called as he slowly moved.

The two had shown their faces, as their masks were now lowered, their faces had cuts on them, with Evan having a bruised jaw and Chase having a busted lip.

Georgia helped up Chase as one of the other boys helped up Evan.

"You two alright there?" Memphis asked concerned.

Chase's thumb grazed her lip to see blood on her finger. She caught sight of the person who did this to her as she saw him backing away slowly. She took a couple of steps, only to be stopped.

"Not here." Memphis lowly stated.

"Look what happened here. Which psycho thinks it's okay to tarnish this place, huh?" No one replied. "Answer me!" Memphis yelled as Avery slightly jumped.

"Evan." Memphis stated as a boy with beautiful, enchanting eyes looked up.

"You alright?" He nodded his head as Memphis turned to Chase. "How about you, Chase?" Chase nodded her head curtly.

"Clean this up, the lot of you!" Memphis shouted as people started moving.

"You alright there?" Evan asked as he looked at Chase, she caught on to his beautiful eyes as she nodded her head.

"You?" She responded as he nodded his head.

"A little scratches don't hurt people, do they?" He smirked as Chase's corners perked up, she shook her head.

"I'm Evan." He extended his hand out as you could see the blisters and the bloodied knuckles against his pale skin.

"Chase." Chase shook his hand with her less bloodied hand; her hands had cuts and also bloodied knuckles.

The two hands fit nicely with a spark that triggered through their hands as Evan and Chase both felt it. They glanced at each other before releasing.

"Are you a regular?" Chase asked.

"No, I came because of Danny." Danny was talking to Memphis as they were too busy engrossed in their conversation.

"What about you?" Evan asked Chase as she shrugged.

"Not really. I came here for some business."

"Must've been important if you brought mortals." Evan answered as he gestured towards Avery and Georgia who were glaring at the people who had been apart of the small fight.

"You could say that." Chase stated wisely.

"Yo, Evan." Someone called as Chase and Evan both stared in the direction of the voice as Chase realised it was one of the boys that accompanied Evan.

"Nice meeting you, Chase."

"Not gonna say evil?" Avery arched a brow, entering the conversation. Evan looked at Avery before turning back to face Chase.

"Nah, she seems cool." Evan smiled before walking off towards the two other boys as they all had stern faces on.

"He likes you." Avery gushed as Chase rolled her eyes.

"If he knew who she was, he'd fear for his life." Georgia nodded her head.

"What do you mean?" Avery asked.

"Chase is a VERY dangerous villain, but the time we've known her, she's understanding and cool. Legend says most superheroes and villains fear her. It wouldn't be a surprise if pretty boy over there was scared." Georgia shrugged.

"You're wrong."
