The earth beneath my feet quaked the sent of blood stings my nostrils, his coughing worsening the wound in his throat. I fought with myself to keep calm. "Felix hang in there I'm getting you out of here." Lily has his arm wrapped around her shoulder, but he limps each step 
causing him pain.

"We're blocked in" Felix says through gurgled grunts, the cave-in blocked our only exit. I stared into his hazel eyes he held my gaze. I have no choice but to bring the whole cave down. I position my arm to Felixs waist, my aura illuminates the cave. Boulder after Boulder pebble after pebble turned into dust as I clawed kicked and punched the debris out of our way as we inched up towards the light and away from the darkness of the collapsed cave.

It didn't take long for us to surface "We made it Felix! We made it! We....F-Felix? FELIX!" As Lily let go of Felix he fell to the ground limp and lifeless. Lily quickly dropped down on her knees and placed her ear on his chest to hear for a pulse, there was nothing at first bum-bump...one...two
bum-bump. "YES!" the pulse was faint but present. Lily started to bite down on her tung but remembered

She was still infected...

Lily looked down at her blood stained hands and thought,"would it be selfish to give life to someone you care deeply for just so they can suffer from an incurable disease? They will be alive and well for only a short amount of time, but they'll be together to the end right?

Dawn walks up behind me and as if he was reading my mind he puts his paw on my shoulder and licks my cheek. He whimpers empathetically as I stroked his wet bloody fur. We sat there for a moment wishing for time to stand still.....then I smelt blood? Two kinds too. "Dawn are you bleeding?" The wolf turns his head to look at the wound on his flank. Dawn looked a bit complexed by this question. "Yeah but healed good as new. Why?" I was puzzled by his answer,"I thought you said you were a star guardian? Guardians don't bleed, is there something you're not telling me?" Dawn pins his ears back and lay on his belly. "Canis Lupus came to give me my soul back so that I can fight by your side in the flesh." "Well can you give him your blood?"Lily looked down at Felix his eyes slightly open as he draws in shallow breaths of air. Dawn looks a little aggravated by Lily's request but bit down on his forearm and held the stream of blood to Felix's lips. The broken tissue melded itself back together. The bone from his ankle slowly popped back in place and a new layer of skin glazed over the hole in his throat.

All that's left is for Felix's eyes to pop open and gasp for air.
But nothing happened. I lay my ear on his chest to check for a pulse.

.........none.

"No. Th-this can't be right" "Lily I-" "Dawn push down on his chest I-I'll give him air." "Lily that's not gonna-" "HELP ME!" Lily starts pounding Felix's chest,"Please! Come back!" Dawn sighs deeply and shifts to human form.

"Lily...I'm sorry it's my fault he's-"

"Well, well, well, I'd never thought of you as the cry baby type Lily." Lily froze when she recognized voice of her little sister.

And was surprised to see what has become of the little fishy Blue. Her eye was out of its socket and her guts were falling out but she still had that evil glint in her one eye.

"I see you've completed  your job flawlessly my puppet"
Blue throws a smirk at Dawn.

"Dawn what is she talking about?" Lily's eyes widen.

Dawn lowered his head in shame and was afraid to look Lily in the eyes.

"I killed Felix." Dawn forced out the words. I never died and I didn't ascend to Canis Lupus's den. You see my body was being held in Blues castle for experimental testing. A majority of the tests were failures and I died every time. Dawn clenches his fists, Do you know how it feels to die over and over again? How it feels to come back to life only to die again?" Lily's eyes widen in shock. "I was going to save you but-" "but you fell in love with this pathetic excuse for an 'alpha'; Lily you can't save me I don't have a soul anymore I died on that beach by your very fangs. That Dawn watched over you and grew jealous when you moved on.

Dawn sniffed the air his nose crinkled as he did,"You even have his scent on you!" Dawns hackles rose up.

"Now now Dawn is that any way to talk to your former mate sure she may be a whore but that doesn't mean you gotta take it easy on her. Run along my puppet I have plans for Lily." Blue waves her hand away and Dawn retreats. She digs through her jacket for a suitable weapon.

She pulls out a broad sword and takes her stance. She wobbles a bit,"Lily don't hold back" Blue slurs her words and almost toppled over. Lily's eyes went blank "I can't do this to you when you're in this condition, it wouldn't be fair."

"What do you mean by 'fair', life is never fair!" Blue sprints towards Lily with sword in hand. She aimed for the neck and in one fell swoop.
