Chapter 1: On With The Warnings, Off With The Teacher

A blue grey ominous mist swirled in Percy's mind. Slowly the mist formed a landscape; long, vast, and completely empty. Suddenly a mysterious cloaked figure appeared in the distance. The figure began to move at a steady pace, his movements fluid but lagged like he was walking through water. When he was close enough to Percy he stopped as if a wall was blocking his way.

"Greetings Perseus." A deep male voice spoke.

"Uh, hi?" The raven haired boy replied uncertainly.

"I have appeared here in your dreams tonight to convey a warning." The man continued in a grave tone.

  "Oh....cool. Shoot."

The man sighed in exasperation but went on. "The worlds are on brink of destruction as we speak. It is your job along with many others to stop this."

  Percy blinked. "Others?"

"Indeed, many others. In fact, I have a list for you." He said casually as he took out a scroll of paper.

"Woah, woah, woah! I can't go around kidnapping people, you know? That's sort of against the law." The boy exclaimed.

"You're not going to kidnap them! Just kindly ask them to join you and then if they say no- threaten them." The cloaked man clarified.

Percy rolled his eyes. "Oh yeah, that's so much better."

"Well, you better get to it otherwise we're all dead." The man said in the same he would saying "yay cupcakes!"

"But wait!-" The man waved his hand and suddenly the mist rose once more.

Percy awoke with a confused expression on his face. He rose slowly from his bed to see the very same scroll the mysterious man had on his bedside table. Cautiously he reached for the ravelled up piece of paper and began to unfold it. Inside was a list of various unfamiliar names and a small crystal taped to the page.  It was long and sharp like broken piece of glass with a light lavender sheen in it. Percy stared at the gem for a good five seconds, then jumped out of his bed and then raced to find his girlfriend, Annabeth.

Annabeth was sitting at a table outside, reading a book quietly when Percy dashed over and suddenly appeared beside her.

"Okay Annabeth, so I had this really weird dream where this super creepy guy came and was as like 'okay so you gotta go find these dudes otherwise we're all gonna die!'" He explained rapidly.

Annabeth stared at him. "Yeah, talk to me when you've finally woken up Seaweed-Brain." She replied as if she heard this a million times.

Smoke wafted from the nose of the tea kettle. The satisfying squeal sounding as an old man gently picked up the item and tipped it slowly. The warm liquid pouring neatly into his cup.  The old man raised the drink to his ancient lips, his wise eyes closed with content. He swallowed the tea and wiped his white moustache, moving to set down the cup for a moment. He yelled as a shadow seemed to dance over him, the fog that rose from the hot tea forming a startling familiar shape. The cup fell from his fingers and crashed to the ground. The liquid spilling onto the floor.

"Master Wu?" A curious voice asked.

The man shakily looked up to meet a brilliant emerald gaze. The careful eyes filled with concern.

"Lloyd," Master Wu tried to hide the tremble in his tone as he picked up the cup and set it back on the counter. "I'm sorry scare you. I must've been...startled."

"Startled?" The Sensei wasn't fooling him. The destined green ninja narrowed his eyes. Master Wu didn't get 'startled' easily. "By what?"

"Perhaps a mouse or something." Master Wu said dismissively. But Lloyd didn't miss the wild look in his eyes.

"Master, we're over a thousand feet in the air." Lloyd pointed out, guiding his teacher up the stairs to show him the endless sky. "Not many mice can find their way onto a flying ship."

Master Wu turned away from the edge. "Don't worry about it."

Lloyd frowned and watched the man leave back below. Kai passed by the Sensei. Noticing the air was tense and glanced back before turning to Lloyd.

"What's going on?" He asked him.

"I...don't know." Lloyd didn't look his way, keeping his gaze on his mentor.

  "NOOOOO!"

"What is it?" Nya rushed in frantically. The ravenette searched the room for trouble. Was it a returning enemy? An unconquered foe? Did Kai finally go through with his oath to rip Jay's arms off?

"Cole just beat my high score!" Jay threw his arms in the air. "Why world? Why?"

Nya scowled, trying to calm her racing heart. She loved Jay- really! The excitable lightning ninja was her heart and joy. Her boyfriend, friend, and family, was one of the only people that could get her to loosen up about things. But sometimes he was a little dramatic. She turned and left, muttering indecipherable words. Cole whooped and clapped his hands, unfortunately he didn't realize the movement caused his earth powers to act up and he nearly impaled the flying ship with a mountain.

"Cole," The ever patient robotic voice of Zane entered through the intercom. "I advise you to calm down before you accidentally fatally destroy The Bounty with us inside."

"YOU ALMOST KILLED US DUDE!" Kai screeched.

Cole slowly brought his hands down sheepishly. "Sorry Zane!"

"Zane?!! He had to swerve and I almost fell off the deck!"

Lloyd wandered into the room as Jay set up another round, swearing to Cole that he was not about to win again. Cole covered Jay's mouth with a gloved hand when he saw the anxious look on his friends face, failing to silence the ninja as he started squeaking indignantly.

"What's up?" Cole asked, the words ceasing Jay's whining.

"Have you seen Wu? He seems...off today." Lloyd revealed.

"Off?" Jay shot up. "What do you mean off?"

Suddenly the curly haired brunette appeared before Lloyd, grabbing him by the front of his green gi. "As in, possessed-off? Garmadon-off? Naddakan-off?" He yelled shaking his friend violently.

"No- he's fine...I think." Lloyd protested, struggling to remove Jay's strangely iron grip on his clothes. "Also, who's Naddakan?"

"Unimportant!" Jay let him go, causing Lloyd, who had been thrown off balance to fall over. "Off is never good! We have to find him and make sure he's okay!"

Jay jumped over Lloyd- who was still on the floor- and ran to find their Sensei. Cole sighed and dropped his controller, moving to help the unspoken leader up to his feet.

"What just happened?" Lloyd rubbed his side.

  Cole shrugged. "Beats me."

authors note

Hey fellow readers! I hope you liked the chapter! This previous one featured Percy Jackson, Lego Ninjago, and a mysterious character that will be revealed soon! The first chapter in my good friend Dee_Dee_Mclee  's version of this story is different. Going into Sophie Foster's perspective from Keeper of the Lost Cities. It has a different cover but the same name! Also, this is sort of like a sequel to Dee's original fandom story called, you guessed it, The FANDOMS's. So if there is a small recap from that story and you don't get it that is why. You should check it out, it's great!
