She couldn't stop staring at Izrak. She knew she loved him but she just couldn't think of a way out of all this mess. Neither could she ever see a happy ending between them both. She saw everyone's reactions and knew they hated the idea of them both being together.

She sighed at Izrak. "Izrak..I'm so sorry.."

He frowned. "Sorry for what exactly?."

She shrugged in reply. "Everything..The war and attempting to kill you and everything I said.."

He smiled back at her. "It's Okay honey...I know you didn't mean it..."

Lizzie stutters. "I know..but I..I..Don't deserve your forgiveness."

He chuckled nervously looking around at his fellow angels and demons who were witnessing this exchange. "Lizzie we have to start somewhere otherwise what is the point of all this..We've sacrificed so much to be together."

He attempted to kiss her but Lizzie pushed him away. "Look around you Izrak..They don't want us to be together.."

He brushed her hair out of her eyes. "Lizzie I don't care about them..I care about you.."

She grinned. "Well in that case I don't care about them either..Just don't blame me if they end up going after your head mob-handed and all.."

He winks at her. "Well, If that does happen I have a plan.."

She folded her arms. "You don't really have a plan do you?.."

He shook his head. "No..I actually don't.."

She rolled her eyes at him. "So why say you did?."

He chuckled nervously. "I was just trying to make you feel better..Truth is..I don't have a plan at all..except maybe if that does happen then we just run..."

She raises her eyebrows at him. "That's gotta be the worst plan I've ever heard in the history of plans..Please tell me you've got a destination in mind?."

He bites his lip. "Not really..I never really thought about it that far.. I just don't wanna lose you..."

She kisses him. "Me neither..Which is why we have to be careful about how we handle this."

He groans. "God, I hate it when you're right."

She laughs. "It's only because I'm the most superior being compared to the two of us..Plus I'm a woman which makes me always right."

He pushes her playfully. "Take that back.."

She pushes him back.. "Never!..."

He grins. "Don't make me do it.."

Lizzie groans. "Oh no!..You're not gonna.."

As he moves towards her quickly at a running pace he attempts to tickle her.

She hits his hands screaming with delight. "Stop it!..Stop tickling me or I swear I will break your wrist."

He laughs. "Oh yeah..I'd like to see you try."

She grabs his wrist and flips him over her shoulder and then puts her foot on his chest. "Honey, You should know better than to test me.."

He looks at her seriously pissed face and raises his hands in surrender. "Hey!! You know I was only kidding don't you.."

Lizzie looks at him frowning then laughs which of course surprised Izrak. "Of course I do you fool!."

She helps him up and he pushes her playfully again."Never ever do that again.."

Suddenly a thunderstorm broke out and Lizzie's sister came running toward her through the crowds. "You guys have gotta see this.."

Lizzie frowned. "Sis..You're actually scaring me!..What is going on.."

Her sister shakes her head with disbelief. "You are not gonna believe this but they've actually shown up.."

Lizzie frowned at her sister. "You're not making much sense who?....."

Her sister interrupted her. "Who do you think?.."

Lizzie stared at Izrak and her sister open mouthed. "Oh..."

Lizzie's sister rolls her eyes at her. "And the penny drops..You'd better get to the front of the crowd immediately and talk to them."

Her sister turns to go but Lizzie grabs her. "Wait..Why me?."

Her sister shrugged sarcastically. "Hmm.. let me think..Who started this whole thing in the first place?."

Lizzie replied. "Me.."

Her sister nodded. "Correct..And who started the war in the first place?."

Lizzie hung her head. "Me again.."

Her sister was on a roll now. "AND WHO FELL IN LOVE WITH A DEMON?.."

Lizzie stutters. "Me..But you don't think they know do you?.."

Her sister shrugged. "I certainly wouldn't put it past them.."

Her sister left to join the other angels and Izrak squeezed a worried Lizzie's hand. "It'll be okay.."

Lizzie pulled her hand away from him. "You don't know that not anymore because now our situation..Has got a whole lot worse....There's bigger things at stake than me and you right now and I have to prioritise them.."

Izrak looked at her opened mouthed. "But..Its me and you against the world remember?."

Lizzie shook her head. "That was just a little dream of ours and now it's back to reality..I'm sorry Izrak but it has to be this way. "

As Izrak watched her walk through the crowds of angels and demons..He fell to his knees with a broken heart.

Lizzie walked through the crowds to be greeted by two people in the sky and those two people were not exactly people but gods.

Gods of both of their species and these gods were not getting on. Lizzie knew that if she didn't do something soon..There may be another war on their hands and this time no humans would be spared and the earth destroyed.
