Melanie's POV
I quickly ran through the woods, ready for the Demon Warlock to jump out at any second. Aphmau's plan included Ales, Laurence, Aaron, herself and I splitting up while Sam and Katelyn stayed behind with the children. Sam was less then pleased to leave Ales, but she insisted.
You know, we could ditch them and find Garroth.
Ugh. You again.
I know how to find him.
How?
Go East, then go North. There will be a portal. Open it, and walk through.
Is it Irene's portal?
No... But it's a portal that will take you to a place where you can find him.
I ran East, then I ran North. As my dark side told me, a baby blue portal was built right in front of me.
Open it.
Will this make me dark?
It's either Garroth, or not going dark. Besides, this won't make you too dark. It'll just make me more powerful.
I flung my hands at the portal, and a small white light opened up inside. I walked in.
I looked around, but before I could start to find Garroth, a sort of weakness passed through me. My head felt woozy and my vision was going foggy.
What's happening to me?
You'll find Garroth soon... But it took some of your power. You'll pass out soon, don't worry.
WHAT?!
The last thing I heard and saw were two female figures walking towards me. One with [H/C] hair and [F/C] clothes, and the other with black hair and black armor.
"[Y/N]... Who's that?" Asked one.
"I don't know." Said the other.
And everything went black.

Ales's POV
I ran through the forest, my brown hair flying past the wind. The cold didn't bother me, so that gave me a small advantage. I slowed down, tiredness beginning to seep into me, when I heard a small voice.
"S-So cold..." It was Aphmau. I ran towards her voice, since she sounded inches from death.
"Aphmau! Are you ok?" I asked. Aphmau looked up at me, her caramel eyes becoming grey from the cold.
"Y-Yes." She said. I walked up to her, a potion of warmth in my hands. I was a skilled potion master, and always kept important potions with me.
"Here. Drink this." I said. Aphmau took the red liquid from my hand and drank it down to the last drop. She sighed, and I could see the color come back into her tanned skin. I smiled.
"Feel better?" I asked. She nodded.
"Thank you, Ales." Aphmau said. I nodded.
"Anytime." I said.
Suddenly, a growling sound came from her dog, Thorgina. I quickly walked over to ther, and noticed she was glaring at a bush. I frowned, then took out my bow and placed an arrow.
"Come out." I ordered.
A man jumped out and pounced onto me, his green eyes inches from my brown ones. I could feel his warm breath on my forehead as he started to speak.
"YOU! I KNOW IT'S YOU, NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU CHANGE YOUR APPEARENCE! ALTHOUGH I'LL ADMIT THIS IS THE SEXIEST DISGUISE YOU'VE WORN!" He yelled.
"HEY, YOU BETTER LET GO OF HER OR I'LL--"
"YOU WHAT?! I WON'T LET YOU DO ANYTHING TO SAVE YOUR DEMON WARLOCK, YOU IMP! YOU MUST BE WEARING A DISGUISE TOO!" Yelled the man at Aphmau's direction.
He thinks I'm the Demon Warlock.
I noticed a bloddy cut on his chest. I thought back to my potions.
"H-Hey... I see you're hurt. Let me help you." I said, reaching back and pulling out my pink healing potion. I splashed it onto his chest before he could oblige.
The blood was no longer seeping from his chest. He climbed off me, his eyes widened.
"H-How did you--?!"
"I know my way around potions." I explained, tossing another potion of warmth at Aphmau, who drank it down quickly.
"Th-Thank you. I'm sorry I thought you were the Demon Warlock." Said the man.
"It's fine, and my name is Ales... But, do you have any idea where he is?"
The man explained the Demon Warlock's situation, along with Asmund's foolery. He explained how the Demon Warlock must've made our ship crash because of my powerful magicks, and Aphmau's healing magicks.
"Well, how do we leave?" I asked. The man blushed, his hair seemingly becoming more white.
"Its quite embarrassing..." He said.
"It can't be that embarrassing. We'll do anything to get back home." I said. The man sighed.
"Y-You have to kiss me." He said.
My eyes widened.
"Wh-What?!" I cried. "How is that a solution?!"
"M-My lips have been touched with the magicks of a siren. It gives you the knowledge to navigate the sea." He said, sighing in agony.
"Well if its true, how many people have you kissed!?" Aphmau asked.
"None. Once someone kisses me, I lose that ability. However, you just healed me from a wound I've been suffering from two weeks now. I feel as if I owe you this favor." Said the man, turning back to me.
I bit my lip.
I'll do anything to leave this island. Aphmau needs to find her village, Melanie needs to find her brother, and Sam and I need to find a place to stay.
"J-Just one kiss?" I asked hesitantly. He blushed, looking at the ground.
"Not exactly... Um... We have to passionately make out. It takes a while for the magicks to lock onto you... At least that's what the siren told me. It's possible we have to do more." Said the man.
My eyes widened, and I could feel myself start to say no and slap him in the face, when another thought creeped into my mind.
The children.
I swallowed, and looked at Aphmau, who had wide eyes.
"I'm just going to kiss you. Nothing more." I said, glancing at Aphmau.
"Fine with me." He said. He started to blush, and I could feel heat come onto my face.
"Come here." He said. I took a quick step back.
"W-Wait. Before we... What's your name?" I asked. The man looked into my eyes.
"My name is Travis. Nice to meet you." He said.
As Travis neared me, a familiar figure ran between us and placed their obsidian sword at Travis' throat.
"SAVE IT RIGHT THERE LOVER BOY!" She yelled.
"Sam?" I asked, thinking she was with Katelyn.
"I heard the entire thing. You really think that's gonna slide by me? Why were you trying to make a move on Ales here?" Sam asked.
"Ah, so you care for this girl, huh? Overprotective much?" Travis asked.
"TELL ME NOW OR I'LL--"
"Look. I wasn't lying or giving her false information or anything. I'm not a jerk. But... I did lie about the making out thing. It's been years since I saw a beautiful woman around my age. The rest of the village is too young or old for me to romantically pursue." Travis explained.
"STAY AWAY FROM MY SISTER!" Sam yelled, her sword closing in more onto Travis's chin. I frowned. She may have had to protect me, but I could take care of myself.
"SAM!" I yelled. She flinched.
"Oops... Sorry." She said.
"You're her sister, huh? Well we can skip the making out part. In all seriousness, you three are in big trouble. Come with me to my hideout and we'll talk more there." Travis said, trying to get up. Sam kicked him back down.
"HOW CAN I TRUST YOU?!" She asked.
"It's either me, or the Demon Warlock." Said Travis.
"Sam, let him go. We don't exactly have a choice." Aphmau said.
"... Fine. But I'll be watching you, Travis." Sam said, letting him go.
A/N I SHIP IT!!! I SHIP TRALES!!! IM WEIRD AND I DON'T CARE!!!
Hey, it's either Trales or Travmau. Thought so.
Anyways, as soon as I saw Travis, my initial reaction was...
"SERIOUSLY APHMAU?!?! HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE YOU GOING TO INTRODUCE THAT WILL BE A POTENTIAL THREAT TO GARMAU?!?!"
Anyone else thought the same?
