Melanie's POV

I walked up the stairs to the guard tree, and fell onto my bed.

Why must Dante's love life be so complicated?

One things for sure, it beats yours.

Great. I forgot all about you. So, how powerful are you now exactly?

One more snap and I'll have a true form.

What do you mean, 'true fo--

"Melanie?" I sat up and faced Sam, who sat at the edge of my bed.

"Oh, hey Sam." I said.

"I need to talk to you." Sam said. I nodded, making myself more comfortable.

"You know about... Zane and I, right?" He asked. I nodded again.

"W-Well, when I ran away, I never got to say goodbye. Granted, he was evil and did many bad things, but I still love him." Sam said. I sighed.

"Sam, he's stuck in Lady Irene's dimension now, and-- wait... How did you know about Zane? It's been fifteen years!" I exclaimed. She bit her lip.

"Ales and I were thrown in there too." Sam whispered.

A/N Ok, I know it won't make any sense, but it's just to clear things up. The point of all this is that Sam and Ales were in Lady Irene's dimension around the same time they were, and were able to escape around the same time, too.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well, after Ales and I escaped, we spent months trying to run away from O'Khasis. We ended up stumbling upon Brightport, and stayed there for a period of time. That is until it got surrounded by O'Khasis guards. Ales and I were caught, and sent back to Zane." Sam said.

"While Zane did something involving an Irene relic, Ales and I were locked in a hut. We managed to escape and ran through the forest. I saw Zane doing... Something with a white portal, and everything went white. I'm guessing we just walked in at the wrong time." Sam said.

"We were in Lady Irene's dimension, and how we managed to escape is a tricky story. It involved lots of running and while this girl with almost white hair was distracted, we were able to enter a portal from behind her. No one saw us." Sam said.

"So, your my age?" I asked. Sam nodded.

"Yes, I'm guessing you were one of the people in that dimension that Zane trapped." Sam guessed. I nodded.

"Yes, Garroth is my brother." I said.

"Wait a sec-- YOURE ZANE'S SISTER?!?!" Sam cried, standing up immediately, stepping away from me.

"Now hold on a second, calm down Sam. I swear I don't want to turn you in." I promised. Sam nodded.

"Ok, please don't." She said. I smiled, pulling her into a hug.

"It's alright Sam." I said. Sam nodded.

"I hope you don't mind me being in love with your younger, evil brother." She said.

We broke into laughter.

"Ok, that's one weird sentence." I admitted. Sam smiled.

"Yeah it is." She said.

We then heard someone walk up the ladder.

"Melanie! Just the person I'm looking for." Aphmau said.

"Oh, hey Aphmau." I said.

"We're not staying here. I want to find my own place to take care of. Somewhere people of the Phoenix Alliance can find refuge and shelter. And I want you to come with me." Aphmau explained.

"Katelyn, Laurence, and Aaron are coming with me. You can bring your two friends along as well--"

"Melanie. Any place to hide is ok with me." Sam broke in. I nodded.

"Ok. I'll go. When are we leaving?" I asked.

"In an hour, actually." Aphmau said.

"SAM!!! Guess what? I brought you some clothes that Kawaii~Chan-- Oh, hello miss." Ales climbed up the ladder.

She seems to find herself in awkward situations.

Cut her some slack.

"Ales, we're leaving in an hour, so pack your things." Sam ordered, going to her own bed and packing some stuff away. Ales raised an eyebrow.

"Where?" She asked, obeying Sam.

"Uh, I'm going to start a village somewhere, for the Phoenix Alliance." Aphmau stepped in. Ales smiled.

"What's your name? Mines Ales." Ales said. Aphmau smiled.

"I'm called Aphmau." She said. Ales smiled.

"Alrighty then. We'll be good friends, right Sam?" Ales asked. Sam simply nodded, not turning or doing anything.

"Sorry about her." Ales whispered. Aphmau giggled.

Can we do something fun?

You mean kill someone?

You know me so well.

We're not just gonna become dark without an excuse.

So you want to do it.

Yeah you do.

"Melanie, I'll meet you in the docks in an hour, ok?" Aphmau said. I nodded.

"Ok. See you then." I responded.

I want to know if I should start up Aphmau's vacation days again! Most of you know what that is. 

Anyways, I'm want to start it up again and include my two OCs in it; Ales and Sam.

What do you think? Yay or nay?

Also, who should I ship Ales with in this story? I don't know. Lily has Aaron, Sam has Zane, and Melanie has Laurence... What about Ales?!
