Title: I WANT TO FORGET

My love for you,
Was always true.
But your's was formality
That I never knew.

But today I realise,
Your artful disguise.
This date, I'll never forget,
As it's our memory's demise.

Yesterday we had a fight,
Swear to god, I felt I was not right.
Whole night I was thinking to apologise
But what a wonderful sight!

My emotions seemed trapped,
As I saw your tongue lapsed
On another pair of lips
And my delicate heart just collapsed.

Remember you promised me
That I'm the only one you see.
As you kissed my soul
Under that oak tree.

The silver band bearing your name
Once felt heavy, but t now seems lame.
I slip it out from my finger
And toss it in the nearest drain.l

You set my heart on fire
Now it's my heart desire
To show you that
Now I can fly much higher.
