Cloudkit's POV

"Mama, why is Moonpaw sad?" Mama sighed, and looked at me sadly.

"You're too young to understand, darling." I titled my head, then shook it, trying to get the disturbing thoughts out of my head.

"Did Moonpaw love Firepaw, Mama?" Mama whipped around to face me in shock, quickly pushing me back into the nursery.

"Cloudkit, you must never repeat this to your sister, do you understand? Never." I nodded curiously, why was Mama acting so weird?

"Yes Cloudkit. Moonpaw loved Firepaw. And now, she is very, very sad. You see, when Moonpaw was your age, she played lots of games with Firepaw, who was on the verge of being a warrior. He taught her the hunting crouch, and his battle techniques, and she loved it. Soon, she grew to like him more and more, and they started acting like mates. Though she was still so young, and I didn't approve, she considered him as her mate. She wanted to have kits with him, and be as close to him as she could. This is why she is so devastated. She loved him Cloudkit. He is already in Starclan, you know? And I have a feeling that Moonpaw will not be the same as she used to be."

"Even with me?"

"Even with you."
