Nikita stared at the person in front of her, not quiet believing her eyes. A boy with had a green shirt and blue pants with short brown hair looking up at her, two sickles stepped to his legs, a sword strapped across his back.

He didn't look like he could be older then 18 or 19, and had bright, intelligent brown eyes.

He cleared throat and said "Hi." In a quiet voice.

"Um... hi." Said Nikita, still trying to figure out what the boy had been doing.

"I was exploring the forest when I heard you, but I didn't know that you were, well, an entire army." He said, looking up at Nikita.

"And how do I know that you aren't lying?" Asked Nikita, staring the 18 year old in the eyes.

"I'm not, I swear." He said.

Nikita paused for a moment and conversed with the Dragon.

Should I see if he is telling the truth? She asked her.

One can never be too careful. The Dragon answered.

"This might feel... weird." Said Nikita.

"Wait, what..." said the boy, looking scared for a second.

Whatever he was about to say was cut off as Nikita contacted his mind. She only went deep enough to see his memories of hearing them as he came through the forest and coming to investigate, not ready to find an entire army camped at the base of the mountain.

She also found out that he had the ability to create poisons and toxic gases that can kill, stun or put people to sleep.

Useful. She thought.

"Can you lead us to Whitecap?" Asked Nikita, stepping back and letting the boy get up.

"Yeah, I live there." He said.

"Then why are you out here?" Asked Nikita.

"I explore the surrounding terrain for Whitecap, seeing as I can protect myself pretty well." He said.

"What's your name?" She asked.

"People call me Toxin." He said shyly.

"And who might this be?" Asked Elijah, coming up to them.

"Toxin." Said Nikita.

Elijah eyed him before nodding.

"He can lead us to Whitecap." She said to him.

"And I trust him."

"Alright." He said, turning away from them and going to organize the soldiers.

"Why do you need to find Whitecap?" He asked, his voice slightly suspicious.

"We need allies." Said Nikita.

"Desperately."

When she got to the Ender Dragon she raised her head and turned towards Toxin.

And who is the new arrival? She asked.

Nikita watched as Toxic gazed at the Ender Dragon in awe.

"I've heard stories about you." He said, looking at the Dragon with wide eyes.

Toxin then turned to Nikita.

"Wait, so that makes you the Chosen One, the one who can tame the Dragon."

His eyes glowed, but the glint soon faded as he realized what that meant.

"He's back, isn't he." Said the 18 year old.

"Herobrine is back, and he is coming after us again."

Nikita nodded sadly.

"We fought him, but we lost. We were pushed into the Far Lands, and now we need the help of your people to hopefully put a stop to his reign." She said.

"And we need you to lead us to Whitecap."

Toxin nodded, understanding.

"I know the way to the city from the forest, I've forged a path through the undergrowth. When we get up to the highest reaches of the mountain, though, it starts to get really cold really fast." He said, looking around at the assembling army.

"The Ender Dragon and I will go up alone, see if Whitecap will help us and had room to shelter our army, and I can create a portal for them to go through to get to Whitecap without freezing to death." She told him.

"Good." He said.

Nikita then turned to the Dragon.

Can you patrol the skies again? She asked her.

Sure thing. Said the Dragon, spreading her wings and taking off, rising high above the trees.

"Lead on." She told Toxic.

Elijah told the army to follow Nikita and Toxic.

"They path shouldn't be far from here." Said Toxin, slashing at the thick bushes and vines that covered the ground with his sickles, clearing a path quickly.

"Here it is." He said a few minutes later.

The path was narrow, only one person wide, but then again, the path wasn't made for an entire army.

Toxic led them onto the path and they began their long journey to Whitecap, the trees giving them relative shade from the sun.

It seemed like many hours of Toxin trying to clear a wider path through the forest before the weary army came to a clearing where they could rest.

They did so, soldiers posted around the camp to keep watch.

Nikita rested against the Ender Dragon, eating berries that army had collected earlier.

They had hunted to, gathering enough food to feed the army for at least a little while. Nikita told them to stretch the food as far as it would go amongst themselves, as she found that she didn't get hungry as often as they did.

Another side affect of my powers I'm guessing. She thought.

"So where do you come from?" Asked Toxin, sitting down beside Nikita.

"Brimstone." She said, memories of the battle coming back, the flames, the Servants, Herobrine, the dream.

She shuttered.

"Are you alright?" Asked Toxic, his voice concerned.

"Yeah, just... shaken." Said Nikita, not wanting to say more.

Toxin seemed to sense this, as he didn't press her for information. About 30 minutes later after everyone had eaten at least a little and regained their strength they moved again, Toxic still leading the way.

"Where is Herobrine now?" He asked as they forged a wider path through the forest.

"Most likely in Brimstone." She said.

"I don't know if he's sent anyone out looking for us yet, but he probably has, which is why we need to keep moving." She said, thinking back to the dream.
Toxin nodded and continued forward.

The rest of the day was uneventful. They continued to forge through the forest until sundown when they stopped under the tall pine trees to sleep.

The air had gotten colder as the got closer to the foot of the mountains, and the army slept like they had the night before, huddled close to the Dragon for warmth.

The night passed without incident, but Nikita's dreams of white eyes resumed, and she found that she couldn't get a good night's sleep, and lay on the ground awake, the scent of crushed pine needles and the soft winnies of horses all she could hear and smell.

One day we will defeat you. Thought Nikita, gazing at the stars.

One day.
