Ashley's P.O.V

My heart hurts like I never thought it would. Seeing him look so sad and so hurt...and I did this too him. With silent, golden tears falling down my cheeks I reach out and place my glowing hand on his shaking shoulder. Through the tears I smile.

"Your Okay now, Natsu."

My voice sounds so weird. It's echoey and light. I keep my hand on his shoulder.

"You'll be alright. Nobody can hurt you now."

I whisper to him soothingly.

"I'll be right here until I see you again."

With tears still running down my face I lean forward and touch my forehead with his.

"I love you, did you know that?"

My voice cracks as I close my eyes.

"I love you so much. I will never say I loved you because that means that I will never see you again."

I force out a choked laugh.

"And I know how stubborn you are. I know you won't stop until you see me again."

I open my eyes as I smile softly.

"Well, that's what I'm hoping for anyway. It's okay if you don't."

If my heart was still beating I bet it would be pounding hard.

"I want you to live your life, darling."

I swallow the flow of emotions that threaten to choke me.

"That's....that's all I want. I just want you to be happy."

I smile one last time as I lean forward as lay my lips against his cheek. Then I pull away. As I walk to the light that has been waiting for me I turn to wait for sting and look back over my shoulder at Natsu.

"Just don't forget about me."

Sting's P.O.V

I smile down at her as tears threaten to fall from my eyes. I blink them away as I bend down and touch the top of her head. I close my eyes and force myself to smile brightly for her. It's all for her.

"I love you too. Always have, Princess. You were just to stubborn to see it."

I laugh and the sound is odd to my own ears. It's echoey and light.

"But I was also too afraid to tell you."

I bite my lip to keep my voice even. I lean down and press my lips against her cheek one last time.

"Damn, princess, your getting me all choked up."

And finally, the tears that I have been holding back for so long, finally escape and run down my face in golden streams.

"I...I love you so much."

I know it's time for me to go. I see the golden light that's beckoning to me. I also can make out the golden form of Ashley who's waiting for me. So, I turn back to my girl, and smile one last time as I head toward the light.

"Don't have too much fun without me, Princess."
