Forcing her body forward, limbs were shaking and her breathing were heavy making it even more difficult for her to inhale some air into her lungs, sweats began appeared, falling across her forehead in a cold sweat. Paranoid, she desperately beg ❛Oh no, no, no, no, no, no! What should I do?!❜

Grumbling to herself, feeling the boy's eyes on her, clearly smirking in victory as she straight her feets on the ground quickly causing dust and dirt to fly to the air. After successfully stopped herself, Sabito immediately give out orders ❝Reina, put us down now. We're going have to fight back!❞

❝Fight back? Are you crazy?! He is far too powerful for us to take him head on!❞ Reina exclaimed, trying to convince him to retreat before it's too late.

But he's being Sabito himself was stubborn ❝You think I don't notice that?❞ He might be stubborn but deep inside his heart, he just didn't want to see one of his comrades to go through the pain on their own ❝Stop forcing yourself and rely on me more!❞

❝... He completely forgot about us...❞ the girl with the ponytail whispered.

❝I guess this is one of the reasons why you can't dislike him❞ Makomo smiled, shaking her head.

❝Rely on you more? Are you saying that you're going to fight him on your own?! Sabito, I'm not some kind of a princess that you need to protect me!❞ Reina argue, frowning as she rush towards the tree, trying to find a hiding spot for them to hide.

Climbing onto the tree branch, letting the three children off her shoulders as they balance themselves onto the large tree branch from falling down. Reina paused for a moment, sniffing the air as a faint sweet pleasant smell reached her nose causing her eyes to widen in hope ❛This smell...! No doubt about it, it's the smell of the wisteria flowers!❜

Glancing around, her eyes scanning her surroundings, through the thick leaves and trees. A little purple blur caught her attention, she smile. It's might be far away from reaching them but just a single glance of the bright color was enough to put her soul at ease ❝Everyone, we're almost there-!❞

Her words were cut off as all of the sudden, her back crashed against the tree causing a huge hole in middle where her body met, feeling an intense sensation spreading throughout her small body as her pale blue eyes stared a pair of yellow eyes.

❛I was so focused on getting them out of here that I completely forgot about him for a second!❜ Sweats were dripping down on her face and before knew it, she was within the demon's tight grip, crashing her small body as her eyes look over her shoulders, trying to find someone, to alarm them to escape.

❝Breath of Water, First Form: Water Surface Slice!❞

❝Nice, Makomo!❞

❝W-What...?❞ Her eyes widen, staring at the figures stood in front as if they were guarding her from harm. Staring up at the very person who catches her, carrying her in a bride style? She doesn't really know what it is call but nevertheless, she couldn't help but  being bashful right now as she look down, avoiding making eye contact with those grey eyes shone brightly...

Carefully, he place her down onto the ground, patting her head in a gentle manner which caught her off guard by his sudden affection ❝This is why you need to rely on me more from now on❞

❝And me too! We're a family together and we protect them no matter what!❞ Makomo exclaimed, going her way between them as she pulled the little one into a hug ❝I'm so glad that you are alright...❞

Before she has the chance to reply, Makomo immediately pull herself away from the hug ❝Reina, stay here where it's safe❞

❝But-❞

❝No but!❞

❝... Okay, Mako-neechii❞

She smiles softly, removing her hands from her shoulders as she took a few steps back before turning around to stand next to her comrade, Sabito along with the other girl who was still scared to death, trembling nonstop.

❝Let's find an opening, do not let him near Reina! She's our only hope to escape here!❞ Sabito ordered, readying his sword.

❝Yes!❞ both of the girls shout at the same time.

Ignoring the young demon's calls, they immediately charge with the peachy pink haired male leading the way, creating a path as he sent multiple of slashes, cutting the hands off from grabbing them.

❛What should I do?! My body won't move no matter how much I tried to!❜ Every movement she made, the more difficult to move a muscle. Her hands and shoulders were shaking as she reached out towards them, hoping to reach them in time.
