As the day slowly started, the class of Iruka found themselves out in the open of the academy as they form a circle. Iruka was explaining the rules of what they are going to do for today.

The task was simple, two students will have a hand-to-hand combat, whoever stops, yield, or get knocked-out is considered the loser of the exercise. Of course, Y/N is not going to lose, even if he needs to bring out his all, but in any case, he should be careful. He already knew that the Hokage is watching him carefully, but he didn't care about it.

Iruka: Alright, you get the rules, now, let's get started. Please head to the center, Sakura and Ino.

He said as the two girls started to head to the center, moving to each side of the circle to get ready.

Y/N: 'Oh boy, this should be interesting.'

He thought of it sarcastically as he watched from the back of the students, knowing full well what will the result will come out of the both of them. Once they were settled in and finished preparing, Iruka gave the signal and the two girls went at it.

Their fight was rather, interesting to say the least. Having a back and forth fist fight as well as having to issue one of them being with Sasuke let out a sigh as Y/N just averted his eyes from the fight.

???: Girls, having to fight for one boy is just tiresome.

A voice said as he darted his eyes to the source of it, seeing it came from a male student and another one of his friend he assumed.

He has narrow brown eyes and a typical expression suggesting he is either bored or irritated. He has shoulder length black hair tied in a spiky ponytail.

The other one has a rotund build and markings on his cheeks in the form of swirls, and he has a spiky, brown hair.

Y/N just let out a quiet sigh as he watches the fight, he agreed to what the boy said as it was pointless to fight for a single affection of a boy. Naruto just looked at his friend in a curious manner, he thought that if he friended a boy like him or just having a slightly matured mindset in a kid's body sounds horrible enough.

Although, Naruto isn't aware by it, but the fact that his friend didn't flinched or comment about the fight just made him confused about Y/N. After seemingly a minute or two of the sparring, the outcome of the fight was a tie as Iruka went to the next pair.

Iruka: Alright, next is Shikamaru and Choji.

He said as both the black and brown spiky haired boy walked forward to the circle, each facing the other one as there was a small nervousness in the air.

Choji: Um, Iruka-sensei?

He said as Iruka heard this and turned his attention to the brown haired kid.

Iruka: What is it?

Choji: I don't really want to hurt my friends.

Choji said as Iruka explained how this method was used by the Hokage of old to get stronger. True that it was a fact, but Y/N just didn't want to partake in any of the exercises as Shikamaru starts to walk out of the circle.

Shikamaru: I don't mind losing by going out of bounds, so please move on to the next guy.

Iruka: H-Hey...

Shikamaru turned on to him as he looked at his teacher for a bit.

Shikamaru: Whether you are training or fighting, once the winner has been decided, the battle is over, so it's less of a pain to just decide straight away.

He said as Iruka just let out a sigh, chatter filled around as how he was the only one who is a pain and how Choji has no guts to fight. Even another kid said that Shikamaru has no motivation.

Y/N: 'I wouldn't say so myself, by the looks of it, he is just looking out for his friend.'

The H/C haired teen thought as he kept his gaze on the scene in front of him.

Iruka: That's enough. Shikamaru, Choji, make the Seal of Reconciliation.

Shikamaru: Oops, I forgot.

He said as he walked back to the center, in front of Choji as he just smiled and extends his middle and index finger, as Choji did the same and placed it on top of Shikamaru's finger.

Choji: I'm sorry Shikamaru.

Shikamaru: No big deal. I know you don't like this kind of situations. Besides, I can be a pain too.

They both said to each other as Iruka just smiled and nodded.

Iruka: Good. That's a perfect Seal of Reconciliation.

He said as both of the boys left the circle as Iruka looked at his clipboard once again.

Iruka: Now, can we have Naruto and Sasuke.

He said as Naruto yelled as Sasuke just shrugged hearing some comments for the both of them, mainly positive ones for Sasuke and negative ones on Naruto.

Y/N: 'Good grief, even these kids too? I couldn't blame them, but their parents mainly.'

He thought as he heard a single positive comment on one of the students, he looked around the area as he couldn't find the person. He let out a small sigh as he looked forward on the fight.

Right now, Iruka was explaining how it is sacred of a thing is this combat exercise, but in this case, only Naruto's "Yeah" is keeping him in a spiral direction. Y/N just sighed and looked up to the sky.

Y/N: 'Minato, Kushina, please, give me the patience and guidance that I need.'

He thought as the fight began, only for it to end instantly with Sasuke on top of Naruto with his fist close to his face.

Y/N: 'He did it, he completely buried what Itachi had said to him.'

He thought as Iruka ordered the both of them to do the Seal of Reconciliation. Both of them extended their fingers, only for them to tug their shirts on each other's collar.

Naruto: You wanna go loser?

Sasuke: What are you going to do about it dropout boy?

The two of them are in each other's throat as this time, Y/N had to intervene. Iruka was going to handle it, but Y/N beat him to it. He walked in between them as he looked at them both.

Y/N: Alright, that's enough, both of you.

Naruto: Why are you taking on his side Y/N?

Sasuke: You better stay out of this L/N.

Y/N: Look, I don't even give a damn on who started it. I'm not taking a side or something.

He said as he looked at Naruto, finding him in a tight spot as to whether scold him or not as he turned his gaze on Sasuke next.

Y/N: Nor having to stay out of anything. Can this class just have a normal exercise without even breaking it in to a complete disorder?

He finished off as silence has taken over the field as Sasuke let out a 'tch' and walked away as for Naruto, he just walked away, far from the other kids as he stayed on a side. He was lucky that he had a friend in Y/N, but is he a kid even in his behavior like that?

Iruka: Thank you Y/N, since you're already here, may I call on Eita Ebisu.

He said as a boy about his age with blue hair, wearing a red shirt, beige shorts, and black shoes came forward. The boy came face to face with Y/N as he smiled.

Eita: Let's have a good match.

Y/N: Likewise.

He said as the other children was interested in the scene. This is going to be the first time they will see Y/N on an exercise, they were all intrigued of what he can do, especially, the onyx eyes of the ravenette and the ocean blue ones from the blond were glued on to him.

The both of them extend their hand and performed the Seal of Confrontation. Iruka was nervous, he knew who Y/N was, dating back when he was in Anbu, hearing stories about the Crimson Demon from his peers. Plus, his father told a story about him when he was young. He composed himself as he prayed that nothing serious will happen to the other kid.

Iruka: Begin!

He yelled as the fight began, the blue haired boy threw a punch at Y/N, only to dodge on the side, he kept on dodging, examining his opponents move as Eita throws a kick, preparing to block it but he faked it, throwing a knee strike at Y/N that he barely blocked it, feeling the force of the knee as Eita backed away to cover some ground.

Kid 1: That kid isn't going to last long.

Kid 2: Eita is a master of hard hitting strikes. He'll lose for sure!

Naruto: You can do it Y/N!

Y/N heard their comments about what Eita can do, now, it was his time to show them what he can do.

As Eita started to throw a punch at him, Y/N dodge it like from earlier, throwing him off guard as Eita found an opening as he throws in a knee on the side making sure that he would hit Y/N. But this time, Y/N made sure to make a move, he raised his knee up and blocked the incoming strike, hearing some gasps from the class.

He started to throw a punch as Eita dodged it taking this chance to grab his arm and pull him on his back to slam him down. As he was about to succeed on his plan, he didn't felt a thud on the ground, instead he felt heavy.

Y/N was doing a handstand on the back of Eita as he stood up straight, making his chance to close it off. He leaned forward and use his feet forward to push himself towards Eita, planting both of his foot on his chest as he pushes Eita with force, landing on his feet at the his spot and looking at the defeated Eita.

Iruka: That's enough, Y/N, please perform the Seal of Reconciliation.

He said as Y/N jogged over to Eita, extending his hand to help him up as the blue haired boy thanked him as he accepted it, both of them performing the seal as they went back to their group.

Naruto run towards him, amazed at how his friend took care of himself as he admired him, the other kids were amazingly impressed with him as Sasuke find the H/C haired boy intriguing. Y/N let out a small sigh as he waits for this day to be done.
