As the sun slowly rises in the Village Hidden in the Leaves, the people of the village were wide awake as the rays of the sun woke them up, in an apartment building, there was a figure still hasn't getting up. Y/N was still fast asleep as he was tired from his long and hard travels all over the country.

A knock was heard from his front door as this causes the H/C haired man groaned and slowly sat up from his bed, yawning a little bit as he stood up and wore his shirt from yesterday.

Y/N: Coming!

He yelled as he walked out of his bedroom, walking closer as he opens the door, seeing two figures on the other side, knowing that one figure was Minato, but with him is a nee face.

She had a slender, but feminine build, fair skin, violet eyes, and a fiery red hair. Y/N was surprised by this as he looks at his guests.

Y/N: Minato, what are you doing here?

Minato: Well, I live here a few rooms away and since there was a new owner of this room, she decided to drop by.

Y/N: And you are?

He said as he looks at the woman beside Minato, not wanting to be rude as he tried to ask her nicely.

Kushina: I'm Kushina, it's very nice to meet you, neighbor!

Y/N: Likewise.

He smiled as Minato chuckled at the both of them as he claps his hands as he looks at Y/N.

Minato: So, anything you got planned for today? It's my day off so me and Kushina here will be having a day to ourselves.

Y/N: Yeah, I was going to buy some clothes and food for the apartment, since it's my first time in a new place, so I gotta stock up.

Kushina: That's great! We'll help you buy those stuff!

Y/N: Are you sure? I don't want to intrude in your day.

Kushina: Pfft! Don't be silly, it's been a while since Minato took me out, plus, he had told me everything!

She said as Y/N took a glance at Minato who was now sweating a little bit, knowing that if he spill his secret, he would have to eliminate him.

Y/N: Oh do you now Minato?

Minato: Yeah, well, the fight most of it though.

He said as Y/N let out a small chuckle as Kushina grabs his arm and drags him with incredible strength as they went downstairs.

Kushina: Come on! We're already wasting time!

Minato: Carful or you might break him.

Y/N: I may be broken in half right now.

The three of them laughed as they went to start their day, helping Y/N to settle in was their agenda for today as they walk through the stores of the village.

Kushina: So, you're a wanderer right? Tell me about your travels.

Y/N: Well, it was very relaxing, got to meet different people, and explore the scenery.

Kushina: So what made you stay here then? From what you told us now, it sounds pretty fun.

Y/N: Yeah it is, but I wanna stop for now, not sure when will I start to travel again.

He said as she nodded in understanding as they reached a store that sells clothes, they walk inside and started to search for some clothes. Y/N saw some clothes and decided to take it and try them on. Once he was done, he took a quick look on the mirror.

He was now wearing a gray shirt over a black jacket vest, F/C hiking pants, and a pair of their shoes.

Y/N: Not bad.

He said as he takes them off and decided to buy them, knowing that he had to buy more clothes as he went on a small shopping spree. Once he was done, Minato and Kushina saw the things he brought as they were surprised by the amount of clothes that he had to buy.

Minato: You really had to buy a lot huh?

Y/N: Well, yeah, if I wanna live here then I have to buy as many as I can.

Kushina: While you were buying your clothes, I took the liberty to do groceries.

Y/N: Kushina you shouldn't have.

Minato: Don't mind it, think of it as a house warming gift.

Y/N: Thank you very much.

He said as he smiled and looks at them, knowing that his time in Konoha would be worthwhile.

Kushina: So, hungry?

She asked as the both of them nodded as she smiled, dragging both men to a place where she and Minato always go. As they were walking, they talked about many random things up to where Y/N would go on his travels. The three of them stop at a building as Y/N read the sign.

Y/N: Ichiraku's?

Kushina: Yup, this place has the best ramen in the Land of Fire!

She said as she pulled the two men inside as they sat down on the bar stool, while a man walked out of the kitchen.

???: Kushina, Minato, it's been a while.

Kushina: Yes it is Teuchi, business must be booming?

Teuchi: More or less yeah. Who's the other guy?

He asked as he was pertaining to Y/N who was sitting next to Minato as Kushina looks at him with a smile.

Kushina: Oh, he's our new neighbor, Y/N.

Y/N: It's nice to meet you sir.

Teuchi: Don't be so formal, Teuchi is fine. So, the usual?

Both Kushina and Minato nodded as Y/N just shrugged, not knowing what to order as Teuchi made the same order as the both of them. Once he went inside, they waited for a bit, but it wasn't as quiet as they hope for.

A bowl was flying over to Kushina as Minato and Y/N felt it as Minato went to her side to catch the bowl, while Y/N stood up and walked over to a table where the commotion was going on. Over at the table, there was a group of drunk customers who were causing a ruckus, Y/N tapped one of the man there as they look at him.

Y/N: Excuse me, but you almost hit my friend there.

Man 1: So, what about it?

Y/N: Could I ask you all to leave, since you are very drunk to be here still, someone may be hurt if you're still here.

He said as he started to walk back to their spot, not until the man stood up and grabbed his wrist.

Man 1: Don't you know who are you talking to?

Man 3: Yeah, we are not to be force with.

Teuchi: Now, now, gentlemen, let's talk about this and resolve this peacefully.

Y/N: We're done here, if he apologize to my friend there.

Man 1: Go to hell!

He yelled as he started to throw a punch towards Y/N as he turned around and blocks his fist, shoving him back as he looks at them.

Y/N: I don't want to hurt you, I just need you to apologize.

Man 1: Get him!

As he yelled the rest of the group started to charge towards him, taking a deep breath as he stood there. One of the man started to throw a punch, Y/N grabbed his fist as he bends it a little bit as the other male started to use a kunai to attack him, he kicked the man away as he pins the other man down as he looks at the man from earlier.

Y/N: Last chance, apologize.

He said as he yelled and charges towards Y/N, not until a figure started to punch the man on the floor, after he had witnessed what happened the man started to apologize rapidly as his group ran out of the shop.

Kushina: You alright?

Y/N: Y-Yeah, I am.

He said as Kushina smiled as they went back to their seats, their order came in as Teuchi looked at Y/N.

Teuchi: Well, that takes care of them. Thank you for being the better man out of them.

Y/N: It was no problem, but, about Kushina.

Teuchi: She's always like that, don't worry about it. It's no secret in what The Yellow Flash of Konoha saw in her.

Y/N chuckled a little bit as he enjoyed his food, hearing Minato's nickname he wondered about Kushina.

Y/N: Does Kushina have a nickname?

Teuchi: Of course, she is called The Red-Hot Habanero of the Leaf. What about you, do you have a nickname?

Y/N: I'm still finding it though, but maybe one day, there might be one.

He said as they both chuckle and kept on eating. Once they were done eating, they paid up their bills and started to head home, having a wonderful time with his new found friends was a rare sight. They reached their apartment and went to their separate ways, Y/N walked inside his apartment and placed the food in the fridge, and his clothes on his dresser as he lies down in bed and slept the day away in peace.

"Everything is perfect."
