As the sun slowly sets down on the village, the H/C haired boy took his time to visit his old friends. He was standing and looking at their names as he gives respect to the both of them.

Y/N: Guess that your son has quite grown into a prankster, although, I don't blame you for it though.

He said as he lets out a small chuckle on his end, letting out a small sigh as he looks up for a while.

Y/N: Tomorrow will be the graduation exams, I hope that he will pass. Maybe, it's time for him to take it seriously this time. He is quite handful.

He said as he chuckled at himself, knowing that he is quite growing close to Naruto, of course, he would scold him from the pranks that he would cause, but in the end, he just lets him be. He let out a small sigh as he saw that the sun was slowly going down.

Y/N: Well, I guess it's time for me to go. I need to prepare for tomorrow, not like I would need it or anything.

He said as he smiled and started to walk out, not until, he saw a familiar face walking to the same spot were he is earlier.

Kakashi: Surprised that you're here of all places Y/N.

Y/N: Yeah, guess it brings back memories where I left Naruto to the Hokage and paid my respects to his parents.

Kakashi: Look Y/N, you did what you have to-

Y/N: Save it Kakashi, lecturing me about some idiotic plans and decisions won't bring them back. I've moved on and accepted the results.

He said as the both of them took a breather, looking around as silence were filled the air.

Kakashi: Where were you 4 years ago?

Y/N: Huh, I didn't know you were investigating me all of a sudden.

Kakashi: I was curious that's all.

Y/N: Let's just say, I've been on a soul searching. Trying to find myself and wondered where did I go wrong the past couple of years.

This took a completely different turn as Kakashi knew that he wouldn't get any information out of Y/N as he looks at him for a while.

Y/N: Is that all Kakashi? If you'll excuse me, I'll be going now. I have a graduation exam to pass and I wouldn't miss it for myself and my nephew.

He said as Kakashi sighed and moved forward, leaving Y/N to walk out of the graves as he went back to his apartment, wanting to get some final reading and training for the big exam for tomorrow.

The next day

Morning came as the H/C haired boy was walking towards the academy, having to study and practiced some jutsus last night made his confidence level spiked up, wishing that Naruto had been practicing some for himself.

Last thing he heard yesterday was Naruto being with Iruka while eating ramen was just the normal talk for him. He was glad that Iruka has been there for Naruto, treating him like one of the normal kids his age.

After a couple of walks later, he reached the academy, walking towards his classroom as his mind trailed off, thinking of how will he pass the exam.

Iruka: You'll be performing the Clone Jutsu for the graduation exam.

Iruka announced as the class were quite relieved on the announcement, but one of them was not having the exact reaction as everyone is.

Naruto: I'll flunk this test for sure!

He freaked out as one by one the students started to head inside the other room as Naruto grew weary about the exam, this wouldn't go unnoticed by Y/N.

The H/C haired boy walked up to the blond one as he pats him on the back, making sure that he caught his attention.

Y/N: Hey, cheer up, I know you can do it Naruto.

With those words, Naruto psych himself up as he nodded, filling him with determination for the moment as Y/N's name got called, waving at Naruto one last time as he went inside the room.

Upon seeing Iruka and another man with white shoulder-length hair with a slight hint of blue to it and green eyes going by the name Mizuki, Iruka speaks up.

Iruka: Alright Y/N, all you have to do is make 3 perfect copies of yourself and you'll pass.

Mizuki: No pressure.

They both said as Y/N nodded, focusing himself as he performs the jutsu, accompanying with the correct hand signs.

Y/N: Clone Jutsu.

He said as out comes a perfect 3 copies of himself as Iruka nodded writing on his clipboard.

Iruka: Congratulations! You passed. Please pick a forehead protector.

He said as Y/N nodded, making his clones disappear as he walked forward, settling in on a F/C colored forehead protector as he places it on his B/P (Body Part) tying it nicely.

Iruka: Now, please, call Naruto.

He said as he nodded, giving one last look at the both of them as he bowed and went out, not without having some thoughts about the Mizuki guy.

Y/N: That guy ain't right.

He said softly as he looks at Naruto for a bit, smiling as Naruto saw his forehead protector.

Naruto: Woah! You passed! That's awesome!

Y/N: Thanks, I know you can do it too Naruto!

He said as he nodded as he flashed a small grin on his face.

Naruto: I'm gonna pass this exam! Believe it!

Y/N: Good! I'll see you in Ichiraku's for a celebration of our graduation.

He said, as Naruto is filled with determination as he went inside, heading out of the room as he decided to rest up, knowing that he was now a certified ninja.

He found himself outside of the academy, seeing that parents of his class were there, waiting for them to walk out as a ninja. Some people were surprised that Y/N passed, but he didn't mind them instead he went towards Ichiraku's having to celebrate with Naruto.

Once he was there, Teuchi greeted him with a smile as Y/N sat on the barstool.

Teuchi: So, a certified ninja now?

Y/N: You know I am.

Teuchi: Good, cause the celebratory ramen is on the house for you and Naruto!

He said as he chuckled a little bit, knowing that Naruto wasn't going to pass up on that opportunity as Y/N waited for him.

Time passed by as it was already night, the store was about to close as Y/N kept on waiting for Naruto, but he didn't came, wondering what happened to the boy.

Y/N apologizes to Teuchi as he sighed, saying that they can arrange the celebration tomorrow as Y/N went home. As he was walking home, he felt that something is wrong as he saw some ninjas jumping from roof to roof as the thought hit him.

Y/N: I sense trouble.

He said as he hurriedly went to the forest, his instincts kicked in when he feels that something is going on, or just the jutsu he placed on Naruto years ago so he can sense if he is in trouble or not.

He hopped from tree to tree as shortly after, he reached where Naruto is but he took off in a hurry, and it looks like he was right about the Mizuki guy. He was in the middle of confronting Iruka, of course this wouldn't go unnoticed by the H/C haired boy as he saw the fuma shuriken on Iruka's back.

Mizuki: Didn't you see those eyes? Those were the eyes of the Demon Fox.

He said as this got his blood boiling as he looks at the scene, not making a move until it was necessary to intervene. Iruka pulled the shuriken off his back as he throws it towards the other male, who effortlessly dodges it.

Mizuki: I'll deal with you later.

He said as he followed Naruto as Iruka followed, Y/N on the other hand wouldn't let Mizuki get away as he followed the two. As he followed them, he got down on the ground to hide as Iruka looked at Mizuki.

Iruka: No one accepts him, but he knows the meaning of human suffering.

He said as he looks at Mizuki, who was giving him a look as Iruka smirked.

Iruka: He works very hard, and he's single minded and clumsy at the same time.

With a determined look, Iruka felt that Naruto had him when no one else would.

Iruka: He is Uzumaki Naruto of the Village Hidden in the Leaves!

Mizuki: I was gonna take you down later, but I have changed my mind.

He readied his last shuriken as out of the blue, Naruto showed up and gave him a knee on his face, sending him flying as Y/N and Iruka was surprised by this.

Naruto: If you ever lay a hand on Iruka-sensei. I'll kill you!

He said as this time Naruto was serious about being having a throwdown on Mizuki.

Mizuki: Let's see you try! Show me what you can do Demon Fox!

Mizuki yelled as Naruto performed some hand signs, finishing it up and what happened next was truly remarkable.

Naruto: Shadow Clone Jutsu!

He yelled as hundreds of perfectly cloned Naruto appeared as he surrounds Mizuki all over the forest, making Y/N smirked at this.

Naruto: What's wrong? Come on!

At this point Mizuki was outnumbered and outmatched as he just screamed and accepted his fate, earning a beat up from dozens of Naruto.

As the scene slowly closed, Naruto and Iruka talked it out for the moment, knowing that this wouldn't be even told to anyone but the Hokage as Y/N was about to leave, noticing that Mizuki was beaten up but slowly drawing a kunai out of his pockets as Y/N had enough, wanting to put him down as he went to work.

Mizuki: You think...you've won...Demon Fox!

He yelled as this caught the attention of the two as Mizuki was going to throw the kunai, but someone stopped him from doing it.

Behind the two, a figure was standing behind them, shaking in fear as Mizuki stared at it. Blinking as the figure changed into a man, wearing a crimson red armor as he dropped the kunai, earning questionable looks from both Iruka and Naruto.

Mizuki: You! You can't be real!

He yelled as Naruto and Iruka stared at him, looking behind them as there was nothing there. Mizuki rubbed his eyes with the remaining strength he has as the figure turned back into a scarecrow looking one, staring deeply in his eyes as Mizuki blinked.

It was gone. He blinked once more, the figure was close. He backed away slowly as he possibly can as he closed his eyes and opened them, it was the man with crimson armor. He blinked once more and the scarecrow was back, looking at him one last time as he closed his eyes, slowly opening them as the terror ended.

The scary figure of the scarecrow started to move as it went towards to Mizuki, chasing him as he yelled, his mouth foamed a bit as he blacked out, leaving Y/N looking down at him, wearing his armor as the mere figure of Naruto and Iruka was slumped on a tree, seemingly passed out as Y/N stared down at Mizuki. His form started to change back and forth as his speaks up, his voice was distorted.
