That day, Jake is doing a workout  at the gym inside the hotel he was staying at. Once he was done, he went straight to the restaurant to have lunch. After he ordered his food and drink, suddenly, someone came and sat right in front of him.

"Seriously, Newell. What do you want?" asked Jake.

"I'm trying to be your friend" replied Tegan.

"Not interested" said Jake.

"Really? Why are you so arrogant?" asked Tegan.

"No, I'm not. Last time I had plenty of friends, they ended up turning their back on me. So, no thanks. Go and find another person to be your friend" replied Jake. Tegan scoffed.

"Seriously, Walker? You never greet anyone in the locker room and when someone finally approaches you, you simply reject?" asked Tegan.

"Yes. Did I bother anyone? No. Did I harm anyone? No. So why don't you just stop bothering me and leave me alone" said Jake.

"You're so lonely" said Tegan.

"Well, a bit of a spoiler, Miss Newell. I was a prisoner. Inside the prison, I was on my own to survive. Friends who?" replied Jake.

"Whatever, Walker!" said Tegan before she walked away.

"What a pain in the ass" muttered Jake alone.

"You shouldn't do that" said Wyatt that came by with Toni.

"Again, mate. That's none of your business" replied Jake.

"You'll never get a girlfriend if you treated ladies like that" said Toni.

"The last time I had a girlfriend, I got framed and sent to the prison by the court. So, I'd rather be alone" replied Jake.

"You can't assume everybody is the same" said Wyatt.

"Oh, yes I can. Besides, it's none of your business" replied Jake.

"It is. Because you're hurting our co-workers' feelings. You better apologise to her" said Toni.

"Hell no. You know what, you made me lose my appetite already. Excuse me, waiter. Change my order from dine-in to take away please" said Jake.

"Yes, sir" replied the waiter. Jake then finished his water. After his meals arrived, he made a payment and returned to his room.

"Can you believe that, babe?" asked Toni.

"Well, I remembered the time where he plays for the England National team in the World Cup. He seems very happy with his teammates based on their social media post" said Wyatt as she and Toni took a seat at their table.

"I know. I guess prison changed him a lot" replied Toni.

"I don't think it's because of the prison, babe. It must be something his former teammates make him hard to trust" said Wyatt.

"I see. So, he needs help?" asked Toni.

"Of course he needs it. But, the question is what type of help? As you can see, he rejected Steffanie and ran away from Brianna of NXT" replied Wyatt.

"He's complicated" said Toni. Wyatt just nodded.

That night;

As soon as Jake arrived at the arena, he was summoned to Triple H's office.

"You're calling for me, boss?" asked Jake.

"Yes, Jake. Take a sit, please" replied Triple H. Jake nodded before took a seat.

"So, boss. Am I in trouble?" asked Jake. Triple H smirked.

"No, you're not, son. I heard from some other superstars that you are always alone. Do you have problems with your co-workers?" asked Triple H.

"No, sir" replied Jake.

"Look, son. I know that you have trust issues with your soccer teammates but I think you'll agree if I say that your co-workers here in WWE had nothing to do with that" said Triple H.

"Yes, sir" replied Jake.

"So, I think it's not fair for you to ignore all your colleague here just because you lost trust in your soccer teammates" said Triple H. Jake sighed.

"Yes, sir" replied Jake.

"So, can you fix it? Not for me, but for your own sake. You're a great talent, Jake. But you can't be successful all by yourself. I didn't ask you to get along with everybody. But at least, put your trust in a few people that you think that you can trust and make some friends here" said Triple H.

"I will, sir. But it will take time" replied Jake.

"Well, better late than never, right. Now, you can leave" said Triple H. Jake just nodded before walking away.

Later on;

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall!"

"Introducing first. From Davenport, Iowa. Weighed in at 225 lb. Seth 'Freakin' Rollins!"

"And his opponent. From Tokyo, Japan. Weighed in at 235 lb. The Wanderer; Joe Marufuji!"

TING! TING! TING!

The match begins with Rollins challenged by Joe for a chained wrestling wrestling. Joe just smirked before kicking Rollins straight on his chest. Rollins laughed while getting up before trying to hit Jake with a lariat but Joe countered it with a Lou Thesz press followed by multiple punches on the face.

Later on;

Joe tried to hit Rollins with German suplex but Rollins managed to counter it with elbow strike to Joe's face before Irish whipped Jake to the rope followed by a slingblade. Rollins then climbed the topturnbuckle before hits Joe with an elbow drop. Rollins then went for a cover but Jake kicked out after 2 counts.

"Worry, Becks?" asked Charlotte.

"How she's not to? Who knows what might happen to Colby now. That guy over there must be a quiet freak" replied Bayley

"Well, Pam. We didn't know that. It's not good to just assume that he's a freak. Kevin faced him before and was completely fine" said Io.

"What about Kiyomiya?" asked Dakota.

"It's just one time. Besides, you should know that Kiyomiya is his senpai in Noah" replied Io.

"Which means that he and Kiyomiya really trust each other" said Charlotte.

"Then, why can't he trust any of us here?" asked Tegan.

"He is still a new guy here. He needs more time to absorb everything here. It's not that he's a bad guy or something. He just can't trust people easily" replied Io.

"To be honest, I'm not worry about Colby. Besides, like I said before, I don't think that he's a bad guy. He just being lonely. Maybe because like you both said; he doesn't trust anyone of us yet or maybe he thought that none of us want to be his friend since he got criminal record" said Becky.

Later on;

Rollins tried to hit Joe with Curb Stomp but Joe managed to dodge it before hitting Rollins with a Dragon suplex. Joe then walked to a corner and called for a finishing move. When Rollins is about to get up, Joe dashes towards him and hits Rollins with End of Journey before going for a cover.

As Joe is about to celebrate his win, suddenly Bobby Lashley comes out of nowhere and hits Joe with a spear. Then, Randy Orton hits Lashley with RKO outta nowhere. As Orton is mocking Lashley, Lesnar sneaks out from the crowds before hitting Orton with an F-5. Then, Rollins has just recovered from End of Journey's impact and quickly hits Lesnar with a low blow followed by the Curb Stomp. While Rollins laughed at Lesnar, The Danger Zone Wyatt Danger sneaked behind him and hit Rollins with Taste of Danger. And finally Joe hits Wyatt with a dragon suplex followed by End of Journey (A/N: Sorry 16vxriot 🤣🤣🤣). Jake stands tall to end the show.

Later on;

When Jake entered the lobby of the hotel, he saw Io and Dakota are at the receptionist.

"Are you sure there is no available room here?" asked Dakota.

"Yes, Miss. We're so sorry" replied the receptionist.

"Nevermind then" said Io as they both walked away.

"Is there any problem here?" asked Jake.

"Oh, hi Jake-kun. Nothing. It's just that we want to check in here but there is no room available" replied Io.

"Have you tried other hotels?" asked Jake.

"Yes but we got the same answer" replied Io.

"But of course, it's none of your business" mocked Dakota.

"Cheree" said Io.

"What? We all know that he's arrogant after all" replied Dakota.

"Enough of that. Sorry about that, Jake-kun. We just stressed out as we can't get a room for tonight" said Io.

"It's okay, Io-san. You know what, why don't you both just stay in my room for tonight?" asked Jake.

"Are you sure?" asked Io.

"Yes. Don't worry. You don't have to pay anything" replied Jake.

"Really? What's in for you then?" asked Dakota.

"Well, as long as you're not complaining of me shouting and cursing while playing games, I'm cool" replied Jake. Io and Dakota giggled.

"Thank you, Jake. We really appreciate it" said Io.

"No problem. Let's go then" replied Jake before walking to the elevator.

"Sorry for calling you arrogant, Jake. It slipped out of my mouth" said Dakota.

"That's alright. I kinda deserved it anyway" replied Jake.

"Hey, don't say such things. There must be something in your past that makes you act that way. I'm sure that you're a nice guy" said Io.

"Thanks, Io-san" replied Jake. After a while they arrived at Jake's room.

"Okay, then. You ladies can take the bed. I'll just sleep on the couch" said Jake.

"Are you sure? The bed is enough for 3 people" replied Dakota.

"Yes I'm so sure. Besides, it's not that I will quickly sleep tonight. Like I said, I want to play some mobile games first. Hope that you can bear the noise" said Jake.

"No problem" replied Io. Then, after changing their clothes, Io and Dakota lie down on the bed while Jake puts on his airpod and plays PUBG Mobile. But after a while, Dakota gets up and took a seat besides Jake.

"Can't sleep, Cheree?" asked Jake.

"Well, you can say that. So, this is you, huh. Playing games and all" replied Dakota.

"Well, like you see, a former prisoner like me seldomly has friend. So, this is me" said Jake.

"Well, not anymore. I mean Io-san and I are now your friend" said Dakota.

"Really?" asked Jake.

"Of course. I'm sure you'll not let a stranger entered your room that easy, right" replied Dakota.

"You made a good point there" said Jake.

"And not only us. There are other top stars like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre and others that think highly of you. Not to mention, a few in NXT looked up to you too. You just need to trust us a bit" replied Dakota.

"You're right. Thanks for the peep talk. Really appreciate it" said Jake.

"No problem. Now, I'm going to sleep before you keep dying in your game. Goodnight" replied Cheree before returning to bed. Jake just chuckled.
