A day after Day 3 of Wrestle Kingdom 16;

Jake is having a meeting with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at his condominium.

"So, Jake. What do you think about our offer?" asked Triple H.

"Well, I love your offer but there is one thing you need to know about me; I don't trust anyone so easily. So, I don't want any tag team match or joining any stable" replied Jake.

"So, you'll be part as a single competitor? Very well then" said Stephanie.

"Thanks, ma'am. That's all I need" replied Jake.

"Very well then. So, I can welcome you to the company then right" said Triple H.

"Actually, boss. Can we keep it as a secret for now? As you can see, I still have unfinished business with someone" replied Jake.

"Very well then. So, we'll see you around then" said Stephanie. Jake just nodded. After a while, Triple H and Stephanie left.

"WWE, huh. I guess I'm doing just fine all alone" muttered Jake alone. He then turned on his PS5 and played Assassin's Creed.

A few days later;

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS A ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH! THE ONLY WAY TO WIN IT IS BY SENDING YOUR OPPONENT OVER THE TOP ROPE WITH BOTH FEET TOUCH THE FLOOR. AND THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH WILL BE GUARANTEED A TITLE SHOT AT WRESTLE MANIA!"

"Introducing entrant no.1. From Gainesville, Georgia. Weighed in at 218lb. The Phenomenal; AJ Styles!"

"Introducing entrant no.2. From Kyoto, Japan. Weighed in at 229lb. The Artist known as; Shinsuke Nakamura!"

10 superstars already entered the match with 5 already being eliminated. The countdown then appeared.

The crowds goes wild as Will Ospreay making his entrance for Royal Rumble match.

Meanwhile at the backstage;

"Hey, is this means that Forbidden Door had opened?" asked Becky.

"It seems yes. With Ospreay joining the Royal Rumble" replied Charlotte.

"Who's next then" said Io.

"We'll see soon enough" replied Bianca.

The crowds go wild as the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, The Rainmaker; Kazuchika Okada made his WWE debut. Okada quickly slides in and attack Ospreay. After hits a massive Rainmaker, Okada tossed Ospreay out over the rope to eliminate him. Then, AJ Styles came out of nowhere and eliminate Okada. Okada was pissed off while Styles just laughed.

"This is quite a show" said Charlotte.

"That's true. With the Forbidden Door opened, it is just getting better" replied Becky.

Later on;

The Royal Rumble match had been half through as 20 wrestlers already made their entrant. Then, the countdown appears.

The Emerald Star; Kaito Kiyomiya then made his entrance before quickly running into the ring.

"After New Japan, now a superstar from NOAH?" said Io.

"Yes. Who's next? Jay White? Kenny Omega? Or maybe Cody Rhodes?" asked Becky.

"There are only 9 entrants left. With what happened in the match between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley, Brock might join in and if he wins, he will challenge Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania" replied Bianca.

"I wonder if the GHC Heavyweight Champion will be here too" said Charlotte.

"We can expect that I think since Kiyomiya is here" replied Io.

"Did the Queen interested to The Wanderer?" teased Becky.

"Hell, no. After El Idolo, I don't think that I'll interested with anyone else" replied Charlotte.

The crowds went electrified as the current GHC Heavyweight Champion, The Wanderer; Joe Marufuji is the entry no. 25 of the Royal Rumble.

"He's really here" said Charlotte.

"Well, Kiyomiya is here after all" replied Becky.

"That's true. Now, what will happen here" said Io.

Joe then grabbed a mic from a nearby crew.

"KIYOMIYA! Kisama o korosu!" said Joe before dropped the microphone and dashed into the ring. Kiyomiya tried to hit Joe with a clothsline but Joe managed to dodge it before made a rope run and hits Kiyomiya with a flying forearm. As Kiyomiya about to get up, Jake dashed towards him and hits End of Journey. He then grabbed Kiyomiya's hair and pulled him up before tossed him over the top rope. He then runs toward a turnbuckle before quickly climbed it before hits Kiyomiya with a Swanton Bomb.

"Did he just eliminate himself?" asked  Becky.

"It seems yes. I think he didn't care about Royal Rumble anymore" replied Charlotte.

"He's here for Kiyomiya's head, huh" said Bianca.

"Yes. They both have unfinished business after all" replied Io.

Later on;

Joe was seen at a nearby dumpster when Charly Carusso came.

"Excuse me, Joe. Can you tell me and the rest of WWE Universe what just happened?" asked Charly.

"Well, I just take care of some unfinished business. That's all" replied Joe.

"So, what happened to Kiyomiya now?" asked Charly.

"Well..." before Joe can finished his words, Kiyomiya was seen trying to get out from the dumpster. Seeing this, Joe grabbed a trash can lid and hit Kiyomiya on his head.

"Well, as you can see, he's sleeping. It's already late at night after all. So, goodbye and goodnight" said Joe before walked away.

On the next night on RAW;

"Ladies and gentlemen. Please welcome the GHC Heavyweight Champion, The Wanderer; Joe Marufuji!"

"I know some of you didn't expect me or Okada to be here last night. But, we did. Making a debut here in WWE was a great feeling for me. I saw how all of you were supporting me last night and I can't thank you enough. So..." before Joe can finish his words, suddenly;

Kiyomiya then made his way into the ring. As he entered the ring, he quickly grabbed the mic that Jake held.

"Marufuji! Teme wa omoshiroi to omoimasu ka? Kuruma ni ono o nagetsukete gomibako ni hōrikonda nochi. Owatta to omoimasu ka?" asked Kiyomiya. (Marufuji! You think you're funny? After throwing an axe to my car and throwing me inside the dumpster. Do you think it's over?) Jake raised his eyebrows before asking for another mic.

"Calm down, Kiyomiya. As you can see, we are in America now. These people here didn't speak Japanese despite watching a lot of hentai" replied Joe.

"Whatever. I'm still not done with you until I get back the GHC Heavyweight title!" said Kiyomiya.

"Ah, this. Very well then. Since I'm such a nice guy, I'll give you a shot" said Joe. Kiyomiya was excited.

"But not tonight. It will be on February 23 at Gain Control in Nagoya where I will kick your ass again and again!" replied Joe before hitting Kiyomiya with the title belt.

"Mata ao na, Kiyomiya-kun" said Joe before leaving the ring.

Later on;

Joe was seen to be at the parking lot as he was about to leave when suddenly, Kiyomiya came out of nowhere and cheap shot Joe. As Joe was down, Kiyomiya punched Joe multiple times on the face before grabbing Joe's hair.

"Teme wa kashikoi to omoimasu ka? Oresama wa mo~tsu to kashikoidesu!" said Kiyomiya. (Do you think you're smart? I am smarter!)

Kiyomiya then hits Joe with his Tiger Suplex.

"Watashi wa emerarudosutādesu; Kiyomiya Kaito. Oboitoke!" said Kiyomiya before walking away.
