That Monday;

A Range Rover was seen entering the parking lot. Then, the doors opened before Joe Marufuji, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa exited the car. 3 of them then made their way inside the arena. After a while;

"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa; Guerilla of Destiny and the WWE Champion, The Wanderer; Joe Marufiji!"

Joe and GoD making their entrance followed by a huge jeers from the crowds. Once they get into the ring, Joe asked for the microphone.

"Seriously. I don't understand any of you here. Last Saturday on Night 1 of Wrestlemania, I defeated Wyatt Danger CLEAN. I showed you that not only I don't need GoD to retain my title, GoD too didn't need my help when they defeated The Viking Raiders on the opening of Night 2. Not to mention, they won the match clean too" said Joe.

"But still, you love our opponents and keep hating us? That's why we didn't give a fuck about what do you want and what do you want to say" Joe continued.

"So, all of you can suck up to your favourite superstars and go to hell because we're here not to kiss asses, we're here to kick them HARD" said Joe as he lifted up his WWE title up high.

Later on;

Joe and GoD walked to the backstage when they came across Finn Balor, Damien Priest, Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley.

"Well, well. It seems that you found a new boss now huh, Tama?" said Finn.

"And you found some lackeys after you left me and the boys in Japan, FINN" replied Tama.

"Well, they offered me a lot to be here. Isn't that the same reason that all of you are here. Especially you, Marufuji. Your world is already rejecting you innit" said Finn.

"I don't know what you are talking about, Balor. As you can see, this is my world now" replied Joe while patting the WWE title.

"I see. So what if I took that away from you? Where do you think you'll be ended up to?" asked Finn. Before Joe can answered, suddenly;

"Well, well. Isn't it such a sweet reunion here? Why didn't I get invitation. Did you, Karl?" asked AJ.

"Nope. What about you, Luke?" asked Karl Anderson in returned.

"No. None of these nerdy nerds ever sent it to me" replied Gallows.

"Invitation of what? 4 of you are nothing" said Joe towards The Judgement Day.

"As for 3 of you, you should retired and spent the rest of your life at retirement home already" said Joe towards The Club. Before something else happened, Adam Pearce appeared with some security.

"Okay, that's enough. I'll tell you what. Tonight at the main event, we will have a match to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship at Backlash between The Phenomenal; AJ Styles and The Prinxe; Finn Balor. As for you, Joe. You will have a mixed tag team match against Montez Ford and Bianca Belair. You can choose anyone as your partner" said Pearce.

"Partner, huh. But I don't work with chicks" said Joe.

"That's not my problem. Either you do it, or you're fired" replied Pearce.

"I can't believe this" said Joe before he and GoD walked away.

Later on at the catering;

"So, Jake. Who is your partner?" asked Priest.

"You'll know it soon" replied Jake.

"You sure keep a lot of secret nowadays" said Rollins.

"You didn't want us to know that person is your girlfriend, right?" asked Styles causing Jake to accidentally spit the water from his mouth.

"I don't have any girlfriend, old man. The last time I had one, she sent me to prison" replied Jake.

"So your partner tonight is one of your best friends?" asked Balor.

"No, not Steff or Brianna. It's someone else" replied Jake.

"Don't tell me that she's one of your wardens in prison" said Anderson.

"No way. One of them called me this morning and said I can use their service if I want to but I need to pay a lot" replied Jake. The rest just chuckled.

Later on;

"The following contest is a mix tag team match scheduled for one fall!"

"Introducing first. Representing The Street Profits. Montez Ford and The EST of WWE; Bianca Belair!"

"And their opponent. First, from Tokyo, Japan. Weighing in 240 lbs. He is the WWE Champion. The Wanderer; Joe Marufuji!"

Then;

"And his tag team partner. From Tokyo Japan. One half of the WWE Women Tag Team Champions; Iyo Sky!"

Ting! Ting! Ting!

The match begins with both Io and Bianca get into a series of chained wrestling which ended up with Bianca hits Io with a forearm.

A few minutes later;

Joe and Montez are the legal men. They were changing blow until Ford managed to block Joe's forearm before hits the WWE Champion with a lariat. Iyo Sky then tried to interfere but Bianca managed to avoid her from doing so with a dropkick before tossed Io out from the ring followed by a suicide dive. Suddenly, Tanga Loa appeared and distracted the referee. Tama Tonga then slides in a steelchair to Joe after Joe hits Montez Ford with a low blow. As Montez manages to get up, Joe hits Montez with the steel chair before throw it away. When the referee turned around, Joe quickly went for a cover to win the match.

"Here is your winner; Joe Marufuji and Io Shirai!"

After the winner was announced, GoD quickly slid into the ring and started to brutalize Montez Ford while Joe just watched. Bianca tried to stop them from beating up her husband, but Io hit her with a steel chair. Angelo Dawkins then made his entrance with a baseball bat. As he gets into the ring, Joe, Io and GoD quickly retreat.

Later on;

Jake is just exiting the locker room when Adam Pearce stops him.

"Sorry for such short notice, Jake. But I need you to go straight to San Antonio because Matt Riddle is supposed to be there and can't make it on time for the Live Event" said Pearce.

"I see. Okay, then. I'll go right away" replied Jake.

"Thanks, man. You're a lifesaver" said Pearce.

"Don't mention it" replied Jake as he walked away to his Range Rover where Tegan is there.

"Sorry, mate. You need to find another ride tomorrow. I need to head to San Antonio tonight" said Jake.

"Really? It's okay. I'll text Cheree right away" replied Tegan.

"Good" said Jake.

"No problem. So, are you going to replace anyone in the Live Event?" asked Tegan as they got into the Range Rover.

"Yes. I need to replace Matt Riddle" replied Jake.

"Such a hot stuff, aren't you" said Tegan.

"Well, it's me after all" replied Jake as he drives away. Tegan just giggled.

Later on;

After dropping Tegan at the hotel she'll be staying, Jake drives his car on the highway.

"It's quite weird going around alone. I guess I am now a normal human being innit" muttered Jake alone. Suddenly, a car came from the opposite direction lost control and went straight to Jake. Jake tried to dodge the car but the car went straight to crash on his Range Rover.

A few hours later;

Jake woke up and saw his left arm was already cemented and hung to his neck by a bandage.

"Ugghh, where am I" said Jake.

"Ah, Mr Walker. You woke up. You're involved in an accident 2 nights ago after being hit by a drunk driver. You are now at the hospital" replied the doctor in-charged; Dr Watson.

"I see. How am I, Doc?" asked Jake.

"Well, you suffered a minor concussion but as you can see, your left arm was broken. You can't wrestle for around 3 months at least" replied Dr Watson.

"I see" said Jake.

"It's okay. I'll fill up the detail later on" replied Dr Watson. Jake just nodded.

On the next Monday;

"Ladies and gentlemen. Please welcome the WWE Champion, The Wanderer; Joe Marufuji!"

Joe then made his entrance with the WWE Championship on his shoulder. Once he entered the ring, he asked for the microphone.

"As all of you know, last week after Raw, I was involved in the accident on my way to San Antonio. As you can see right now, I am totally not medically clear to compete tonight and my arm here will take at least 3 months to fully recover. So, here I am in this very ring right in front of you for one purpose only; which is to relinquish the WWE Championship" said Joe followed by loud jeers from the crowd.

"Yes I know you're mad because you can't see anyone to kick my ass here inside the ring for the time being but, this is what I must do so that you'll get the WWE Champion that you deserved. But let me tell you this, I will be back stronger than ever. So, to anyone that holds this gold in the future, be careful because I'll be back here" said Joe followed by loud cheers. Joe then smirked before taking a look at the WWE Championship belt before putting it down at the centre of the ring before walking away.
