It is a day before Night 3 of New Japan Pro Wrestling's Wrestle Kingdom 16 where the reigning GHC Heavyweight Champion; Joe Marufuji or his real name Jake Walker will face NJPW's IWGP Heavyweight Champion; Kazuchika Okada in the winner takes all match. That morning, Jake went to a gym for a light workout where he came across his mentor that also his maternal uncle; Naomichi Marufuji.

"Chotto yukkuri shimasen ka, jeiku? Omai wa ashita no mein ibento ni sankashimasu" said Marufuji. (Why don't you take it easy a bit, Jake? You'll be part of the main event tomorrow)

"Honkyochi de Okada o taoshita nochi wa nonbiri suru" replied Jake. (After I beat Okada in his home turf, I will take it easy)

"Sokka. Sonotoki jibun o kizutsukete inai koto o kakuninshitekudasai" said Marufuji. (I see. Make sure that you didn't hurt yourself then)

"Hai hai. Shinpaishinaide, ojiisan" replied Jake. Marufuji just smirked before walked away.

"Sorry, mum, dad, and grandmother. The time have yet to come for me to join you up there" muttered Jake alone.

Later on;

Jake is having lunch alone when he got a phone call.

Jake: Hai. Dare?

???: Sorry, I can't understand Japanese. Jake, is that you.

Jake: Kisama ka? Dō shiro tte iu ndesu ka??

???: Sorry but can you speak in English?  Is this Jake Walker?

Jake: Machigatta bangōda, kuso yarō.

Jake then quickly hung up.

"After killed my football career, you have guts to call me?" muttered Jake alone while finished his lunch.

That night;

Jake is watching anime when he got a phone call.

"Now what" muttered Jake alone before answered it.

Jake: Hello.

??: Jake Walker? This is Paul Levesque talking.

Jake: The man with 3 H? Never expecting this. So, what can I do for you, sir?

Triple H: Yes, that's me. So, I heard that your contract will be expired the day after Day 3 of Wrestle Kingdom.

Jake: That's true. Why?

Triple H: Interested to sign with WWE?

Jake: Wait, what?

Triple H: That's true. We can discuss more after you done with Wrestle Kingdom.

Jake: Very well then.

Triple H: Great. Goodluck in your match tomorrow. I'll be watching.

Jake: Thank you, sir.

Triple H: I will hung up now. Bye.

Jake: Bye.

Then, they hung up.

"Where did he even got my number?" muttered Jake alone.

"WWE, huh. Not a bad idea"

On the next day;

Jake arrived at Tokyo Dome early. As he was about to enter, he saw a woman around his age is waiting. He then walk passing through the woman but the woman grabbed his hand.

"Let me go, bitch" said Jake.

"Is that what did you call me now? Listen, I know that you're mad at me but please, hear me out" replied that woman.

"Fuck off" said Jake before walked away. Not long after he entered the lockeroom, his uncle came in.

"Ima okita koto o mita" said Marufuji. (I saw what happened just now)

"Sono koto wa hanashitakunai" replied Jake. (I don't want to talk about it)

"Hontoni?" asked Marufuji. (Really)

"Ah. Ore wa ima, Okada ga shinpai shite iru koto ga arimasu" replied Jake. (Yeah. I have Okada to worry about right now)

"Naruhodo. Omai wa kitto, goryōshin no kitai-dōri ni seichōshita ni chigai arimasen. Karera wa Omai o totemo hokori ni omoudeshou" said Marufuji. (I see. You sure have grown up just like your parents hope. They will be so proud of you) Jake smirked.

"Gaido no okagedesu. Ojiisan ga ore o koko ni tsurete konakattara, ore wa hōmuresu ni natte ita kamo shiremasen" replied Jake. (All thanks to your guide. If you didn't bring me here, I might have ended up being homeless) Marufuji smirked.

Later on during Wrestle Kingdom 16 Night 3 Main Event;

"Honjitsu no main evento, IWGP hebī kyūōza soshite GHC hebī kyūōza, rokujuppun, ippon shobu okonaimasu!"

"Akai kona; IWGP hebī kyūōja, ze rēnmekā; OKADA KAZUCHIKA!!!!"

"Aoi kona; GHC hebī kyūōja, ze wandera; JOE MARUFUJI!!!!"

Joe then entered the ring while lifting up his GHC Heavyweight Championship gold in front of Okada before Okada did the same. Then , the referee separated both champions.

TING! TING! TING!

The match begins with both wrestlers circling the center of the ring before they went into the collar-elbow tie up. Okada then pushed Joe to the rope before breaking the hold and patted Joe's chest. Joe smirked before they went back into collar-elbow tie up. This time, Jake managed to grab Okada's wrist before twisted it.

"Kore wa omaitachi no nanbāwan no otokodesu ka?!" yelled Joe before snapped Okada's finger followed by a kick straight to The Rainmaker's face.

Meanwhile;

Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and some others are among the crowds together with Marufuji.

"That's your nephew, Naomichi?" asked Stephanie.

"Yes. That's him" replied Marufuji.

"Who will ever thought that we will see a soccer prodigy main eventing pro wrestling major pay per view" said Triple H.

"Well, things happened. Now, look where is he" replied Marufuji.

"I never thought that you will allow us to have him" said Stephanie.

"Well, Steph. I want him to go around the world and meet new people. After what happened, it's hard for him to trust anyone" replied Marufuji.

"I see. Don't worry. I'm sure he will be just fine" said Triple H.

"I'll be counting on you then" replied Marufuji. Triple H just nodded.

Later on;

Joe is currently dominated the match. He then tried to hit Okada with a suplex but Okada managed to counter it with a DDT. Okada then climbed up the top turnbuckle before hitting Joe with a splash but Joe managed to roll away causing Okada to hit the ring. Joe then used the rope to help him back on his feet before walked to Okada and stomped him.

"They both are going all out, huh" said Triple H.

"Of course they are. They won't be facing each other for such a long time after all unless you open the Forbidde Door" replied Marufuji. Triple H chuckled.

"As much as I love to do so, I still need a suitable time" said Triple H.

"Well, Royal Rumble sounds good" replied Marufuji.

"Well, we'll need to discuss it with the rest of the Boards" said Stephanie. Marufuji just nodded.

Later;

It is already 30 minutes in the match and the champions are brawling outside the ring. Joe tried to hit Okada with a powerbomb to the barricade only for Okada to counter it with a hurrucanrana causing Joe to hit the post. Okada then quickly sent Jake back into the ring before he himself slides back into the ring. Okada stared at the crowds at the main stand before called for a Rainmaker. As Joe gets up, Okada quickly grabbed Jake's wrist before tried to hit him with a Rainmaker but Jake managed to dodge it before hits Okada with a Dragon suplex. Joe then walked to a corner and called up for his finishing move. As Okada started to get up, Joe dashed towards him and hits Okada with his End of Journey (Punt Kick) before went for a cover but Okada kicked out after 2 counts. Jake was disbelief.

The final 10 minutes of the match;

Joe is climbing up the top turnbuckle. When Okada started to get up, Joe tried to hit him with a body splash but Okada managed to catch him and counter it into the Tombstone Piledriver. Okada then called for another Rainmaker but this time, Joe countered it with German Suplex followed by a Shining Wizard. Suddenly, Takashi Sugiura came with a kendo stick but the referee stopped him. While the referee is arguing with Sugiura, suddenly Kiyomiya came out of nowhere before hitting Joe with a steelchair. He then quickly puts Okada over Joe's body before both he and Sugiura quickly left the ring. The referee then turned around before quickly made a count.

"1"
"2"
"Thre.." suddenly the bell rang as they already reached the time limit that ended the match with a draw.

Later on;

Joe is holding an axe that he got from the nearby fire extinguisher while look for Kiyomiya. As he reached the parking lot, he saw Kiyomiya about to leave. He then quickly runs towards him. As Kiyomiya realised Joe is chasing him, he quickly gets into his car and started the engine. Joe that saw this quickly throw the axe that hit straight to the the rear glass. Seeing this Kiyomiya quickly drives away.

"Fuck. You'll be a dead meat next time I saw you, you emerald bastard!" yelled Joe. He then took a deep breath before walked back in to his lockeroom.
