Tessa's Pov
I was in my room thinking. I have to leave in the world like this. Walkers, zombies! I grew up inside the house. I never ever had the chance to go outside to play. My father always protected me. My whole life I been inside. My mother died, when I was four. I miss her so much! But I never ever saw my father outside. I dreamed to go outside. But my father won't let me. But one day I snuck out the house and climbed into my fathers truck. I hid in the box. When they stopped, bunch of his guys were standing around these people. There is a kid like my age. Would my dad hurt a kid. He changed! He would never do this. I should know? He killed two of there men. I saw this lady crying. When my dad ordered the boy to come over. Then he got this man if there's, to cut off his arm. I don't want to watch so I stand up. I think that group saw me when I said; "FATHER?" My dad looked at me. He walked to me, and said; "What are you doing here?" I told him; "What are you doing? I saw everything. Please don't hurt them, or least don't make the man cut of his sons arm. That's cruel!!" He said to his gaurds to watch me, and his best guy took me into my fathers truck. But I saw something; he called the boy to stand up...he said to him you got lucky boy. If my daughter didn't show up; you will be going home with a half of arm. I smiled. I was siting in the truck then I got an idea. I snuck out the truck; I grabbed the knife on the dash. I ran in the woods. When my father and his group left. I followed the other group. I climbed on the roof of the van. I just lied there. When we reached there town. I stayed on top. Until the boy spotted me up top. He said, "Hey you. What are you doing here?" He said when his group look at me. They said, "Come down here?" So I did. I came down. I was really really shy. I was almost behind the camper. So the tall guy said, "Who are you and why are you here?" I said, "I am Tessa! You just met my father." Then he said Agian, "You are the girl, who helped my son." Then the boy said, "Without your help, I would only have one arm... So thanks?" I said, "Your Welcome? " so the boy said again, "and hey Tessa.. I'm Carl, this is my dad Rick, this is Meggie, and he induced me to all of his men." I smiled. It been a long day and I said, " I should head back some how!" So I walked back, but Rick stopped me. He said he was gonna drive me there. I said, "ok!" He drove like half there. Then I will walk back. So I returned back at our camp. My father was worried sick. And I pretty sure I think he killed one of his guy because I left his watch.. If that happen, I'm sorry? My dad sent me to my room. I'm still grounded..because he does want to lose me too, like he lost my mother. So I ran to my room. I sit on my bed, I was hungry but I didn't want to go downstairs. I went to sleep.
