You just set the table for your dinner with Carl. You have been at Alexandria for a six months. Aaron find you hiding in tree, he said that he knew of a safe place away from the walkers. You went with him because your whirl family and boyfriend died from a herd of walkers. Plus you was struck in the tree for hours trying to decide what to do next when Aaron walked up to you. You got there and met the rest of the group and take a liking to Carl.

Rick gave you the house next to his and it was so great to be in Alexandria. You and Carl would hang out everyday in your house. You thought Carl was sweet, kind and didn't think he was a monster with his eye gone. He thought you wouldn't like him with his eye gone. You made him feel like he could be himself around you. That you wasn't going to judge him about his insecurities of his eye.

After a couple weeks of hanging out, Carl asked you to be his girlfriend. And you happily said yes. Carl made you feel happy everyday after learning of losing your boyfriend to the walkers. He told you he has been through so much that he wasn't going to let anything happen to you or him. He told you about what happened from the beginning to losing his eye and he was still here. And he wasn't going to go anywhere any time now.

You two had a nice six months the together and you wanted to celebrate six months of being together. You told Carl that you wanted to do gifts, have a dinner, just the two of you. Carol heard that you wanted a great dinner with Carl. So she offered to made dinner for you and Carl while you got ready. You always has a sweet spot for Carol. She reminds you of your dead mom and agreed to get her help.

Maggie said she would help make you look pretty tonight. You showered and walked into your room. You looked through some of the clothes Maggie and Glenn got you on runs. You told Maggie that you wanted something special for tonight a few days ago. You put on a red girly tank top, short black skirt, and short red heels. Maggie come in and helped curled your hair and put on some make up she find. She was putting on mascara and red lipstick.

"So, are you nervous about tonight?" Maggie asked.

"A little," you answered, sitting on your bed.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Maggie asked, sitting next to you.

"This is the longest relationship I've ever had," you confessed.

"What about your dead boyfriend?" Maggie asked.

"(Y/ex's/N) and I were best friends when we were twelve and after four years having being best friends, he asked me out and I said yes," you explained," Then the walkers happened and we were on the run all the time, so there wasn't really time for dates and spending much time together."

"So, tonight like the first date for you?" Maggie asked, holding your hand.

"Carl and I just mainly read comics, went on walks, plays video games," you answered," This is the first time we are sitting down and having meal just the two of us."

"Well, it's a good thing I told everyone not to disturb you and Carl tonight," Maggie said.

You sighed.

"Are you okay?" Maggie asks.

"I just don't want to mess up any up with Carl," you explained," Carl is the first boy I've really liked since (Y/ex's/N) dead."

"Hey, don't worry about it," Maggie said," Carl's a great guy and you'll make you happy."

"I know," you replied, smiling," He has made my life here pretty great."

"So, what gifts do you get Carl?" Maggie asked.

"Yeah, I think I'll show Carl first what I got," you answered.

"Okay then," Maggie said.

You loved Maggie because she had a way of being nice but also cause fear into people. Maggie was like a sister to you, she always was there for you when you wanted alone time with Carl. When it was close to dinner time, Maggie and Carol both hugged you and said goodbye.

You heard a knock on the door and opened it. You saw Carl in a long sleeve black shirt and blue jeans and had a small bag with him. You thought he looked great tonight. You smiled as you let him in. You two are dinner and talked for a couple of hours. Then you two were sitting on the couch laughing from a joke Carl told you.

"Carl, you're really funny," you said.

"Thanks, I like making you smile and laughed," Carl replied.

"How about we gave each other our gifts?" you asked.

"Okay, I'll do first," Carl answered, giving you the bag.

You reached inside and pulled out a small box with a red ribbon on it.

"I find this a couple of days ago when Daryl, dad and I went on a run," Carl explained," I hope you like it."

You opened it and show a necklace with hands holding two different colors stones shaped heart.

"Oh, Carl, I love it," you said.

Carl put it on you.

"How do you got it?" you asked.

"We find a mall and raid it and it had a jewelry store in it and I saw this and it made me think of you," Carl explained," I got the matching bracelet."

You smiled as he showed the same bracelet. You grabbed your bag and handed it to him.  He pulled at Carl's favorite comics.

"I know that you love reading these superheroes and that was one of the gifts I got for you," you explained.

"You got me another gift?" Carl asked.

"Yes," you said.

"Where is it?" Carl asked.

You stand in front of Carl and lifted your shirt and showed Carl your side. You got a hearts wrapped in curvy lines with Carl's name in the hearts.

"Wow, you got that for me?" Carl asked, touching the tattoo.

"Yeah, Rosita and I find a place that had some tattoo stuff in it and she done it for me," you said," I wanted you to know that I'm yours and only yours."

"That's the sweetest thing anyone has ever did for me," Carl said, pulling you onto his lap and hugged you.

You laughed and kissed Carl. You two had an amazing night together. You also gave Carl your virginity because you felt that you love Carl enough to lose it to him. You was laying on Carl's chest in your bed. He played with your hair as you can't stop smiling.

"Tonight was really great," Carl finally said.

"Yeah," you said, chuckled," Thank you for my gift, I'll treasure it forever."

You touched the necklace and grinned. Since the world ended, no guy has ever got you anything this sweet and caring before. It made you love Carl even more than you already did. You felt so cared for tonight.

"I'll treasure you forever," Carl said.

"You're so cheesy sometimes," you said, laughing.

"I may be cheesy but that doesn't stop me from loving you," Carl said.

Carl sat up and looked at you and said," (Y /N), I love you so much, I don't know what I would do if I don't have you."

Your heart beat faster as Carl confessed his love for you. You always feared loving someone for the fear of losing them. But you fall in love with Carl and you had to tell Carl how you felt. You don't want to regret not telling Carl how much you loved him and him dieing not knowing like your dead boyfriend did. And you don't want to live with regrets in life anymore.

You looked at Carl and said," I love you so much too."

You kissed Carl and fall asleep in his arms. Things was going to be great between you and Carl in the future. The world may have walkers now, but you know that things was going to be okay as long as you had Carl by your side. Carl made your worries go away about being alone in this world. You will never felt alone and sad ever again with Carl around.
