Underground Cave

My POV~

I was in the underground cave while Clem was playing baseball with AJ in the courtyard. I was working on some personal weapons for her. I had just made a Stoeger Side By Side Coach Gun. It looks a lot similar to mine, but Clem's has a Black-Nickel finish. Along with it, I made a pair of Desert Eagle 50AE handguns.

And right now, I was busy working on a Winchester Model 1892 rifle with a large loop on the lever. But I was giving it an upgrade by tapping a machine screw into the trigger guard. So whenever the lever is pumped, the trigger is depressed and the weapon will fire a shot.

Much like my own guns, these beauties fire lasers instead of bullets, and they never have to be reloaded. After this, I'm gonna get busy on a sword for Clementine, and it's gonna be the same way as the Rebellion. But Clem's lightsaber blade is gonna be a different color.

(Meanwhile)

Courtyard

Clementine's POV~

I was out here playing baseball with AJ, and I've never seen him so happy.

"You're pretty good AJ." I said sweetly.

"Thanks Clem. And the same can be said of you." AJ replied.

I laughed before looking back at the gym. I remembered that Garath and I had serious training ahead of us soon. We had just broken the curse last night, but I haven't seen the soul of Thanatos yet. Garath was in the cave, making me some weapons, for he knew I was probably gonna need them.

"So, did you and Garath have fun last night?" AJ asked.

"There was more to it than just enjoyment. It was a requirement." I answered.

"What do you mean?" AJ asked.

"Having sex with Garath was the only way to break a curse that was placed upon him almost 3 years ago. You see, he fought an evil dragon god known as Thanatos. But although Garath won, Thanatos wasn't gonna go down that easy. Before Garath could finish him off, the god put a curse on him by transferring his own soul into Garath's body. That's where his shapeshifting power comes from. But whenever he's angry, Thanatos takes over after Garath transforms, and only I can calm him down." I explained.

"Whoa, that's bad." AJ said.

"Yes. Finding true love was the only way to break the curse, but it wasn't that simple. In order to expel Thanatos from his body, Garath had to have sex with the girl he loved. So far, I haven't seen the dragon god's soul yet, but I know it's not over. Once expelled, the soul of Thanatos will return to its original body and come back to kill whoever broke the curse. But according to what Garath told me, if he and I work together, we can finish off the evil tyrant for good." I replied.

"Well, I wish you good luck. Both of you. Marlon and the others hope you guys can handle Thanatos. During times when Garath transformed before we came here, they've seen what the god can do. Even Minnie was too scared to help him." AJ said.

"Well, I'd better go check on Garath and make sure he's okay." I replied.

I was deeply concerned. For I knew that Thanatos had very dark powers, and I had a feeling that they would surely destroy Garath as soon as the dragon god's soul leaves him.

(Back in the cave)

My POV~

The rifle was finished, and now all that was left was a sword. This sword was once used by a Shinobi warrior known as Ryu Hayabusa. It was called the Dragon Sword.

Within minutes, the sword was complete. I tested the lightsaber blade and it was a success. Clem's lightsaber blade has a black core like mine, but hers is blue instead of purple.

I deactivated the blade and smiled. Soon, Clem would be ready to fight Thanatos by my side. Suddenly, I felt a horrible pain in my chest. I tried to fight it, but my knees buckled. While kneeling on the ground, the soul of Thanatos emerged from my body as it was finally expelled from me.

"This is not over yet, mortal! You will pay for this!" He said angrily, as he flew away.

I held my chest with one hand as I struggled to stand.

'It's alright. My powers will heal you in short order.' Mushu said.

'Thanks Mushu.' I replied.

As soon as I was fully healed, Clementine came down into the cave.

"Garath, are you okay? I saw the soul of Thanatos flying away when I came here." She said.

"Yeah. I'm alright. Mushu was able to counteract the dragon god's dark powers and heal me." I replied.

"Well, at least now we have time to train before Thanatos gets here." Clem said.

"Yes. Your weapons are over there on my workbench." I replied.

Clementine's eyes widened when she saw what I made for her. She took the sword in her hands and admired it. But then, the Dragon Sword was infused with fire and when Clem swung it, she unwittingly sent a wave of blue fire towards me.

I quickly went into a split and ducked as the fire went over me and hit the wall, leaving a big scorch mark.

"Whoa. What was that?" Clem asked.

"That was Cold Fire. But, how can that be?" I replied.

"I don't know. All I know is that while holding this sword, I suddenly felt a strange surge of power coursing through me, and then the sword became infused with fire." Clem said, as she held the sword in her right hand and examined her left hand. All of a sudden, an orb of blue colored lightning crackled in the palm of her hand.

As this happened, Clem's right hand suddenly formed ice.

"That's Thunder. But, I don't understand." I said.

Before I could even think of a possible explanation, a blue portal appeared behind Clementine. A tiger spirit came through and stood behind Clem as the portal vanished into thin air.

"Uh, Clem. There's a tiger behind you." I said.

Clementine turned around and froze.

"Do not worry. I will not hurt you." The tiger said calmly, as she approached Clem.

"Who are you?" I asked defensively, preparing to summon Mushu if the tiger tried to pull a fast one.

"I am Satoko. And I am Clementine's spirit guardian." The tiger answered.

"Okay. So, I have a spirit guardian. But, what about the fire, ice and lightning I just created?" Clementine asked.

"You have powers like your friend. But you must learn to control them." Satoko answered.

"Garath is my boyfriend. But I will admit, I didn't know I had powers like him." Clem said.

"Yes. Perhaps I misunderstood him. He can help you learn to control your powers, but you must hurry. We don't have much time. Thanatos will be here soon, and you are far from ready." Satoko replied.

"I know. But at least now I may have a fighting chance now that I found out that I have powers I can use." Clem said.

"Yes. And you can always summon me to fight by your side, much like Garath does with Mushu. Farewell." Satoko replied, before going into Clem's body which meant only one thing; Satoko was bonding with Clementine, to give her the power to summon the tiger when she is needed.

Now that I learned that Clementine had powers like me, I knew that I had to teach her how to control them, fast. With Thanatos on his way, there was no time to wallow in the mire.

"Leave the guns Clem. We must get ready. Satoko's right. Thanatos will be here soon, and he will not stop until he kills us all. And I hate to say it, but only lightsaber blades and the Dragon Katana can penetrate his hide." I said.

I grabbed the Rebellion, and the Dragon Katana.

After this, Clem and I headed for the training room. I decided to teach Clem how to control her powers, since she knew everything I taught her about shooting, sword fighting and the art of unarmed combat.

"Okay Clem. As we both know, you mastered everything I taught you about marksmanship, sword fighting and the art of unarmed combat. But now, I must teach you how to control your powers. I just wish we could've known about them sooner." I said calmly.

"Yes. We can't let Thanatos take over the world." Clem replied.

Timeskip

I was able to help Clem learn how to control her powers with ease. Since she's a fast learner, Clem was able to master everything I could teach her. She was ready.

"Well done Clem. You have grown strong. Now, you're ready." I said, smiling.

"Ready for what?" Clementine asked.

"You're ready to fight by my side to destroy Thanatos, and protect the world." I answered.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and smiled.

"I couldn't have done it without you. No dragon god is gonna separate us." Clem said, before pressing her lips firmly against my own.

We made out for a few minutes before pulling away.

"Come. I sense that Thanatos is almost here." I said.

"Let's finish this." Clem replied.

We headed out to the courtyard and waited.

A few minutes later, Louis sounded the alarm.

"Guys! There's a dragon headed this way!" He screamed.

Clem and I stood firm as Louis ran up to us.

"Come on. We have to get inside." He said to Clem.

"No. Louis, get everyone inside. Clem and I will take care of this." I replied.

"Have you lost your mind?" He asked.

"It's alright Louis. Today, I just found out that I possess powers like Garath. He helped me learn to control them. With our combined strength, the two of us can handle that dragon." Clem answered.

Louis reluctantly accepted what he just heard.

"Be careful." He said, before running into the school with everyone else.

Thanatos landed outside the gates.

Clem and I leaped over it to meet him.

"Ah, Garath. It has been far too long. And you have a girlfriend now." Thanatos said mockingly.

"This will be the last time we meet, Thanatos. Defend yourself." I replied angrily, as I unsheathed the Rebellion and Dragon Katana.

Thanatos looked at Clem.

"Join me girl, and I will spare you." He said.

"Not a chance, Thanatos. And this time, you won't escape." Clem replied, as she drew the Dragon Sword.

This made Thanatos angry. He spewed a beam of green fire from his mouth, but Clem and I were too fast. We avoided his breath, infused our swords with fire and attacked him. Although we did burn the dragon god, only the Dragon Katana penetrated him.

"Damn! His hide really is thick!" Clem said.

"Activate your lightsaber blade." I replied, as I quickly ignited my purple blade.

Clem ignited her blue blade and we attacked Thanatos mercilessly. During this time, we hit the dragon god with fire, ice and lightning to overwhelm him. Our plan worked, as Thanatos collapsed from a combination of exhaustion and blood loss. I stood in front of him and pointed the Dragon Katana at the god.

"You are under arrest, my lord." I said coldly.

The god seemed too tired to even perform a curse.

"The oppression of the demons will never return! You have lost!" I said.

"No! No! No! You will die!" Thanatos screamed as he spewed green lightning from his mouth.

I was quick to react and managed to block the lightning with both of my blades, reflecting it back onto the dragon god.

Eventually, Thanatos was too weak to fight back and I pointed the Dragon Katana at him, ready to deal the killing blow.

"I am going to end this once and for all!" I said.

"You can't. He must stand trial. There must be a reason why he turned evil." Clem replied.

"He has control of Heaven and Hell! He's too dangerous to be left alive!" I said.

Clem looked saddened. She knew I was right, and you can't control the currents of destiny.

"Do it." She replied.

With that, I leaped into the air, raising both of my blades. As I came close to the dragon god's neck, I swung my swords down and decapitated him, finally killing Thanatos.

"Now, the world is safe." I said proudly, as I sheathed my swords.

"Yes. But I still think you shouldn't have done that. I could sense that there must have been a reason why he was evil." Clem replied sadly.

"I sensed it too Clem. But there wasn't any other choice to make." I said calmly, as I placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Come. Let us rejoice in our triumph. We saved the Earth from a mass destruction. I intended to do it for us. For our children."

Clem smiled.

"You're right. If we're gonna start a family in the future, we must make sure that the world is safe." Clem said.

Unbeknownst to us, Kate was watching.

Kate's POV~

I just witnessed Garath and Clementine triumph over an evil dragon god who turned out to be known as Thanatos. I knew that I would have to be careful if I wanted to get revenge. But, I was able to formulate a plan; hold Clementine hostage and when Garath comes to save her, rape him in front of her and kill them both.
