My POV~

I paced around, thinking hard about Minnie. I needed to go save her. I could no longer live with the guilt of leaving her in the hands of those bastards. I kept myself isolated, to formulate a plan of attack. For I knew that Abel and Lily would surely try to stop me. And with that, I would be forced to work for them again.
I refused to go back to working for those who killed my family. Mother got infected because of them. Abel and Lily threw my mother and sister into the path of a herd of walkers. While I was successful in saving my mother from being eaten alive, I was still too late to save her from being infected while my sister was ripped to shreds by the walkers. After escaping from Delta, my mother gave me the Dragon Katana. This was the time when she said to use it to protect those I love, and that I should start by killing her. It was the only way to save my mother from turning into a walker. Reluctantly, I did as my mother wished, and put her down in order to save her from the infection before she could turn on me. Ever since then, I hated them with a vengeance, and I swore that they would pay for killing my family.

"Garath, are you okay?" Clem asked

"No. I can't go on until I rescue Minnie. And more importantly, I need to avenge my family's death. Abel and Lily, will pay for killing them." I snarled with a sneer.

"What? I thought you killed your mother." Clem said.

"No. I did not murder my mother. It was a mercy kill that I had to make, in order to save her. As you already know, my little sister was ripped apart by the same walkers that infected my mother. In truth, Abel and Lily are responsible for their deaths. While I was busy fighting Delta forces to protect them, a herd of walkers came by. Abel and Lily threw them into the path of the walkers. I managed to get between them and put up an aggressive defense. But despite my efforts, I was too late to save my mother from being infected, and Maggie was eaten alive. After we escaped, that was when mother gave me the Dragon Katana, and told me that I had to kill her in order to save her from turning. Before I did this, she told me to use the sword to protect those I love. Reluctantly, I put my poor mother down, saving her from the virus. Ever since then, I have harbored a massive grudge against Abel and his slut of a wife. And I swore that they would pay for the death of my mother and sister." I explained as I grabbed a red and black wakizashi.

I tied the scabbard to my belt and ran up a staircase that led into the courtyard.
Clem caught up to me, and grabbed my arm as I approached the gate.

"Honey. I know how you feel. But revenge is not the way." She said.

I slowly turned my head and looked at her with a steely gaze.

"I'll be back." I said sharply, as I pulled away and leaped over the gate before running off into the night.

Timeskip: Pier

I made it to the pier, and hid in a bush. There were guards everywhere. One false move, and Minnie would surely be killed.
Then I noticed a dense grove of trees that led to her room, and got an idea.

I climbed into one of the trees and began jumping from branch to branch. Nobody noticed my presence.
As soon as I was in range, I leapt towards Minnie's window and grabbed the windowsill before climbing into the room.
Minnie was in bed, fast asleep. I quietly walked over and woke her up.

"Minnie. Wake up." I whispered.

She awoke, and was startled.

"Take whatever you want Abel, just don't hurt me!" She screamed.

"No Minnie. It's okay. I'm not Abel. And I'm here to rescue you. As I promised." I said calmly, as I stepped into the light of her candle.

Minnie jumped out of her bed and hugged me.

"Garath. You came. Thank goodness you're here. It's been awful. I have been forced to attack Ericson's Boarding School, and in turn, I was being forced to kidnap my own brother." She said sadly.

"It's okay Minnie. They still want you back. But no-one wants you back there more than Tenn." I said.

"Thank you. And by the way, I heard about Clementine. But don't worry, I'm still happy for you." Minnie said.

"Marlon also said he was willing to have you as his girlfriend." I said kindly.

"Well, I accept his feelings. For I did not even know that until now. And, I love him too." Minnie replied.

"You can tell him that when we get back to the school." I said, as I attached a grappling hook to her windowsill and dropped a rope.
Minnie walked to the window and looked back at me.

"What about you?" She asked.

"I'd come with ya, but I still hold out the hope of avenging my family." I answered sadly.

"Really?" A familiar voice said.

It was Lily. Abel was with her and they brought a pair of guards with them.

I quickly put myself between Minnie and her captors before turning to her.

"Run!" I said, urging her to flee.

"Please. Come with me." Minnie pleaded.

"Run to the school, now!" I replied

"Get them!" Lily ordered

Minnie scrambled through the window and slid down the rope as a guard charged and tried to stab me. But I grabbed his hand and broke it before sending him crashing into the wall with a Jump Spinning Back Kick.

The other guard ran at me, but I grabbed his arm, broke his leg and smashed him into the wall, leaving him stuck in it.

"Your little girlfriend won't get away." Abel said smugly, as he stepped up to fight me.

He had a crowbar, but I was unintimidated and drew my wakizashi with my left hand. Abel swung his weapon, but I blocked his attack and kicked him in the ribs. We clashed weapons until Abel eventually hit me in the head. But I did not stumble. I looked back at him and smirked.

"Now you've asked for it." I hissed, as I raised my right fist into the air before punching the ground. A blue portal appeared behind me, and Mushu came through.

We charged at Abel and Lily as they looked at him in surprise.

"What!?" Lily asked, astounded.

Suddenly, Mushu hit Abel in the chest with a very hard punch and sent him flying into Lily, who bounced down the hall before Mushu vanished into thin air.
I sheathed my sword, grabbed Abel and took him up to the roof, leaving Lily unconscious.

"Why are you kidnapping my friends?!" I demanded.

"I'll say it louder then. Get fucked." He said.

"Loyalty is very touching, but it is not the most important thing in your life right now! But what is important is gravity!" I said, as I held him over a deep swamp by his left ankle with my left hand.

"I have to remind you, Abel; this is my weak arm!" I added as I patted my bicep with my right hand.

"Wait! I can tell you why we're kidnapping your friends!" Abel pleaded

"Why?" I asked

"We need them. We're fighting another group called Echo. And we need you and your friends to help us!" Abel explained

"But you won't." I said.

"Why not?" Abel asked

"Because I already wiped those guys out." I answered.

Abel panicked as I still held him over the swamp.

"Remember Abel, when I promised to kill you last?" I asked

"That's right Garath! You did!" Abel answered.

"I lied." I said coldly, before dropping him.

"YOU LIED!?" Abel screamed as he fell into the swamp.

When he came up to the surface, an enormous alligator emerged from the depths and devoured him. Her name was Susie.

"No!" Lily screamed.

I turned around, and saw her running towards me with a knife.

"You'll pay for that you bastard!" She yelled.

But I caught Lily by the throat and turned back towards the swamp where Susie was waiting. I held her throat tightly and dangled her over the water.

"Let off some steam, Bennett." I said, before dropping Lily into the water where she suffered the same fate as her husband.

After eating Lily, Susie sank back into the depths of the swamp.

"Mother, Maggie, I have avenged you." I said smiling, as I looked up at the stars.

I ran to the other side of the roof and jumped down, landing next to Minnie.

"You're okay." She said happily.

"Of course. I wasn't gonna leave without avenging my family." I replied.

"What did you do with Abel and Lily?" Minnie asked

"I let them go." I answered, as we ran back to the school.

Unbeknownst to either of us, someone was watching. And she was angry to see what I had done to her parents.

Timeskip: Ericson's Boarding School

My POV

Minnie and I arrived at the school, and I saw Clementine and the others waiting for us.

I walked up to the gate with Minnie in tow.

"I'm back." I said.

Louis opened the gate and we walked in.
Minnie ran to her brother and hugged him, while I got the same greeting from Clem.

"How do you always survive these kinds of situations?" She asked.

"When you're surviving on your own for almost 8 years, you pick up a thing or two." I answered

"By the way Clem, I know you're Garath's girlfriend. But don't worry, I'll just go with Marlon. I mean, until Garath came to save me, I didn't know Marlon was in love with me." Minnie said.

"Wait. You mean, you want to be my girlfriend?" Marlon asked.

"Yes Marlon. Until today, I didn't know you loved me. But now I realize that my heart truly belongs to you. And as long as Garath is happy, I'm happy." Minnie answered.

Marlon said nothing, but Minnie proved her point by making out with him.
