Preview of Season 5 Part 1

Episode 1

We started making weapons in the train car. We were going to get out of this one way or another. Rick told us to go for the eyes then the throats of our captors. Then they dropped a smoke bomb in and everything went black. When I woke up, everything was blurry. As my vision cleared, I could see Carl above me, trying to wake me up. I finally sit up then we hugged and he kissed my cheek. Then I noticed that everyone was in the train car except for Bob, Rick, Daryl, and Glenn.

"Where are the others?" I asked.

"They took them inside," Carl answered.

I was speechless as he helped me up. We kept working on getting weapons prepared and trying to escape until we felt the earth shake. Carl assured us that the others would be back and Maggie agreed and urged us to keep doing so. As we did, I heard walkers throughout Terminus. I found a strip of metal that was loose. I was able to yank it off and the little jagged pieces made it look like a saw. Then Sasha asked what the cure was, and even though Eugene said it was classified, he gave us a little description of what he did for a living. Then Rick opened the doors and we ran for the fences, fighting our way through. We made it over the fence and ran where the guns were buried. Rick wanted to take out all the people, but everyone said there was no need to. Then Carol came up to us all dirty and with Daryl's crossbow. Daryl was the first to hug her then Rick. Turns out she was the one who blew the place up. She took us to Tyreese and Judith. Rick, Carl, and I ran up to them and hugged and kissed her. We also hugged Tyreese. We had to move on so we did. I approached Carl, who was holding Judith.

"You were right," he remarked.

"I do like hearing that, but can I ask why?" I smirked.

He chuckled and said, "You were right that Judith was alive. I should've listened to you."

"Well, she is a lil' ass kicker," I replied.

He laughed a little then we kissed again. We escaped a cannibalistic community and no one was going to stop us no matter what.

Episode 2

The group stopped to rest for a little while. Carl was feeding Judith and I smiled at the sight. Man I really love this guy. Then we walked more until nightfall. I sang "Once Upon a December" softly for Judith to fall asleep in my arms while Carl listened. As I sang, I saw Carl smiling at me and I smiled back. We fell asleep, even though everyone heard something in the woods.

The next morning, we kept moving until Carl told everyone to follow him. We ran to find this guy on a rock, trying to get away from three walkers. He looked like he was a preacher. When he got down, he threw up. His name was Father Gabriel.

'How did this guy make it through this apocalypse?' I thought.

Rick asked him the three famous questions and by the answers, this guy was an absolute marshmallow. He led us to his church. I held Judith as we walked there. When we made it, Rick and some others checked the place to make sure there weren't any traps. They came back and we went inside. I gave Judith to Carl. Then Rick needed to talk to him, so he gave me Judith and kissed me while I went to change her diapers. Tyreese gave me the bag and I changed her. I picked her up and held her in my arms, but I remembered my parents telling me how they did this to me, held me in their arms and swayed back and forth. I cried as I buried my head into Judith's neck.

"Are you okay?" I heard Carl say.

I sniffled and wiped my tears, replying, "Yeah. I just remembered something."

"What was it?" he asked.

"My parents told me how after they changed my diapers, they would hold me and sway back and forth, like we were dancing. Now I know how they felt when I did it to Judith just now," I explained.

"Your parents would be proud of you, Jamie. I know I am and Dad is too," Carl comforted.

"Thanks. Where are Rick and the others?" I asked as we went to give Judith to Tyreese.

"Dad went with Gabriel, Sasha, Bob, and Michonne to look around the area he mentioned where supplies would be while Carol, Daryl, Tara, Maggie, and Glenn went to scavenge. You wanna go outside and keep watch?" Carl suggested.

"Sure," I answered.

I gave Judith to Tyreese, grabbed my gun and machete, and headed outside. We looked around then I found these scratches. I called Carl over and showed him. When Rick came back, we showed him the scratches.

That night, we had a feast and Abraham proposed a toast. Then he and Eugene explained how D.C. was our best chance. There had to be a cure. Then Rick said that Judith was in and if she was, he was. We all agreed. I went with Carl to the back of the church. Before I could ask what he was doing, he pulled me in for a kiss. We were sitting on the pew then next thing you know, I was on top of him and we were on the floor. He pinned me to the ground and kissed my neck. I breathed heavily then let out a little gasp when he found my sweet spot. He looked back at me and smirked. I smirked back then crashed my lips onto his. He put his hand on my neck as we shifted on our sides. When we finished, I smiled and he did the same to me.

"I love you so much, Jamie," he said.

"I love you too," I responded.

When we got back up, we hugged and kissed. Little did we know the danger outside that wasn't the undead.

Episode 3

For some reason, Bob has been gone for a while. Sasha went to look for him and Tyreese and Rick followed her. They came back and questioned Gabriel about what was going on. He said how there was this group who begged for him to let them in when this started. But he didn't and they suffered. The remaining group must still be after him. Then Glenn said someone was lying on the grass outside and it was Bob, but his left leg was missing. He said it was Gareth and some of his group. He also showed us he was bitten. Tyreese helped him in the office on the couch. They were at an elementary school. Carl took Judith to comfort her since when she was crying. Then Abraham was saying that they needed to go to D.C., but we couldn't since it was night. They still tried to leave anyway, then Glenn said that if they stayed to help, Tara, Glenn, and Maggie would go with them and Abraham agreed. Some were leaving to go to the elementary school while the rest of us stayed behind to look after Bob and Judith. Then we heard someone trying to break in. It was Gareth and some of the Terminus group. We were in the office, so Carl and I got our guns ready. We heard them talking, saying that they knew who was here because they were watching us. He called our names and when he called mine, I reached for my machete. They jiggled the door handle and prepared their guns.

"That psycho just won't stop," I whispered.

"Got that right," Carl whispered back.

Then Judith cried and we tried to calm her down. Then when we were about to fire, we heard Rick and the others. Gareth told him how they survived before cannibalism took place. But they were dead and Rick killed Gareth with a machete that had a red handle.

The next morning, we had to say our goodbyes to Bob. Then he asked for Rick and Judith to stay while the rest of us left the room. Carl and I sat on the stairs.

"You okay?" Carl wondered.

"Yeah. If Rick hadn't shown up, I would've killed the guy myself," I replied.

"I wouldn't doubt it, but what if he killed you?" he asked.

"Then I would've died for the ones I love. I would lay down my life for this group. I would do it for you," I answered.

"I would do the same for you too," Carl responded.

Rick came back and handed Judith to Carl. We heard Bob died and we buried him. Abraham, Eugene, Rosita, Glenn, Maggie, and Tara were off to D.C.

That night, Michonne took watch and Gabriel went out to talk with her. I slept with Carl, his arm around my waist, my hand resting on his chest, and my head in the crook of his neck. I woke up to the sounds of voices. I saw Michonne talking to Daryl, but Carol wasn't there. What happened to her? I went back to sleep in Carl's arms.

Episode 4

When I woke up, my thoughts wondered to where Beth and Carol were. It didn't make any sense that they would just disappear. They're both strong women who can take on this world for what it is. How can they be gone?
