Three. The first day first party.

Julia was in room trying a dress for party when her phone buzzed with a new message and she picked up the phone to see the text and it was her father and without reading it she tossed her phone aside to bed not wanting to ruin her mood  the last thing she wanted to think about was her dad especially not the night of the party.

As she closed her eyes the memory of her finding out her dad..no father was cheating on her mom was still fresh in her mind her coming back from her classes early and walked in on her dad kissing other blonde lady same as her mom age and instead of sorry her father shouted at her like always.

She snapped out of her thoughts and picked up the shirt and went for a changed. The time passed by as the party was in full swing by the time alice and julia arrived the music was blasting lights all around and the campers where either dancing or playing julia felt a flutter of nerves in her stomach due to reason that she wasn't really one for parties and being surrounded by so many people made her feel but overwhelmed meanwhile alice on other hand was happy and was in her element 

"So welcome to camp pinewood first day bonfire party, music games dancing and eating food" alice explained "I see" she nodded as Alice give her fruity punch "okay so I need to check on food and kids and i promise i come soon" alice said as julia nodded 

After alice left julia sitting near bonfire sipping on fruity punch and watching other people dancing or talking and she was finding someone to talk to buy then she felt a hand on shoulder and she looked up to see ethan standing next to her with a friendly smile 

"Mind if I join you?" he asked, gesturing to the spot next to her. Julia shrugged, feeling a strange mixture of nerves and curiosity. "Sure, have a seat." She shuffled over to make room for him, feeling her heart beat just a little faster as he sat down beside her.

As both of them was quite for a while watching the flame burn "So, how do you like the party so far?" Ethan asked suddenly, breaking the silence. Julia shrugged, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "It's okay, I guess. Not really my scene." She took another sip of punch, feeling the alcohol starting to loosen her up a little

Ethan nodded, a small grin playing on his lips. "Yeah, I get that. But you gotta let loose sometimes, ya know? Life isn't always about being serious." Julia raised an eyebrow, feeling a spark of defiance. "And what makes you think I'm so serious all the time?"

Ethan laughed, a low, husky sound that sent shivers down julia's spine. "Just a hunch," he said softly. "You've got this serious, intense look about you. But I have a feeling there's more to you than meets the eye."

"Who puts whole spice on orange juice it's a crime" alice told Caleb "as I said I was pranking" Caleb said as Alice and ethan looking at him "they two are each other throats" julia said as Ethan chuckled, watching bickering. "Yeah, they're always like that. Those two are like fire and ice. They can't be in the same room without arguing."

"How is your relationship between you and your brother" julia asked as his expression soften "He's a good guy, even if he can be a pain in the ass sometimes. We're close, even though we've got different personalities. He's more outgoing and carefree, while I'm more serious and reserved. But we balance each other out, I think."

"So you serious one as well" julia smile as ethan cracked a smile "well that's what my mom said but I know she aren't true" ethan said as Julia nodded "well got to go and refill my drink bye" julia said as she got up and went and she couldn't help but steal a glance back at ethan he watched her go with a amused smile as if he knew what she was thinking causing her heart to flutter at the sight of him and she quickly turn her attention back to table 

Meanwhile ethan sitting beside by a fire and marcus and alex approached teasing him with knowing grins 

"Looks like someone's got a little crush," Marcus joked, nudging Ethan's shoulder. Ethan rolled his eyes, trying to play it cool. "Shut up, man. I don't have a crush." 

Alex raised a eye brow and a smirk on his face "Oh yeah? Then why were you sitting so close to her and staring at her like you could eat her up?" Ethan felt his cheeks heat up at the accusation, but he tried to brush it off. "I was just being friendly, that's all."

"Friendly my ass" 

The music stopped as julia keeping her drink down to look up to see maya in her black jacket and short "The supirse is about to start"  maya shouted over microphone as Alice cover her ears and Caleb rubbing his ear due to both bearing near the speaker as everyone about to gather around julia took her drink and was going to loction.

As she was sipping on her punch, feeling a bit woozy from the alcohol. As she tried to stand up properly she suddenly felt a wave of dizziness wash over her. She stumbled, dropping her cup and falling to the ground with a thud. Everything went black as she passed out, her eyes closing as she slipped into unconsciousness.

As the camp counselors approached julia and they all where shocked as ethan dropped down beside her his hand on her wrist "julia, julia are you okay?" Ethan said patting her cheeks lightly 

"yeah and how she gonna respond using magic" Caleb said to his brother as ethan glare at him "Caleb, shut up. Now is not the time for your jokes. We need to check if she's breathing or if she hit her head." Alice also beside him took checked up "she is breathing but looks like someone mixed something in punch" Alice said

As everyone looked at alice with shock and horror "Wait, what? Are you saying someone drugged her punch? Who would do something like that?" Ethan demanded, his voice shaking with anger. "Okay who brought drugs" marcus said out loud to everyone 

"calm down tiger let's take her to room" Alice said Ethan nodded, still furious, and carefully lifted julia off the ground. The other followed him expect maya and marcus taking care of campers as the supirse is not going to come front as ethan carried her back to her room, their faces filled with concern and anger. Once they reached the room, Ethan laid Lisa on the bed, gently smoothing back her hair.

The next day julia woke up and saw alice looking at her bitting her nails "why you looking at me as I am serial killer" julia asked causing alice face to crack into wide grim. "Morning, sleepyhead," she teased, her voice filled with amusement. "You had us all worried last night, you know."

As julia goan rubbing her head as she tried to remeber what had happened as the memories  came  flooding back eyes widen in shock

"Someone spiked my drink?" she asked incredulously. Alice nodded her expression serious 

"Yeah, looks like it. It's a good thing Ethan got you out of there before anything worse happened. He was ready to tear that place down looking for who hurt you." Alice words made julia felt a twinge of warmth in her chest at the mention of Ethan, but she quickly pushed the feeling aside.

As julia tried to sit up she winched her head was throbbing "ugh, I feel like someone hit me with a truck," she grumbled.

As Alice let out a chuckle "Well, that's what happens when someone spikes your drink. You're lucky you didn't get roofied or something worse." Julia nodded, grateful that things hadn't been worse. The thought of what could have happened made her stomach churn.
