Authors note: I felt like this would work best as an How they react for each member of the Volturi. I know I should've run this by you before writing but here we are. Also, if anyone is uncomfortable with the mentions of self-harm please avoid this chapter. 

How They React to your self-harm scars:

Alec:

    - Alec and you were laying in bed as per your usual Saturday night routine. He was hold your hand that rested on his chest, slowly running his thumb over your wrist when he felt them. At first he didn't know what they were until he felt multiple and knew immediately. He sat up, startling you in the process as he took both of your wrists into his hands and saw your scars. 

   - "Promise me you'll never do this again..." is all he says before kissing each of your wrist.

Aro:

   - Perks of being a mind reader: No one can hide anything from you. Cons: Sometimes you find out things you really wish you never knew.

   - Aro knew from the first moment he touched you, because of that he did everything in his power to make sure you didn't have access to anything sharp that could hurt you again.

   - He doesn't say anything, playing oblivious but he makes it a point to check in on you more often, letting you know he's always there for you so you don't relapse and fall back into the habit of harming yourself.

Caius:

   - Caius and you have had talks about, well, everything and your past of self-harming was one of those conversations. It wasn't a pleasant thing to discuss but Caius doesn't blame you or brings it up.

   - He knows how much you hate your scars so he decides to help you hide them. He draws and creates tattoos that blend perfectly to hide each individual slash that mars your skin. Before you know it you have beautifully created artwork adorning your skin more.

Demetri:

   - You didn't have the scars on your arms or wrists, instead you opted for using your thighs as the canvas, so imagine Demetri's surprise when things are getting hot and heavy for the first time since y'all started dating and he feels tiny razor created scars of the flesh of your thighs. 

   - You begin to think the evening is ruined but imagine your amazement when Demetri begins to show you all the scars on his body. "We're both stronger than whatever tried to break us."

Jane:

   - You always felt like you lacked control in your life. Everything was planned out by your parents, grandparents, and even romantic partners. The only thing you ever felt in control of was when you would take the blade to your body. It lead to some problems, like one day you cutting too deep and needing to go the hospital.

   - Jane found out of course, much to your dismay, but she let you in on a little secret. When she was human growing up in that little village that viewed her as nothing more than a monster, she too would harm herself to feel some sort of control.

   - Now anytime you feel your life spiraling out of control you have Jane to turn to.

Felix: 

   - Felix understood you struggled with a lot. You had problems with your bodies image, you felt out of control, you were always stressed about something to the point of making yourself sick. Not once did he complain or try to be the savior for all your problems but that changed when he came home early to see you hurting yourself.

   - At his insists and with his support you're now in therapy and able to talk about your problems and get the help you need. He's always there when you need him to be though.

Marcus:

   - Marcus, at first, mistakes your self-harm as you wanting to end your own life, so he tells you about the first couple of centuries when he lost Didyme. He leaves nothing out, explaining how he tried multiple times to end his own life.

   - You let him talk, but after he's done you explain that you're not trying to do what he did and explain your reasons behind your self-harm. 

   - Together you're working through everything. But you should be warned that Marcus does check you weekly to make sure there on no fresh wounds as you both work your way to recovery.
