The Beginnings Of Two
Lucky hummed to herself as she walked back to the dorm room. Shortly after all of the girls had accepted the news they all headed back to their rooms. Lucky's hair swished as she walked with a little spring to her step, she had a grin, which earned strange looks from other girls leaving their rooms, after all this was the girl's wing.
Lucky saw Alice facing a large window in the dorm hallway - the dorm itself was a whole different building and it was made to replicate a rich-looking apartment building - the tall girl had a look on her face, her deep blue eyes reflecting deep thoughts. Her arms lightly crossed over her chest. Lucky's grin ( if possible ) grew in size as she trotted up to Alice "Hey Alice!" she greeted cheerfully, attracting some attention.
Alice blinked and appeared slightly surprised as she scanned Lucky as the other girl approached "Hello." Alice greeted gently. Lucky waved and stood beside the black haired girl "What are you doing here?" she asked innocently, Alice stared at her for a moment "Ah, I like to stand here sometimes to think." Alice responded absentmindedly, resuming her star gazing.
Lucky's expression turned serene "Yea, that sounds really fun!" the blonde girl chirped "I'm not sure I would call it fun..." Alice pointed out quietly. Lucky pursed her lips "Then why do you do it?" she asked curiously. Alice's gaze remained on the large window, she appeared ethereal "Thinking about things is a good way to be able to do things better, like improving my dancing." Alice explained. Lucky brightened at the mention of dancing "What kind of dancing do you like best?" Lucky asked eagerly "I have dabbled in all sorts of dance, after all in Radiance academy that is required, though I like ballet the most." Alice replied calmly. Lucky hummed in agreement "Yea," she started "I'm not great at dancing... I'm kind of clumsy." Lucky finished sheepishly. Alice looked over, breaking her trance "Perhaps, but you have a real talent for singing." Lucky looked confused, Alice quickly added "I heard you earlier in the dance room."
Lucky smiled at the praise, she got the sense Alice rarely gave out praise, let alone talked to people. She figured the girl must be lonely.
"Ah, I have to go... This talk has been," Alice paused, appearing confused "Pleasant." she finished. Lucky grinned and gave her a thumbs-up "Yep! It was fun talking to you!"
Lucky then turned and ran off to her dorm room.
She didn't notice the confused yet happy look on Alice's face.
