You were young,
 confused,
and unknowledgeable
new occupation God through at you.
I now get it,
trust me I do.
With no vacations,
sick days,
and tons of over time;
I'm surprise mom's don't go crazy.

Teachers
Seamstresses
Coaches
Doctors
Therapist
Police
Judges
Maids
Chefs
Plumbers
Fashion coordinators
Family photographers
Their first best friend
And so much more...
Giving our everything
with no appreciation at all times.
Shedding blood and tears
Losing sleep and most times bites to eat.
But I understand now
this job called MOM
It's not a walk in the park
It's far from the fantasy
you once dream of in your youth,
but when you see that little hand reach for yours.
Or hear that tiny voice call out to you.
Maybe even when you get that big hug from tiny little arms
that say 'I love you'.
You realize
that no matter how hard it is
this thing called MOM
is the best job you've ever had in your whole existence.
You may not be mom of the year,
but you tried and that all that can be asked of you
