To take it by the hand and lead it towards the light
How do you stop its tears?
To show it how to smile even in the darkest of times
How do stop their pain
Show them that the hurt is only for a moment
What should you do when they fall so deep into the dark hole beneath them and look as if they are drowning

What can you do to prove to them that at the end of every storm cloud is a rainbow

That no matter what they feel and are going through they do NOT stand alone

A small light just for them to use
That all they have to do is reach for your hand

Be there for them at any time
Listen with not judgmental ears
But an open heart
