"MY OWN DAUGHTER!" Johnny cried as he watched Hayley gather her things for her internship with Endeavor, "I feel so betrayed!!" Diane rolled her eyes, "You heard Shota, we can train her any time but this is an opportunity for her to gain experience from other pro-heroes." Diane pat her husbands shoulder, "Come on dad, I basically live here, you can train me next weekend? Father-daughter date?" Hayley pouted causing her dad to give in, "Oh sure! Just so you know! I taught Enji quite a few things!" Diane rolled her eyes, "I'm sure you did dad..." Johnny stood up, "It's true! We were good friends growing up!" Hayley smirked, "I'd be sure to ask hi for all the gory details."

Knock Knock

"That's probably Shoto! We're walking to the station together" Hayley rushed to the door, "Hey Shot- uh, Katsuki? What are you doing here?" Hayley felt her ears get hot. "Tch isn't obvious Blondie!? We need to go to the station, and knowing you and your sense of direction I had to come save your ass!!" Diane stepped in behind Hayley, "Oh hello, Katsuki! " Diane then looked between the two, "Hayley, where is your friend Shoto? Will you three be going together?" Katsuki stiffened, "yeah, he should be here soon." Diane nodded, "Well, I'm off to the agency. Goodluck you two and watch your backs, this is the real world." Diane ruffled Katsuki's hair and kissed Hayley before getting on her motorcycle and racing off.

"What the hell is Icyhot doing walking you to the station!!?" Katsuki growled. Hayley was confused, So he'll talk to me about Shoto but not about the kiss? Very well....

"Well, I'm interning at Endeavor's agency and so is he. We found that travelling together would be best." Hayley hissed, "Why the hell did you take his old mans!? You could have gone with Gang Orca or, or Best Jeanist!?" Katsuki clenched his teeth, "You didn't have to go with him..." Hayley sighed, "Katsuki, I can learn from my father anytime and Endeavor would be able to help me develop my fire quirk, I mean he is the number 2 pro hero and if you had an offer from him you would have taken it, so I don't see the issue?" Katsuki grabbed Hayaley's collar, "Don't you see!? You're gonna be alone with damn Icyhot for a week and we won't- Uh um..." Katsuki blushed, he had basically just thrown his jealous side out for Hayley to see. The girl stood with her face flushed, "Katsuki, I don't understand why you have an issue with Shoto, He's my friend and I look forward to working with him." Hayley took a deep breath, "And besides... you know how I feel... about you..." Hayley looked away, Katsuki glared at the girl, "I'm sorry that I made things so awkward between us... but it be nice to have an answer..." Hayley stared into his red eyes, "It doesn't have to be now... but soon" Katsuki nodded I like you too you idiot!

The two stood in silence before someone cleared their throat, "Oh! Hey Shoto!" Hayley smiled, "Good Morning Hayley, Bakugou." Katsuki growled at the boy, "Whatever! Lets fucken get to the station!"

Katsuki stomped in front of Hayley and Shoto while the two discussed their quirks.

"I have recently found out I am able to absorb fire and use it to build up lost energy. I can also conjure small flames but they seem to take up a lot of my energy, so I'm hoping Endeavor can help me achieve that move I did at the sports festival as I have nooo idea how I got that right." Hayley had the notebook that Izuku and Jake had put together with her training. Katsuki's eyes widened at how Hayley had developed her heat quirk and felt slightly hurt that he wasn't there to help her... "Tch... damn Deku..." Katsuki muttered under his breath.

Once the students were at the station, Aizawa made sure everyone had their costumes and that they knew they were not to wear it in public unless authorised by the pro-hero.

Hayley greeted her friends before standing before Katsuki, "Don't be an idiot and look after yourself." Hayley teased. Katsuki fumed as tiny explosions filled his palms, "Watch it, you shitty girl! You're the one who will be causing trouble!" Hayley winked at him, Katsuki's eyes met Shoto's behind Hayley. A threatening glared filled both pairs as the boys stared each other down. Hayley turned to follow Shoto waving over her shoulder, "See you in a week Katsuki!"

"Oi... Blondie..."

Katsuki pulled Hayley back and turned her to face him, Shoto raised his brow as Katsuki didn't break eye contact. "Be careful..." Katsuki pressed his lips against her cheek before making his way to his own train. Hayley was a blushing mess as her hand travelled to her cheek, He just kissed me... and walked off... What's with this guy running away!?!

"Hayley, are you okay?" Shoto placed a cooling hand on the girls shoulder to keep her calm,

"Y-yes! let's go!!!"

Endeavor's agency was huge! The amount of side-kicks and students that were contracted to Endeavor was endless, "Wow... Way bigger than My dad's agency.." Hayley mumbled. Shoto walked with his head held as some of the side-kicks bowed their heads in respect. The duo walked down a hall with frames with news articles, One in particular caught Hayley's eyes.

"Blazing Boys save the village from Volcanic eruption! Newbie heroes, The Human Torch and Endeavor save countless lives as they use their quirks of fire and flame to outshine the deadly lava!"

Below the headline was a photo of Hayley's father and Endeavor standing back to back with large grins, "Uh Shoto?" The boy stopped and stared at the article, "That's my Dad..." Shoto nodded, "And Mine..." Hayley nodded, "Your dad's smile..." Hayley tilted her head, "It's nice." Shoto stiffened, "But your's is better, never stop smiling." Shoto's cheeks were pushed up by Hayley's thumbs, the boy gasped at the sudden contact blushing. Hayley's bright smile caused the boy to smile himself, "Come on let's go, he's waiting for us." Shoto took Hayley's hand and led her to Endeavor's office.

The large wooden doors opened to Endeavor's office as Shoto walked in and Hayley followed closely.

"Ah, Shoto! You're finally here." Endeavor stood from his desk and Hayley stepped beside Shoto bowing slightly, "And of course, the lovely Miss Storm. Welcome to my agency, I trust you find all you need for the internship in your quarters." Hayley nodded, "Thank you for the opportunity to train and learn from you Endeavor, I look forward to it." The man nodded as he turned to Shoto, "It seems you are finally ready to follow the path of the mighty, huh?" Endeavor gazed at his son, "I have no intention of going down the path you made, I will make my own path" Endeavor's flames raised slightly, "Oh well, you two should get ready, we're going out." Hayley stiffened, "Where to?" Shoto raised his brow, "Out, I'm going to show the both of you what a hero is." The students nodded and were to go change into their hero suits, "Miss Storm, a word if you don't mind?" Hayley smiled, "Of course!" Shoto remained behind for the conversation, "Alone..." Endeavor added. Shoto narrowed his eyes, "It's okay Shoto, I'll catch up with you." Hayley reassured her friend.

Shoto nodded and left, "Miss Storm, I'll only keep you for a few minutes, I'm just interested to know why you took my offer, I'm sure you had a large variety of choices." Endeavor gestured for Hayley to sit down, "Oh, of course. You see, I have basically mastered my mother's side of my quirk with training from my mother and grandfather, but my father's quirk actually only fully manifested at the festival. I've never experienced that before, but I know my father will be able to train me after school and going forward, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity of perhaps learning different skills from the number 2 hero. I look forward to it." Hayley smiled, "Of course, after our patrol, you and Shoto will join me in the training room and I will have a few of my side-kicks spar against you. You may leave." Hayley bowed before skipping out.

She has your spirit, Jonathan... You must be proud...

Training had gone well. Shoto and Hayley were tasked as a team to defend themselves against the side-kicks and Shoto had only used his left side which even made Hayley's training better as she didn't use her mother's quirk once.

"H-hey Shoto?" Hayley stood with her back against the boy, "How about we make this more fun?" Shoto blasted a stream of fire towards the "Villains" Hayley rolled over Shoto's back and absorbed the fire from the blasts, "Why would we make training fun?" Hayley smirked, "Whoever can take out the most side-kicks wins and the loser pays for dinner?" Shoto grabbed Hayley's wrist, "Can we have Soba?" The boys face was dead serious, "If you win, yes!" Hayley swung under through his legs and took out 3 side-kicks, "I have 3!" Shoto stood silently,

"I want Soba..."

Suddenly the whole room was covered in ice. Hayley's legs were frozen and everyone else solid. Shoto walked over to her and melted the ice. Hayley pouted and looked away.

"I Win."

The sound of slurping filled Hayley's ers as Shoto enjoyed his soba, "You weren't suppose to use your ice quirk." Hayley bitterly muttered. Shoto slurped up his noodles, "You didn't specify..." The boy nudged his bowl forward, "Would you care for some?" Hayley smiled, "Thanks, but I'll stick to my curry..."

There was an odd silence between the two as they continued to eat, "May I ask what is the terms of yours and Bakugou's relationship?" Choked, "Excuse me?" Shoto patted Hayley's back, "I presume you two are close considering he kissed you at the station, apologies if I'm overstepping the boundaries." Hayley shook her head, "No, It's okay... I just didn't expect that type of question right now." Shoto nodded for her to continue, "You see, Katsuki, Izuku and I have known each other since we were kids. But recently, I've felt different things towards him."

"What kind of things?"

"Well... my heart would race if he was too close. I couldn't stop thinking about him and I enjoyed spending time with him. The more time we spent together, the more I confirmed the suspicion that I had feelings for him." Hayley's breath slowed down, "I confessed and kissed him but he never returned my feelings, so I guess he doesn't feel the same. So I believe it's better not to linger on that and just move on until he tells me how he truly feels."

"But didn't the kiss at the station confirm this?" Shoto sat confused, "Not really, but enough of that! We need to go! We're going on another patrol with Endeavor tonight!" Hayley stood and rushed off to get ready.

"BLACK SIREN!!! TO MY SIDE!!" Endeavor yelled as the Nomu's crawled out from all over the city, "Yes Sir!"

Hayley rushed over to the flame hero while taking out a nomu with her strength. Shoto had rushed off to the location that they both received from Izuku, and she was worried.

A nomu with wings had swooped down and captured a civilian, Hayley ran as fast as she could towards Endeavor,

"Endeavor! Throw me at nomu!" Hayley dove towards the hero, he caught her upper arm and ankle before spinning 3 times and tossing her in the air at the nomu. Hayley removed her katana and sliced the nomu's arms, releasing the civilian. Endeavor's side-kicks had caught the civilian but the nomu wanted more. It spun around and screeched in pain, Hayley forced herself to flip around in mid-air before releasing a sonic scream.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hayley landed gracefully, the nomu had been dealt with,

The sonic waves were so high it caused the Nomu's flesh to boil and then burst. As the pieces fell to the floor, Endeavor incinerated them. But the flames from Endeavor were too powerful and were going to harm more civilians that were trying to evacuate! Hayley extended her arms, she had never absorbed so much but there were lives at risk! As she absorbed the flames, Hayley's arms felt as if they were on fire. But what surprised her, even more, was the fact that her veins began to glow a bright red. The sensation ran up her arms and caused her eyes to glow, blurring her vision but her hearing was at its peak. Hayley could sense another Nomu approaching from behind Endeavor and with one swift movement, she blasted a large stream of fire at it. Hayley's body returned to normal but her wrist was in pain. The large hero nodded approvingly towards Hayley, "Black Siren! Go to the location Shoto had given you and do not hesitate to take actions to defend yourself!" Endeavor blasted off in the direction of the nomu, "Yes Sir!"

In the alleyway were 4 sources. Hayley identified Izuku, Shoto and Iida but she couldn't figure out the other two. Sticking to the shadows Hayley crept up behind the closest heat source. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, I hope this works Izuku...

"If you can hear me Shoto, raise your right shoulder... I need you to tell everyone to cover their ears..." Hayley whispered as softly as she could, focusing her energy on Shoto's form. When the boy raised his shoulder Hayley rushed in.

"Cover your Ears!" Shoto yelled, no one hesitated and Stain was caught off guard at the loud screech,

GEEETAAWWWWAAAAAYYYYYYFFFFRRRROOOOMMMMMTTTTHHHHEEEEEMMMM!!!!!!!!

Stain was forced back against the wall. Shoto acted quickly by using his ice to freeze the hero killer, but his movements were a second too slow.

"More heroes... You're eyes tell the story of great bravery but I will end you." The hero killer shot a dagger at Hayley but she caught the dagger at the handle and flung it back, grazing the Hero killer's cheek. The two stood in a firm stance staring one another down,

"HaL- B-Black siren! Don't let his blade cut you, his quirk is to immobilise you with your own blood!!!" Izuku yelled, Hayley, nodded slightly.

"I will taste your blood, and kill you before your allies..." The hero killer rushed towards Hayley, he swung his katana at her but failed at each slice. Hayley flipped back onto her hands and kick Stain with hard force under the chin, when she regained her stance she removed her own Katana from its sheath. "Do you know how to use that blade hero?" Hayley grasped her katana with both hands, "I've known blades since I could walk, I'll be sure to slice you with your own steel!!" Stain shot out 6 daggers. Hayley managed to deflect each and every one of them, but she didn't see the 7th dagger that bounced off the wall and sliced her neck. Stain rushed forward and gripped Hayley before licking her neck.

Hayley felt her body become paralyzed as she fell to the floor.

"Now little hero... allow me to honour you the pleasure of kissing your own blade."

Flames surrounded Hayley as Shoto shoved Stain back. Izuku had regained movement and rushed over to remove Hayley from harm. Stain threw two blades that impaled Shoto's arm causing him to hesitate with his fireside.

Hayley laid beside Iida, "You weren't supposed to be here... none of you." Iida trembled, "What kind of hero am I? Protected by my friends. Them bleeding for me?" Iida muttered. "We do it because we care... We're heroes, yes, but we're you're friends too. And friends stick together." Hayley's trembling hand took hold of Iida's. The boy suddenly gained strength from his friend's words. As if time had stopped, Iida had rushed over to Shoto,

"Recpiro Burst!!!!!"

"Todoroki, Midoryia, Strom. This has nothing to do with you three, I apologise. That is why I cannot allow you to bleed anymore for me!" Iida rushed in along with Izuku and Shoto to attack Stain.

Hayley watched helplessly as her friends battled the hero killer, Come on Hal, move! Hayley forced herself to push through the pain as she wiggled her fingers. 

Iida and Izuku had flung Stain into the air and were about to land a final attack but he dodged last minute. Hayley regained her strength and appeared beside Stain, spinning her entire weight she landed a hard kick to his ribs gaining a few cracks.

Gravity pulled her in harshly but Shoto save her and the others with an ice slide.

The group stared silently at Stain's unconscious form, "Knocked out, isn't he?" Izuku stood and pulled Hayley up, "We better restrain him before he gets up." Shoto lowered Stain down as Hayley removed her wrapping from her arms, "I'll handle that." Hayley placed Stain's arms behind his back and began removing all his weapons.

When Hayley stepped back she felt her legs wobble, "Ugh... I guess I pushed myself..." Hayley leaned against the wall catching her breath, 

"Native, can you move?" Izuku asked but the pro placed Izuku on his back, "Allow me to help you, it's the least I can do." 

"Todoroki, allow me to pull him." Iida seemed troubled, "Your arms are messed up." Shoto looked towards Hayley, "You'd be better off to help Hayley." Both boys turned towards the girl as she leaned against the wall with a fast pacing breath, "Of course!" Iida stepped towards Hayley before allowing her to lean on him. The moment Iida had his arm around Hayley's waist she smiled, "Thank you, Iida..."

They met up with a few more pro's and Izuku's mentor. Hayley leaned into Iida a bit more as she felt her strength draining, "B-black Siren?" 

"She's injured! She needs medical care." Shoto lifted Hayley into his arms, "She's burning up!?" Izuku panicked, Shoto used his right side to cool Hayley down causing steam to emit off her skin.

"Watch out! A Villan!!!"

Another large Nomu had appeared and swooped up Izuku. Hayley watched through blurred vision as Izuku was taken away but to their surprise Stain killed the nomu.

"I-izuku..." Hayley fought against Shoto to release her, taking a breath she gave all her energy to save her friend.

LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!!!!

Stain was forced back, "Tch pesty girl... I'll end all you fake heroes!"

Flames flew towards Stain forcing him to separate from Izuku.

"Endeavor...." 

Endeavor finally arrived and when Hayley's blue eyes met his figure, she collapsed...
