The final three stood on the stage as the crowd cheered and booed as the were presenting the winners their medals. Todoroki was placed 2nd and Tokoyami was thrid which meant Katsuki was placed first. Hayley watched as Katsuki thrushed around from being chained against the pillar, his hands cuffed and his mouth muzzled.

"Is that really necessary!? His not an animal, his a child!" Diane growled at Midnight who seemed to glare at her, "He wont calm down, so be our guest." Midnight gestured to Diane who held the medals, "Be glad Mitsuki isn't here..." Diane rolled her eyes. 

All Might walked up to the stage and gave each of the young heroes their medals and once he got to Katsuki he removed the muzzle, "I agree with Black Canary, he is a child, not an animal." When All Might's eyes met Katsuki's glare he shuddered, "Uh, congratulations young Bakugou you have amazing potential." 

After a few photo's and reporters taking questions, the students were allowed to go home. Hayley was ordered to rest and remain in the wheel chair for at least a day. 

Hayley attempted to roll the chair to Katsuki who was for some reason being kept in a small room until he calmed down.

"Dammit!" Hayley muttered as she rolled into the wall, "Come on Hal, you got this..." Hayley's brows were arched in determination, 

"1...."

"2..."

"3!"

"3..."

Hayley turned as she felt someone pull the chair back and push her forward, "Would you like some help?"

"Shoto..." Hayley giggled, "That would be great, thank you!" The boy smiled before pushing Hayley down the hall, "You were amazing Shoto, I'd love to train with you sometime." Hayley smiled up at him, "Maybe we could both work on our fire quirks?" Shoto looked down at Hayley and felt a small blush fall across his face, "I guess we could arrange something." Shoto smiled softly, "Great, it's set! I just need to heal up and then I'll text you!" Hayley hummed as they stopped before Katsuki's 'Room'  "You may need my number for you to be able to text me." Shoto rubbed his neck sheepishly, "Oh, yes!" Hayley handed Shoto her phone and held out her hand for his. The two exchanged numbers before Shoto waved and walked away.

Hayley knocked on the door, "Hello?" 

Jake and Kirishima slid out covered in smoke and ash, "Hey Hal! Just what the Doctor ordered!" Jake dusted himself down and coughed up a puff of smoke, "What's going on?" Hayley watched as Kirishima shuddered, "Bakubro is not happy, he's furious!" Jake nodded, "He's not in agreat space right now.."  Hayley rolled her eyes, "Let me in, I'll set the idiot straight!" Kirishima shivered at Hayley's cold voice.

"uh oh..."

Katsuki sat at the table with his head in his hands. His breathing was heavy and angry, the smell of burnt wood and smoke filled the air, he seemed, defeated?

"Hey, lets go home Katsuki..." Hayley forced the chair closer. Katsuki only gripped his hair tighter, "What do you want?" Hayley seemed hurt by the question, "Katsuki, what do you mean?" Hayley placed her hand on his shoulder but it was brushed off, "What do you want from me!" Hayley flinched, "What do you want with someone like me!?" Katsuki sunk deeper against the table. It didn't take long for Hayley to realise he was holding back tears, "Someone like you?" Hayley repeated the last words of his question. Katsuki stood and threw over the table with an explosion,

"Someone like me! A person whose been called a villain before even given the chance at being a hero! Someone who gives his all when attacking a girl who people see as frail! Someone who nobody seems to understand because they're to afraid of me! Someone whose hurt people he cared about and pushed away to the extent where the disappeared! Someone who has no chance at being happy without being angry!!!" Katsuki finished his confession and fell to the floor. The tears streamed down his face as he held his wrists from pain. 

Hayley was silent and felt her own tears creep out. Hayley slid off the wheel chair and crawled beside him before wrapping her arms around his trembling shoulders...

"I don't know who you're talking about... I see someone whose quirk is amazing and isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. I see someone who never doubts anyone's power and treats all his opponents as equals. I see someone whose confident in who he is and doesn't care about what others think of him. I see someone who made a mistake and tries his best everyday to fix it! You're happy when you forget about what others think and focus on yourself. You are who you are meant to be Katsuki... and I believe that you are meant to be an amazing hero.." Hayley felt her shirt dampen from his tears and hers fell freely. She had no idea he had felt this way but now she knew, and she would make sure he never felt this way again..

There was silence as Hayley began to hum softly to help calm him down.

"I cheered for you... my voice was a bit broken, but I tried my best." Hayley whispered.

"Tch, I heard you loud and clear dummy, it felt as if you were there, right beside me." Katsuki sat back on his heels as he rubbed his eyes.

"What? But I whispered? Unless..." Hayley grinned, "Izuku was right! I can do more than just scream! I can use my voice on different sound levels to reach out to people!" Katsuki smirked, "Guess we'll have to work on that this afternoon at training."

"Eh!?"

"No slacking!" Katsuki looked away from Hayley's pout, "But Katsuki, I can't walk, I need to rest!" Hayley whined. The boy snickered, "I'm kidding idiot..."

Katsuki and Hayley smiled at one another but it only took seconds for them to realise how close they were. Hayley still had her hands on Katsuki's shoulders and he gripped the bottom of her shirt. The scent of cotton candy filled Hayley's nose as she took a shuddered breath. Hayley's eyes fell to his lips for an instance before staring back into his ruby-red eyes, for some reason... Red was suddenly her favourite colour... I've sooo got a crush on him...

Katsuki leaned forward slowly, his eyes falling on Hayley's lips and back to her blue eyes, they were like the ocean. I wonder what her lips taste like... lychees? 

Hayley could feel Katsuki's warm breath on her lips... OMG, he's going to kiss me!!! I can do this!

Hayley's eyes fluttered closed as she leaned in closer, their nose grazing each other softly,

"WHAT THE FUCK!?!?"

Jake Yelled from the door way. the two teens suddenly slid away from each other as Hayley burnt a bright red and Katsuki filled with anger, "You damn Lizard! Don't you know how to knock!" Katsuki growled! Kirishima covered his mouth as he snickered, "How bold Bakubro!" Katsuki's hands sparked, "Shut it shitty Hair!!! I was helping her back into the chair!!!" Katsuki suddenly picked Hayley up bridal style and threw her in the chair, "See! Helping!" Hayley's blush was still present and she could see Katsuki's too, there was no denying it now... There was definitely something between them.

"Seemed more like you were helping yourself to some plump lips!' Jake teased, Katsuki froze as his shock and anger toppled over, "Jake, run!" Hayley giggled as Katsuki chased her brother out the room and down the hallways. She could hear the melody her brother was singing as Katsuki blew explosions after him

"Would you like me to roll you to the gate?" Kirishima grinned. Hayley smiled, "Yes please." Kirishima rolled Hayley down the hallway and was about to walk through the gates, "Hey, Kiri..." Hayley whispered, "Please don't say anything about what happened earlier... I-" Kirishima kneeled down before her, "My lips are sealed, but you know... he likes you. He's always staring at you and sometimes I catch him blushing..." Hayley felt her cheeks burn, "I-I like him too... but we need to let this happen on its own time... Just promise me?" Kirishima shook Hayley's hand, "As long as you promise the moment something happens, you can tell me so that I can make fun of him!" Hayley shook her head, "Your an idiot... but deal!"

The Storm house was filled with laughter and warmth. The Bakugou family had join them for dinner to Celebrate the chirldren's new achievements in the festival. Mic and Aizawa helped Diane in the kitchen while everyone finished their plates.

"Oi! Damn Lizard! Quit hogging all the Curry!" Katsuki growled as Jake held back the bowl of curry, "Back off Brat! I have two days to stuff my face with home cooked meals before I'm shipped back to America!" Katsuki continued to claw at the bowl, "KATSUKI! Leave Jake to enjoy his food!" Mitsuki smacked her son with a spoon, "What the hell Hag!" Aizawa sunk in his chair, "So loud..."Hayley stood and wacked both Katsuki and Jake over the head with her fists, "ENOUGH!" the air was cold and silent as everyone stared at Hayley's stone hard face. Jake noticed a small smirk form on his sisters face. There was a gust of wind when suddenly the bowl of curry was in Hayley's hands and she dished up the last bit, "Thank you boys!" Hayley winked and placed the empty bowl before Katsuki. Mic's laughter filled the room, "Ata  girl!!!"  Hayley slurrped happily on the curry ignoring the heated glare she got from the spike-haired boy beside her, "Your curry is the best Mitsuki!" Diane giggled when Katsuki stole a few bites from Hayley.

Johnathan raised his glass, "To Hayley and Katsuki! Two amazing heroes in the making. Congratulations on your achievements in the sports festival!" Katsuki and Hayley stared at each other and blushed before looking to her father,

"Hear Hear!!!" 

"You brats did great! Specially my child!" Mitsuki said as she hugged Hayley, "The hell Hag!!! I'm your son!!!" Diane pulled Katsuki into a hug, "We're proud of you too Katsuki..." Diane gave the boy a light ruffle in his hair which caused Katsuki to blush even deeper.

"They'll definitly be great Pros! Don't you think so too Shota!?" Mic yelled as he held Aizawa around his shoulders, "So loud...." Aizawa whined...

"Well, I'll have you both know, I sent you an application to join me at my agency should you wish to do so. I also offered your friends Todoroki and Tokoyami an application." Hayley's eyes widened at the mention of Shoto, "That's great dad! Shoto also mentioned that Endeavour may place an offer for me too, perhaps he can help me with my heat quirk!" Diane noticed the tease in her daughters tone, but clearly her husband failed..."What! You can't go to Enji's agency! Who better to help you with your quirk than me!? Your own father!!!" 

Hayley burst out laughing, "I'm just teasing dad!" Johnathan seemed to calm down, "Yeah yeah, your so funny. So, what are your plans for the 2 days you have off?" Hayley shrugged, "Rest I guess, not sure about Katsuki?" Hayley nudged the boy, "I, uh... I don't know yet..." Katsuki blushed again, "You okay?" Hayley whispered but Jake took over the conversation, "How about you take me to that Halo place!?" Hayley nodded, we could do that, "What do you think Katsuki?" Jake noticed how Katsuki was oddly silent and he knew exactly why, "Great! I can't wait!" Mitsuki gathered a few things, "We better be on our way, lets go idiot son!" Masaru thanked his friends for dinner and followed his wife, Diane and Johnathan followed the couple as they were still deep in conversation.

 "Hey, Katsuki? Can we talk?" Hayley tugged on his shirt, "It'll only be a second." Katsuki nodded silently and followed Hayley to the back garden. Jake noticed the two slip away and decided to keep the family occupied

Don't chicken out on each other idiots... Jake smirked

The cold hair snipped at Hayley's bare arms as they exit the house. Katsuki shoved his hands in his pockets and stared at the tiny lights that they had through out their garden. Hayley watched as Katsuki stared into the garden, It's now or never, don't chicken out...

"I wanted to talk about what happened earlier..." Hayley twiddled her fingers as her blush krept up her neck and caused her ears to burn. Katsuki froze, "You better not tell anyone about-"

"no, not about that part..." Hayley took a step forward I'm going to be bold and go for it

Katsuki stepped back, "What are you-"

Hayley had pulled Katsuki close and placed a quick and sweet kiss on his lips. Her hands cupped his face as she pulled him in for the kiss. Katsuki stood frozen and stiff with his eyes wide and blinking rapidly Is this a dream!?

Hayley took a step back when she felt Katsuki didn't return her kiss...

"I l-like you Katsuki.. D-do... You like me, Katsuki?" Hayley held her arms to contain some warmth. The boy stood silent and stared at Hayley as if he had seen an gohst...

Silence....

Hayley felt the tears begin to sting her eyes, Please say yes...

"I... I have to go..."

Those words had barley made it to Hayley's ears when Katsuki rushed off, leaving her alone with her thoughts and an unexpected rejection...

I guess there was never anything between us...
