Diane shouted at Mic who stood breaking a sweat, "Uh well you see uh..."

"Please don't be mad at him... I'm the one who lied to you and dad...." Hayley stepped out from behind her uncle, "Can we please just all calm down and-"

((((CALM DOWN!?!?!)))))))

Hayley blocked her ears from her mother, "Diane, she's right. Let's take this matter home." Jonathan looked between the teens, "Katsuki will be joining us!" The blonde shrugged but trembled... Is this fear?

"Hello Mr and Mrs Storm, my name is Nezu. I am the principle of U.A." The small mouse creature hopped up onto Mic's shoulder and extended his paw, "Allow me to prepare a meeting with you and your daughter as I feel we have much to discuss." Diane glared at her daughter, "Honey... Let's not do this in front of these young heroes...." Jonathan eyed Kirishima and Izuku, "H-hello Mr and Mrs S-storm...." Izuku blushed. Diane rolled her eyes, "Izuku and Katsuki's involved? Who else?" Hayley stuttered "No one..." Hayley faced the floor, "Let's go shall we?"

Hayley and Katsuki followed the heroes out of USJ but Hayley could hear the gossips from her classmates...

"wow, are those her parents!?"

"That's amazing!!!"

"Why didn't she tell us?"

"Oi Extras!! We can hear you!" Katsuki growled at the rest of the class. 

Hayley walked behind her parents, all her adrenaline had disappeared causing her to clench her arm in pain, "argh..." Nezu watched his student curiously, "Miss Storm are you alri- oh my gosh!"

Hayley collapsed to the floor but Nezu caught the sight of a crimson liquid seeping from her shoulder, "We need a first aid kit!!!" Nezu yelled, "Miss Storm, are you with me? What happened?" Katsuki panicked, "Oi, w-why is she laying so still!?" Katsuki was held back by Vlad, "She was injured, quick, let's take her outside to the ambulance!" Nezu gestured for a hero to lift her. Katsuki pulled free from Vlad's grip and lifted his friend in his arms, "Let me take her kiddo..." Johnny extended his arms. Katsuki looked down at her face that was twisted in pain only making him hold her closer, "I-I'll take her!" Katsuki walked past the teachers towards the ambulance outside.

Izuku watched his friends closely, "I'm sorry Hayley-chan"

"It seems your daughter overused her strength quirk during her battle. She took a few brutal hits to her torso and since she had used 2 quirks over their limit her body gave in. I'll have recovery girl attend to her right away." The doctor spoke to Johnny and Diane, "That won't be a possibility Doc..." Johnny rubbed the back of his neck, "Hayley's body rejects healing quirks, she'll need to be taken care of the old fashion way." Katsuki sat with his head in his hands outside the room. He had called his parents when Present Mic offered to drive him to the hospital. Diane sat beside the boy, placing her hand on his shoulder and giving a motherly squeeze, "She's going to be okay." Katsuki could feel his heart rate slow down, "The doctor said she should wake up soon." Diane continued. Taking a deep breath she braved the question that had been circling in her mind the whole time, "What's going on? Why was Hayley at U.A?" Diane felt Katsuki shake, "It's not my place to say why blondie did the stupid thing she did... So she can tell you herself." Katsuki clenched his fists, "My old hag knew too... she only found out Friday..." Diane felt tears swell in her eyes, "I Don't understand, Hayley has never lied to us or-" Johnny leaned in the doorway, "I know honey, but she'll have her reason." Johnny pushed off the wall, "I just don't know how the hell she managed to fool us, and where do the people at Shiketsu think she is?!" 

"I Can explain that..."

Diane and Johnny stood straight at the almost foreign voice...

"Father?"

Thomas walked towards his daughter. Katsuki looked up at the elder man that he had heard so much about... good and bad. "You called my Father?" Diane accused her husband, "No, I did..." Present Mic rubbed the back of his neck, "We actually spoke Saturday, I made contact with him after Hayley and I spent the day toget-"

"You did what with my daughter!?" Diane was furious, "She was out with friends! Right, Katsuki?" Johnny looked over at the boy, "Why would Katsuki know?" Diane looked between the boys, "I had him follow her... uh I mean j...fuck it" Johnny clicked his tongue, "This is why she keeps secrets from us!" Diane poked her husbands chest, "Blondie and I were fine." Thomas sighed, "Hayley being here, is partially my fault." Johnny trembled at his wife's cold voice, "P-partially?!" 

Present Mic shivered, "Man, you're still more terrifying than the old man!"

"agreed...." Thomas nodded, "AND I'M NOT THAT OLD!!!" 

"Diane, can we all go talk over a cup of coffee or somewhere Private?" Thomas asked as he eyed Katsuki, "What! NO! My daughter is unconscious and if she wakes up someone needs to be there!" Johnny placed his hand on her shoulder, "Katsuki, would you mind staying by Hayley while we go sort this out?" Katsuki looked among the adults, "Tch, whatever old man...." Present Mic covered his mouth, "If he's old then your ancient!" Mic pointed to Thomas. The boy shut the door behind him.

Hayley laid in the bed beneath the sheets. The machines all made the slight beeping noises and the room smelt heavy of disinfectant and medication. Katsuki swung the chair around and straddled it. Resting his arms over the back of the chair he rested his chin on his arms. Hayley's breathing was slow and peaceful, her cheeks had a light tint and her lips were a pale pink, "You better wake up so I can kick your ass." Katsuki growled. 

Silence

Rolling his eyes he found a few of Hayley's belongings on the side table. The broken sword from earlier, her black jacket and the silver necklace she always wore. Taking the small silver chain in his hand Katsuki felt his mind rush to the day he bought it for her. 

flashback

He and Hayley had walked past that store countless times but one day she saw the chain with the seashell

"Oh wow! That's beautiful." Hayley cupped her hands over her eyes to get a clear view, "Tch, let's go blondie, your going to miss your match." Hayley was dressed fully in her Karate Gi, she had a tournament today and Katsuki was going to support her, "We have time! I just want to check the price." Hayley opened the door, "Hello, how can I help you?" A elder man with thick glasses stepped forward, "Hello sir, may I inquire the price for the silver chain with the shell pendant?" Hayley smiled, the old man smiled, " 9692.99 Yen" Hayley felt her soul leave her body, "uh... Thank you so much!" Hayley stepped back outside pale, "Why do you look so pale?" Katsuki growled, "It would cost the souls of the number 1 2 and 3 heroes!" Hayley gasped. Katsuki rolled his eyes before grabbing her wrist and pulling her towards her club.

Katsuki watched as Hayley kicked ass. She took down the other student with quick movements and almost no effort. He felt an odd filling feeling in his chest, "I'm proud of her..."

Hayley and Katsuki sat in the booth of one of her favourite pizza places. A few other students had the same idea, "Thanks for being there to support me." Hayley smiled at the boy, "Whatever." Katsuki's ears were a bit pink, "I got you something since you didn't get a damn medal." Katsuki looked over his shoulder, "I've told you before, we don't get medals, we get certificates." Hayley smiled, "But thank you, so? What did you get me?" Hayley leaned over the counter towards the blonde-haired boy, "Close your damn eyes."  Katsuki ordered. Hayley raised her brow before closing her eyes. Katsuki leaned over and fiddled with the tiny chain. Hayley felt the cold feeling against her neck but also Katsuki's breath against her ear, "Damn shitty trinket!" Katsuki muttered, "There!" Katsuki grinned but fell back in his seat when he saw Hayley's blue eyes smirking at him, "Why so nervous Kachan?~" Hayley teased, "Give it back..." Hayley giggled before taking the pendant in her hand. Her eyes widened at the shell, "You..." Katsuki leaned back, "Make sure you don't lose that or I'll kill you." Hayley felt her eyes sting as the tears swelled, "Your the best...." Katsuki blushed, "Obviously! I'm going to be the #1 hero! What did you expect? You probably thought-"  during Katsuki's rant Hayley had shuffled closer and gave the boy a soft warm kiss on his cheek, "Thank you Katsuki...."

Hayley's eyes fluttered open. Staring at the white ceiling and the feeling of unfamiliar sheets over her body, "wh-what happened?" Hayley whimpered as she tried to figure out where she was. Spotting a familiar blob of blonde beside her, "Welcome back Blondie." Katsuki pulled his earphones out, "I'm not dead?" Hayley pinched herself. Katsuki rolled his eyes, "Not yet" Hayley smiled, "You overused your quirk, you idiot... The doc said it was bad." Katsuki grumbled looking away, "I know... I'm sorry, I just had to help- AIZAWA!!? where is he? is he???" Hayley sat up and tried to get out of her bed, "Oi, lay your ass down now!" Katsuki pushed Hayley back gently, "The old man is fine, he's alive." Hayley took a deep breath and looked over at him, "Did I miss anything?" Katsuki growled, "Yeah, your fucken family reunion. Your mom, dad and grandfather are here and your shitty loud mouth uncle-"

"YOU LEFT THEM ALONE!? THEY'LL KILL EACH OTHER!!" 

"You're mother is going to kill both of us dammit!" Katsuki growled, "And another thing, next time you yell 'Die' try to sound more intimidating instead of a girl scout!" Hayley pouted, "At least you heard me..." Katsuki smirked, "yeah, I did... It's hard to miss that annoying voice." Hayley took his hand, "I'm glad, sorry that I left you guys behind like that I-"

"I know blondie, just...." Katsuki squeezed her hand, "DON'T TRY THAT SHIT AGAIN!" Hayley giggled, "I promise..." 

Silence filled the room, unconsciously Katsuki's thumb slightly rubbed Hayley's hand, leaning closer "Do you want this back?" Katsuki held up her necklace, "What!? When did it-"

"The doctors took it off before you went into surgery, chill the fuck down..." Hayley sat up slowly and taking the chain back. As she tried to put it on her chest ached, "Uh, Katsuki, could you help me please?" Hayley held the chain back to him. The boy stood silently before clasping thee chain behind her neck. Leaning back slightly he viewed the silver chain that fell against her chest. His eyes fell on her scar, moving the chain away slightly to view the small pink flesh. Hayley sat holding her breath, He's s-so close... 

Katsuki's eyes met Hayley's ice-blue eyes. For some reason, he found them calming and beautiful. Gazing at all her features he had a slight scowl but not his usual one, he seemed more at peace with her. Hayley's heart began racing, Do I have a c-crush on him!? No... It can't be... It's been a week, he can't have such an impact on me, can he?

Katsuki's hand suddenly took hold of her cheek, Hayley felt her face heat up Yes he can, YES he can! oh gosh... is he going to k-kiss me?? Katsuki's scowl deeper, "Oi, have you got a fever?" Katsuki moved his hand to her forehead, "N-no, I f-feel fine!" Hayley stuttered, I never stutter!!!! "Bull shit!... Dammit, I can't feel with my hands all sweaty, the old hag had a way to check my fever when I was younger..." Katsuki murmured with a blush. In the blink of an eye, Katsuki's lips were pressed against her forehead. Hayley felt her heart explode EEEEKK Katsuki's blush deepened when Hayley clenched his shirt, Her heart rate was racing and funny enough, so was his.

BEEP BEEP BEEP *PATIENT IN CARDIAC DISTRESS* 

Hayley's heart rate monitor started flashing lights and making beeping noises, catching the duo in surprise. Hayley fell back in fright, pulling Katsuki down with her, "Ow ow ow, Katsu-"

"Hal, you oka- What's going on!?" Johnny's face was red in anger and embarrassment, the image before him was the nightmare of any father. Katsuki laid on top of his innocent little Hayley with her hands clinging to his chest, both teens faces were flushed and taking deep breaths from their small fall but all that ran through Johnny's mind was

BOYS ARE BAD!!!! VERY BAD!!!!

For a large private hospital room, it felt tiny... Hayley sat up in her bed and it felt as if the entire Japan was in there with her. 

Diane sat on her daughters bed, Johnny sat beside her bed. Mic stood at the foot of her bed and Thomas leaned in the doorway. Principle Nezu sat on Mic's shoulders and the Bakugou's were standing by the window. Diane held her daughter's hand and Johnny leaned on his hands, 

"So... um, I guess I should explain myself..." Hayley whispered. Diane nodded, "Your grandfather's explained their parts in this and I understand why you did it... but what we don't understand is why you didn't talk to us about it?" Johnny said. Hayley looked at her friends, family and principle, "I guess I was afraid I was going to disappoint you guys again..."

"Again?" 

"Well, when we were told I would never develop a quirk. That day with the doctor, I saw the pain in your eyes. I knew you wanted me to be a hero too or to have some development in that line." Hayley sighed, "When I got my quirk, I knew I wanted to be a hero, I knew where I wanted to go and I knew why. I wanted to attend U.A not only for their reputation and high standards, but also to meet Uncle Mic. His quirk is similar to ours mom, and I wanted to learn from him too. I knew that it would be my only chance. Jake and I had planned this together and Grandfather Thomas... he has his reasons for helping me. I'm sorry I lied to you but I just didn't have the heart to tell you that I didn't want to attend Shiketsu." Diane squeezed her daughters hand, "I know that's where you and dad met but U.A is where Grandfather Natsu and Grandmother Lucy met, I wanted to tell you so many times but I guess I was afraid. Grandfather encouraged me to follow my gut and look where that got me." Hayley smiled

"In the hospital with bandages and a slight concussion?" Mic asked trying to lighten up the mood.

"You're ticket to be grounded for life?" Johnny added

"Getting to spend time with my idiot son!?" Mitsuki cheered.

Hayley shook her head, "Not just that, my family in one room together." Hayley looked between her mother and uncle, "Jake and I grew up admiring him and when I found out I had an uncle, that's when I decided that after all the sacrifices you and had made for Jake and I, we wanted you to patch things up with uncle Mic. Jake and I grew up to have an amazing sibling relationship but not you. I don't know what happened, but life is too short mom, you know that." Mitsuki stood in the corner sobbing, "DAMMIT! DIANE, SHE'S SO WISE!!!" Masaru took his wife and son out of the room, "Let's give them some space." Hayley smiled at the man. Mic looked over at his sister, "She's right you know..." Diane nodded, "Why Hizashi..." Nezu had decided to join the Bakugou family outside. Hayley felt as her dad took hold of her hand, "It's my fault... I forced my selfish reasons upon the both of you in my thirst for power... I had arrange a quirk marriage with a young woman for Hizashi but he came back with an unexpected blow... During my training with Hayley... I realised what I missed with you two and I know I cannot ask for forgiveness but please forgive each other." Thomas finished, "I'll leave you all alone." Thomas walked out. 

Hayley looked between her mother and uncle, "Uncle Mic, your turn." Mic nodded, "Di, the reason all this started so many years ago is because he couldn't accept his children as they were. When he announced my quirk marriage I was pissed because I wasn't into that... Or woman in fact." Mic sat beside his sister and blushed, Diane's eyes widened, "Wait... are you?" Hayley threw her arms open, "Yip!! Jake and I have Guncle's!!!" Hayley was silenced by her father grabbing her hand again "He said things that hurt beyond repair and I was worried he would take his disappointment of me out on you, so I cut all ties." Mic then smirked at Hayley, "Then this trouble maker came into my life." Hayley grinned, "And look at us now." Hayley smiled, "After Saturday with Hayley, we had a blast, but I wanted to know why he agreed and placed her into U.A, so I made contact with him." Mic rubbed the back of his neck, "And here we are..." Diane stood and clenched her fists, glaring at her brother she hissed "I have one question for you..." 

Hayley and Johnny panicked, "I'm dead aren't I daddy?" Hayley felt her mother glare. Mic stood nervously, "W-what is it?" Diane smiled at her brother...

"Do you and your partner want to join us for dinner Friday?"
