Just say yes.

It was the right answer.

I had been waiting for this proposal for so long. It had dreamt of it at night.

After all these years, my dreams would finally become true. 

Was I excited? Oh yes!

There was no sound reason for my hesitation. 

What was wrong with me? Had I lost my mind somewhere along the way?

I had gone straight through hell to get to this point. 

It was too good to be true. 

"Can I take a raincheck?" I couldn't believe my own words. How crazy was I? Or was I just crazy and tired? Yeah, that summed it up neatly. 

"No, I need to have your decision now. Will you accept the offer?" 

Just say yes, my inner voice told me. 

Perhaps that is why I said, "No."
