The Flareon looked more carefully at the group. He saw at least one of each Eeveelution type, each of them watching him with what seemed, as far as he could tell, with a nonthreatening gaze.

After a moment of being watched, a shiny Umbreon of considerable height stepped forward and raised her left forepaw.

"Hi! I'm Jan! Sorry about... that..." she said, looking askance at the giant, whose head was stuck through the window. Her voice was smooth, somewhat deep, and, despite her hesitation, commanding.

"I-I'm Austin," the smaller Flareon said, trying to resist the urge to shake the saliva off, for fear that it would hit his captors. Then who knew what might happen.

Suddenly, Austin was hit from above by an apparent bucketful of water. He flinched, the cold and villainous liquid coating his fur, but it trickled out from his pelt more quickly and more completely than any water had before, and pooled neatly just a few inches from his forepaws. After shaking his head a moment, he considered the puddle.

"I'm guessing you're a Vaporeon...?"

The puddle sprung to life, making the trill of a Vaporeon as it formed into the Bubble Jet Pokemon. "You can call me London!"

Austin stepped back, somewhat aghast. Although, his fur, surprisingly, was not at all wet, even in the slightest, nor was the floor.

"What brings you here, Austin?" Jan asked, apparently ignoring the Vaporeon now slinking away to join the others.

"I, uh... I was... lost," the Flareon replied. Jan only smiled.

"You're welcome to stay here as long as you like! We don't get many... visitors." the Umbreon said. 

"Th-thanks..." Austin stammered, taking another nervous glance around at the others. It would be a daunting task to try to learn all of their names. But, in a moment, most of them dispersed, except for Jan and an enormous Sylveon Austin had somehow not noticed earlier. While not as vast as the monster that had brought him here, this Sylveon was still nearly double Austin's height.

"This is my son, Mindanao. He'll help you with anything you need," Jan chirped, before she, too, went away.

Mindanao padded up to Austin, looking down at him with a smile. The Flareon didn't smile back. No matter. Mindanao waved with a paw.

"Hey."

"Hey," Austin responded. It seemed he had nothing to say, and Mindanao didn't mind keeping quiet. He quickly ensnared the Flareon in his ribbons (much to his surprise) and deposited him on his back, so he could carry him. Austin blushed slightly.

"Is... is there something about me that makes you guys think I can't walk?"

"Yeah, you were walking down the road. You must be tired."

Austin opened his mouth to object, but he soon found it filled with something sweet and delicious, as Mindanao crammed a berry into the Flareon's face. Austin mumbled in thanks, although at this point, speech was not a capability he had due to trying not to let any of the juice leak from his lips, so he could not ask "why have you done this" or something. After he was finally able to swallow, he spoke.

"Where are you taking me?"

"To meet people. One by one is best, I've noticed," the Sylveon said succinctly. He carried Austin down the hall, putting an ear to each of the many doors within.

"Isn't that a little rude?" Austin asked, somewhat surprised at the apparent lack of respect for privacy. Mindanao chuckled slightly. 

"Which is more rude, silently and discretely determining what's happening in a room, or barging in on someone who might be sleeping or, more likely, mating?"

"Well, when you put it that way... wait, what do you mean, 'more likely, mating?'"

Mindanao blushed slightly as he continued down the hall.

"Don't worry about it..."

"Wh-what the hell does that mean?!"

Mindanao couldn't help but giggle. "It means don't worry about it. It usually doesn't affect people unless they choose to stay long term."

Austin shuddered, and leapt from the Sylveon's back to walk beside him instead, in case he had to make a run for it. If this was the end of his journey, he would rather end it kicking and screaming, and not... well, making some other noise...
