I don't know where it all went wrong.
I don't know how it ended up like this.
Where I'm sinking down into a pitiful abyss thinking everything is all my fault.

Waking up every day with no schedule was nice, but now that it is Monday again it really is not so nice. It was the sixth day of January. I got up, put the food of sea in my mouth, and went to see the others.

"Careful, princess. Your brother filled me in. Make sure you watch your every move. If you make one mistake, it could be over." Azurine warned.
It seems like I have not spoken to her in forever. The last time was near the beginning of my days in this place.

"Yes, I know. Look, I will see you soon, besides Mivozene is also there." I rushed out the door quite excited to see them.
Well mostly Seivon. Ever since I did that, I been thinking of him more. Every time I sleep, awake, eat, go places. Whenever I do anything when I am not with him.

I stopped when I saw the magnolia trees and rose bushes. Seivon at once noticed me and waved for me to come. It was just us. We were always early before meeting each other at the back, but now we were meeting each other like this. "Hey.." I smiled.
"You look beautiful today."

"I do not always?" I frowned jokingly.

"N-no you do it just...I wanted to compliment you and you look extremely nice today and I..." He was sometimes so nervous around me. It was cute in a way.

"I am joking." He sighed in relief. I kissed his cheek, allowing myself to hug him.

"Violet...." He kisses my forehead. "You're amazing..." He kisses my cheek. "In all honesty, I don't deserve you." He kisses my other cheek. "Yet here you are still with me, my angel.....fish." I stared at him blankly.

"Do not say that again. I am not a fish. I do not call you humans angelhumans." He laughed at that. "And what do you mean? You think you do not deserve me? Look at what everything I done.... With who I am how could I possibly-"

"Hush....You are my Angelfish." He whispered as I glared, but he cupped my cheeks making them turn a slight human redsnapper color. "It is a compliment, take it." I tried taking a step back, but then realized I was against a tree.
First the sea, then the sand, the railings, the wall, the building, and now a tree. He put his arms around me and kissed me slowly. It was passionate like a water's stream, daring as a waterfall, exciting as the unknown sea, magical as bubbles floating out reaching farther and farther until...

"Ugh no, don't start that here too!" Melody complained, frowning at the site of us. "All you kissing and acting bubbly is making me sick." She sighed,
"Yeah break it up! Uh-uh, none of you gonna do that here. If you want to, go to the back of the school or something." There Melody was standing brightly as the radiant sun with such a smug expression on her face. Back of the school? How did she know?

"Why are you so early? You usually come like eight minutes before bell rings." Seivon groaned.
Is he upset because he cannot kiss me without Melody complaining? That is adorable.

"What do you mean early?" Melody raises her eyebrow. "I usually come at this time and you are always late."

"No...." I smiled sheepishly. "About that...You just do not see him."

"Wait... Are you for real?" Realization clicks to her head faster than Seivon ever figures anything out. "SEIVON, whatever your middle name is...RIVERS, INSTEAD OF BEING EARLY YOU BEEN IN THE BACK OF THE SCHOOL WITH HER?!" Melody yelled her head off at him or seemed to shrink down covering his ears.

He looked at her innocently, "Maybe." He grinned.

"So every morning and end of the school day you-"

"Basically." I interrupted her. If my brother was here, he would said something like 'What did I say about interrupting or pausing your sentences?'
"And I came up with the plan since he would not be able to do that hence being stupid."

"Hey! I am not." Seivon argued.

"Yeah you are." Melody tells him with her voice now calmer. See even she knows he is stupid.

"Then how come I am the number one at school?" Seivon turned to Melody, raising an eyebrow.

"Academically you are intelligent per say, but socially you are dumb as a rock." I chuckled when Melody told him that.

"I think you mean stupid. It fits better." Seivon scowled glaring at both of us.

"But...what...I can figure things out look I figured out about-"

"After three months? And passing up a lot of huge hints that I gave you? Even Mels over here started to give you hints you were being so stupid." He is lucky I love him.

Seivon sighed, "I thought it was you in the beginning Violet! I just needed roof and then I was mistaken..." He lowered his head, "I mean yeah when I realized I felt kinda stupid, but not with everything."

"No you were. When I first met Kaisa I realized it the first day. She was acting strange with not liking water with every second and then I saw her in the sea and she looked similar." I shrugged,
"I put two and two together and look what happened. You spent years on it, with me"

"Yeah, but....It was only three months. Not years." This human..
Three months is a long time. Nobody can change my mind.

"It is fine if you are...." I laid my head into him, "I still love you anyways."

"You better..." I heard him mutter.

"Awwww!" Melody was just complaining about us kissing and now she fangirling over us?

"Go away you are being annoying." Seivon states.

"Yeah Mels." I agreed.

"Don't yeah Mel..." Suddenly she paused, "Wait Mels? Where you get that?"

"Ashton might of or your twins might of..." I sighed, "I overheard someone of them say something like that."

"Really? He....Wait! Why you say twins like I had my own twins?" I saw Seivon laughing as she glared at me.

"Your siblings I think those people that were in your house." Silence overtook us and I just stared at Seivon watching everything he did.
Just then I heard Kaisa's voice. She started to come over when she noticed the position me and Seivon were in.

"What are you....Why is he holding you....Pa-Miracine!" She got upset and angry over nothing. I mean really. It was just him holding me.

"What do you mean? We are together." Seivon smiled.

"Wait he knows that human you are..." Atlantic groaned. "Ughh great..."

"Atlantic, Princess of Rivalkai, it is better this way." I crossed my arms. I knew she be like this.

"Maybe for you, younger Pacific Princess of Kimoshei...But think of me?!" She hissed, "Now the mermaid council will be-"

"Yeah say that word like it does not matter about our lives being in danger if anyone hears." I scowled, "You cannot get any louder, can you?"

"Oh be quiet!" She exclaimed, "If Pacific was here, you'd shut up. All you do is sass me when he not around, but when he is you act like a little angel..." I furrowed my eyebrows, "Unless, of course, you both are arguing."

"All you ever do is speak of my brother, but when he around all you do argue." I retorted back. She shrugged and rolled her eyes.

"Both of you need to relax. Nobody gonna turn you in to the council or whatever you are talking about." Melody steps in between us.
"And what this nickname with the seas? Atlantic, Rivalkai? Pacific, Kimoshei? Younger Pacific, Kimoshei?"

Kaisa ignored her question, but turned to her. "You do not know anything. A spirit might hope to get freedom."

"Heh....You can say that again." I muttered.

"No one here is going to." Mel whispered, "You need to calm down."

"Like I said before you do not know anything the mer-" Suddenly it was as if someone was putting a hand over her mouth, except no hand was there.

"Erhmmnm.... Saermmm... toormm... merchmmm." Kaisa struggled against whatever was blocking her. It was then I noticed it. There was something there.
It was clear and see-through as water. A silver hand fin was covering her mouth. It stretched out all the way to behind the bushes. He doing exactly what I did to him one time.

"Spying on conversations again....tsk tsk. Besides if I recalled I thought you hated when sentences were paused or interrupted?" I leaned my head back groaning.
I do not know how much of it he saw. I hope he saw as much as Kaisa came.

"Touché." His voice responded at once.

"Keep doing whatever you are doing, Atlantic is enjoying quite bit." I emphasized it by moving my hands outward.

"Why thank you!" My brother gleamed.

"Why, of course," I grinned back. Kaisa just glared at me.

"But seriously why are you talking about that. They do not need to know anything regarding that." My brother stepped forward and made his camouflagic pacifican skin go away revealing himself to everyone else.

"And before you worry..." He whispered, "They are already aware."

"Y-you told them?" My eyes widened. All the things they could do to me since I did not tell them personally. "Do you know what they could do to-"

"Relax Mina. I personally told them that you wanted me to tell them. No harm going to come to you again..." I could not believe him. This time he told them I wanted to, and last time he just let me get hurt in front of everyone.
And there Mivozene was, he left and could not watch what they did to me. I remember it clearly too. He told them what I done and then in front of everyone what they did to me.... And he just left.

"Then why did you not think of that last time...." I frowned as the memories played through my head. Chanting, yelling, fear, and betrayal was what I felt. I was only 1-2-2-4-7 as well. That when my resentfulness first began towards him.

I saw something wash over Mivozene. Like a slight emotion, which was strange. Did he feel bad? "I...I did not think of it." He gingerly told me.

"That is no excuse what you did..." I scoffed. That was the first time I saw Kaisa, but she was different. Younger, but never said a word. I never paid her any attention....
All crowned ones and ones that were to be crowned were permitted to watched.

"Look I was....I did not mean it." I watched Mivozene released his grip from Atlantic's mouth as he caressed the side of her face down to her neck. That is not disturbing to watch at all. Just as he lowered his hand Atlantic bit him.
Serves him right for making me watch that disgusting display. "Berhmmth." He muttered in pain.

"Thank you for that Kaisa, I was getting uncomfortable." Melody chooses now to speak up. I murmured in agreement.

"I do not care, it is no excuse." I turn to my brother, still frowning.

"Wait you knew about him?" Kaisa spoke up as soon as she was free of Mivozene's hands.

"Unfortunately, right?" He shrugged. He came over to me and practically grabbed me out of Seivon's arms. "Ahh that is better."

"Wait is Kaisa seriously getting along with Mivozene?" I gasped, "What am I dreaming?"

"No. We just have a similar opinion on what you should not do and what you should avoid doing." Kaisa crossed her arms.

"Yeah do not do that." He turned to Kaisa, "Only I can insult and tell my Mina, how wrong she is."

"Gee thanks." I muttered sarcastically.

"We need to talk." He grabs ahold of my arm along with Kaisa trailing after me.

"AboUT wHAt?" I said in an my sea language. He could want to talk about a lot of things.

"Experiments. Sea. Persons of sea. Assistant of the devices. Where to find." He told us in code. What I am hearing is...
We need to discuss the person that might help with the camera devices that could find out about mermaids and who the assistant is.

"No woRRIes, no wORRIES! I know tHEM! DeSPISEs me, buT sTILL knOW tHEm. I wiLL be baCK. I'll sEE yOU sOON!" Melody and Seivon stared at me in confusion. Oh wait I was talking in the sea language.

We were in a hallway, when Mivozene was discussing the plan.
"Okay you go to the back way and those rooms. Atlantic you go the front rooms. I will go to the second floor rooms. And she had purplish dyed hair... Got it?"

"But wait I thought you knew her?" Why is Mivozene acting confused on who she is? Malseania acted like she knew him and everyone else.

"Me? Know her?" Mivozene looked confused.

"You were there. Remember when we went to that place. It was me, Kaisa, Melody, Seivon, Ashton, and her, Malseania."

"Ohhh. That person. That was the first day I talked to her in the school." I gasped so is it true? Malseania was pretending to be me. She was pretending to be me because she knew I knew Mivozene.
She pretended something happened four years ago because she knew about me somehow. She pretended to have my hair color and had contacts in to look like me. Anger boiled in me immediately.
Oh she is going to get it. Right here and now I will find her and show her what it means to try to imitate and copy my life and who I am.

"I am going to find her..." I whispered lowly. I am going to get her. I am going to show her. And I am going to tell her I know what she did. She spied on me since before she came to Seivon...
And that makes me angry with rage fuming through my face. And once I find her I am going to...

"Miracine Seaton. I knew you would be looking for me." There at the back of the building was Malseania. She was standing there all innocently and sweet. I hated it.

"Oh, is that so? And why is that?" I asked innocently.

"Oh you know why...." He voice trailed off as if she was trying to sound mysterious.
"But if you insist on me telling you, I'll just say everything I done was for a reason. Like now for instance, I would never go out of my way to see you in particular. I have a reason for that. Like the reason for you coming to me is two options. You either heard of what I told everyone about you. What you did to me. How you mistreated me, a sad, young, poor, and lonely soul making all my friends abandoned me. It was quite the tragic tale I tell you, I was even able to produce some real tears."
She laughed in such a sickening sweet way that it made my insides boil with hatred. "All those grieving frowns that came to me after hearing my tale. Oh how they turned to distress and sorrow after hearing me. They were in such despair. It is quite frankly they might even hate you now. They might hate that you are with Seivon."

"What? You cannot mean that. Who cares what they think. I do not care about you or any one of them!" I shouted at her. "The only one I care about is Seivon! And Melody and...Ashton."

"Why did you get with him? Seivon... Why did he choose you over me? What do you have that I do not? Look at me I am pretty as a duchess filled will glitz and glam. I was always so nice to him and cared for him as well. I even sometimes allowed him to be with his friends instead of me. I didn't want to be clingy...Then there were the times with just the two of us." The girl sighed dramatically.
"But then I saw how he looked at you. I could see it in his eyes, he kept comparing us. I did something to him as a nice gesture and he do it to you. Like he seeing how you would react. But when he did it to you it was always here... At the back of the building or by the sea right?... Oh he compared us so much. I didn't know why... Or did I." She smiled secretly.

"What do you mean...t-the back of the building? You saw that...and the b-beach? What did you see?" I eyed her cautiously.

"Is there something you did not want me to see?" She smiled slyly. Answering a question with a question; I hate that.

"What n-no." I shook my head.

"Then it should be all good. I mean look at both of you. You were kissing before he even knew who you were. Frankly, that surprised how he got with me soon afterwords. Of course I think he thought I was you. I mean I touched up my look and everything just for it. I was treated with scorn and I learned 'Never let anyone else tell you, you cannot do anything. You must forge your own opportunities with your own hand' Those words were right." She frowned,
"If I didn't follow that advice I'd be a fool doing who knows what with my life. That is why I never let anyone get in my way. I made myself look like you and changed a few events in my history to match yours." So it was true. She did trick him and my theory was right.

"What is your other opinion that you think I am here?" I faced her.

"I accepted an opportunity. It suppose to look good on my resumé. I am going to be an assistant in researching a beta testing of an underwater device. It suppose to go in the sea and take pictures. The company is hoping to find species, monsters, and different creatures in the sea no one knows about and learn of their existence...." She laughed, "But you already know about that right."

"How did you know that I learned from the source itself?" I bit on my tongue refusing to show any anger when she called the sea life monsters and creatures.

"Your expression says it all. You want me to give access to go there yourself, don't you? This must be very......very hard for you." She almost sounded like she was mocking me.
"You must not like that we might find out about the creatures that lie in the sea. You must be terrified some of your close ones could be seen. Well let me tell you a secret, Miracine..." She whispered in my ear. "I have the first beta model to be placed in the sea right here."

My eyes widened. "Really?"

"Yes..." She stepped close to the edge of the area where the land reaches sea. "Do you want it? Or do you want to drop it in the sea?" I stared at her. Why was she going to allow me to do this?

I took a step to her so that I was able to touch the device. I felt around it, and realized it had a three-sixty degree viewing. She was apparently going to let me have it to place in the sea, so I might as well take it and destroy it. "Yes, may I?"

She laughed lightly. "You are asking something from me? How foolish." I tried to get it, but her grip on the device would not loosen. Of course she is like this.

"Well, are you going to loosen your grip on it?" My anger took the best of me when I asked the question. I did hate her.

"Sure..." Right as she loosen her grip she took a step forward. I immediately took a step forward and clumsy as ever, she put her foot out causing me to trip on the very edge of the place when the land meets sea.
I fell forward to the point where I even tried to reach up to try to grab her hand to prevent my fall into the sea. She just stood there not even caring that I fell. She was laughing and it angered me. I was in the sea filled with water.

"Help! Please get Melody or...Seivon...o-or my brother... I cannot swim!" I was panicking. Please get one of them.
I do not care if you hate me or I hate you, just get one of them please. You or anyone else cannot see me like this without realizing it.

"That is not my problem. Maybe then everyone would be happy if you drowned, and he would go back to me." I was going to kill her.
How dare she say something like that. He would never do that to me.

"Why you insolent, annoying copycat!" I yelled at her

The girl looked around aimlessly. "Huh, where you go?" I made my flesh blend in with the water.
"Are you drowning yet? I really hope so. Hmmm and maybe I should just drop this device while I am at it."

"Noo...I'll wait a little more. I need to make sure it has been one more minute. Twenty more seconds Mira dear. I really hope we find something interesting in your dead corpse body. Maybe unique and odd creatures would swarm to it. That would be just spectacular. Have you drowned yet? You really need to hurry up... I am tired of waiting, princess. Oh hurry up. You have to drown already." She sighed impatiently,
"I have to show you to the assistant in the lab I am helping at. I am sure your dead body would love it there along with the people who would love to see you, Miracine. Well? Can you hear me? Are you dead? I am waiting for you. You are drowning and dead now, right? Now I am going to drop this device so that it will-"

"HEY!" A voice stopped her in the middle of her sentence. My brown haired sapphire human has arrived.
