      "Ermmm" I yawned stretching my arms above my head as a musical note played through a device that wakes me up a certain time. 
      An alarm clock.  Yeah that is what it is called.  I rubbed my eyes sitting on what humanics call a bed.

      Humanics also have these other weird devices.  I think they are called phones or something.  They used them to talk and text other humanics.  And then a ding was coming from that device.  I was getting a message.

Me: Oh Young Atlantic you should have said so

      I changed her name to Young Atlantic and added some emojis and other things humanics tend to do.

Me: I'll remove the last emoji but I will keep the rest.  You worry too much besides you can change mine to Little Pacific, I do not mind.

Me: I will ask Azurine

      There is no way she is staying here, but before I could see her respond, Azurine came in the room.

     "Oh good you are awake.  I just became aware of what happened yesterday.  Why didn't you say anything to me." She frowned.   
     Oh....Yeah.  I guess I should tell her everything, but if she finds out I saw him she might make me move again.  And I love it here.

     "Oh...Sorry I just forgot." I shrugged giving her my best innocent smile, in which she her head sighing.

     "You have to tell me everything.  I just found out there could've been a tsunami and it was caused by no other than those dirty sea demons!  Do you know what this means?" I shook my head.
      "They could've seen your humanic form and you could have turned into a mermaid making it easier for them to get to you.  I heard they got two humanics and they somehow survived." She nodded some more,
     Apparently neighboring princess of the Rivalkai came and stopped them.  I heard she saved both of them too.  My, what a hero." She sighed dramatically and I just narrowed my eyes.
      If I did that, I would have gotten so much backlash.  She does anything and is a horror and everything I do is bad?  No, this isn't happening.

     "I was actually there with her....." I told her quietly, "I thought you might be upset so I didn't say anything.  They didn't see me in my humanic form.  It was only because the two humanics were brought under and I wanted to help them." I lowered my head.

      "You know the rules about helping drowning humanics!" She started to raise her voice.  She calls her a hero and calls me a disgrace.
      Seriously?!  Oh no I don't want to get in an argument with anymore mermaids.

      "But if the sea demon wasn't there they would have been fine.  Kaisa helped too." I told Azurine, but she wouldn't have it.

     "You already broke that rule too...." She shook her head, "Imagine what they do to you if they found out."
     And if she does something it is fine, but if I do it oh no it is terrible.  It is such a crime because I did it.

      "About breaking that rule from four years ago....." I trailed off, how do I tell her this.  If I don't she will be mad later when she finds out.
      "Ummmm he might have been one of the two who we ummmm saved?" Her eyes went wide with her mouth hanging open.  I would've joked about catching a seafly but now it was not the time.  Maybe I shouldn't of told her that and let her find out on her own.

      "Did he see you?" She asked, giving me a look, "And did he give your pendant back like you claimed he was going to once you saw him?"

      "I uhhh... He was but then I got distracted and uh..." I muttered quietly, "No I don't have it.  However, it will protect me easier if I do not have it with me." 
      I am still upset on what happened when I saw him.  Why did I kiss him when he only wanted to be friends?  He did kiss back, but still.
     I mean I....I will be lying if I said I hated it.  It was amazing.  Yet, I told him it was wrong of me to not respect his wishes.  How could I have said that to him.  A masculine humanic like him stole my heart, who would of thought?
      I get grief from all the mermaids all the time.  I wonder if he feels the same way and maybe if he does I could be with him.

      "What did you do?" She scanned my face.  "You are making that 'I-did-something-and-I-Feel-Bad-About-It' kind of face." She crossed her arms trying to read me. 

      "I....might have.....uh.......kissed him?" I muttered in a small voice.

"YOU DID WHAT?!" She screamed with her eyes almost popping out of her head.  She basically exploded.

     Seahorses....

     I really shouldn't tell her every little thing.

      "I know, I know!  This is why I said nothing because everyone would yell at me. Nobody understands.  I feel like nobody is on my side." I sighed,
      "But I feel bad because when I did that, he said right before he kinda implied he wanted to be friends and get to know me before anything happens.  Not because I kissed him and when I kissed him it was like an incredible-"

      She interrupted me.

     "I can't-I can't believe this...." She sighed, "You cannot do this!  The council and their rules." She muttered freaking out,
     "I will protect you for eternity, I shall give up my own life to ensure no spirit sea demon has taken you captive.  And being with that humanic will cause danger because they seen him and will follow him!" Azurine exclaimed.

      "But I can't just forget him, Azurine," I exclaimed to her, "Please understand I really like him.  Haven't you really liked someone?" Maybe if she can relate she will go easier on me.

      "A mermaid." She responded,  "Is he a mermaid?  No.  You know the rules.  Maybe you can forgive me in the future, but I'm looking out for you.   Humanics are careless and once people find out about us, we will be shipped to a circus for display." She shook her head sternly giving me a cold stare.

A circus, I wanted to laughed.  That's a bit crazy.

      "But......" I tried to protest with her, but it was no use.

     "No buts!  If only your brother would see you, he would be disappointed in you." I rolled my eyes,  "Maybe I should call him, he knows how to protect you." She shook her head with her lips in a thin line.
     Not my brother.  I don't want him to be involved and then he might go ninja-turtle on me. 

"What?  No!  Don't....." She raised her eyebrow at me.  "Don't bring Mivozene into this.  If it makes you feel better Seivon knows me as two different people.  I made it that way so he would not say anything or act a certain way while I am in this form."  I told her, even though that was a bit of a lie.

"Ohh, he has a name know!" Azurine exclaimed, "Once you start naming them...." She huffed nostrils flaring back and forth.

"We have names too!" I rebutted crossing my arms at how ridiculous she is being.

"Ugh just go to that school and I will think about this." She sighed, rubbing her forehead.

"I will gladly." I informed her.
      I have decided.  I am going to tell Seivon, I can't just be his friend.  I want to do more than that, but I also want to get to know him at the same time.

~M~E~R~M~A~I~D~'S~~D~R~E~A~M~

      I was clearly distracted too much on Azurine's words that I wasn't paying attention to where I was going.  And before I noticed Bam.  I accidentally bumped into someone.

      "HEY WATCH WERE YOU GOING YOU LITTLE-" He yelled until he noticed what I looked like, "Uhh Hahaha, I'm sorry" His angry level went from 180-0 really quickly.

"Leave me alone." I told him coldly.  Humanics are so annoying sometimes, but they are so fun to mess with.

      "You are that new girl, aren't cha'?" He exclaimed, still bothering me as I tried to leave.  " She was showing her around." He held his hand out and I shook it so he would leave me alone.
      I personally thought he was bipolar and was being nice because I was a feminine.  

      Sexist much?

     "Wait...Y-your hand!" I exclaimed, "It has water on it?" I need to get out of here.

     "It's just some water, don't tell me you hate getting your clothes wet?"  He made an amused expression.
      If he only knew. I need to either dry off with a towel or go somewhere nobody would dare to check.

      1 It's not just water.  Looking both directions, I ran away to find a hiding place.
     2 There were students everywhere.  Some weren't paying attention, others were in large groups talking to each other.
     3 But they were blocking the way or starring at me just because I am new. I was frantic and decided to ignore everyone.
     4  I pushed through the crowd not giving a care in the world. I was by the edge of the school where only the troubled came.
     5. Feeling gills appear and scales sprouting on my flesh, I jumped behind the school where the ocean lies.  My flesh became one tail and I was breathing heavily.

     Five minutes.

     Five minutes was all it took for the water to change me.  I absolutely love water.  I love swimming, but when I am like this I must not show anyone.  The moment my skin touch water my shells will grow causing scales to form on my flesh.  Gills will form on my neck and as before I'd be a finned one.

      Hiding behind the school, I noticed the rose bushes Kaisa mentioned and swam slowly over. And besides her was Seivon.  If only I could get hid attention, though.

      Aha!

      I will make a water bubble. Then I will expand it large enough and that is when it will splash him on the head.  A simple water move which won't require my pendant.  Now all I need is some water....which is all around me. 
     Just like how I took out the spirit demon from yesterday, I take some water and making it into a bubble.  Slowly I get it to float over to him and then I watched.

      I listened as Kaisa asked him, "Seivon....Can I talk to you?" He awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck.  Was it because I said something to him?

      "Uhhh sure.  What is it?" He asked her.  I just hope she doesn't try anything or take away any of his memories.

     "I mean can I talk to you alone." Kaisa rephrased making it ten times awkward for him.

      "Oh uhhhh.... if you like me I am sorry.  I don't feel the same and I only want one person..." He began to explain, before stopping to think.  I wanted to laugh at what he thought.  It was kinda cute.
      "..Although I could help you find someone if you want-" Seivon smiled politely.

      "NO!  W-what?" The Rivalkai mermaid sniffled a laugh.  I was laughing too.  I can't believe he thought she liked him? "I wanted to talk to you about my friend." He looked at her with a confused expression.
      "The sea...I heard there are spirits want to know about more things like that." Then realization hit him, but it wasn't the only thing that hit him.  Outta nowhere a giant bubble filled with water hit him in the head.
      Except it wasn't from nowhere and it was from me.

      Kaisa probably knew what was up.

      "What the-" He began to question.

      "Pffahahahah!  I guess water decided it wanted to lay its eggs on your head for a day!" Ashton burst out laughing like a madman.  "Now you'll be an egg head, a water egg head!  H-hysterical!  How hysterical!"

      "Oh shut it...." He chuckled at Ashton's reaction, "Now where did that came from." Seivon looked around trying to figure out what happened.

He is so slow.

     Kaisa saw Miracine in the distance at sea and began to figure out why she did that.  If Miracine needs to talk to him she was going help him.

      "It looked like it came from the sea, but that is just me guessing.  Did you know there so much that people don't know about the ocean?" I watched as he stared at her in realization.

      "I'm....I am going to ask the office about my schedule change." I grinned as I heard Seivon lie for me.

...

      "Seivon?" I whispered when he came closer.

     "Violet?!" He exclaimed in shock, "What are you doing here?  If someone saw you...." He began to panic and get worried just like some of the others, but when he did it, I felt like he actually cared.

      "Huh?!" I questioned what he said at first, "Violet?". I mean my hair was violet and I appreciate that he recognized the color unlike others who just say purple.

     "I uh..." He quickly turned away.  His cheeks were turning bright, "I didn't know your name and I just called you that in my head."

     "Oh." I smiled shyly, "I like it."  I then took a deep breath, "But look, no one saw me.  I just wanted to talk to you." I whispered avoiding his stare.

     "Well now we are talking.  I'm just worried, you know." He didn't even hide how worried he was that he ended up hugging me.

     "Are you upset with me?  I kinda wanted to apologize-" He cut me off so easily it hurt.  He must be mad that I did that

    "For kissing me?" He raised his eyebrows, "Why?  I liked the kiss."

     "What?!  I mean... That makes sense, but you wanted to get to know me and become friends.  And I didn't respect that." I looked down, not meeting his eyes.  Mermaids don't apologize, but to him I would.
      "I can tell it has been bothering you.  But I really, really, and I mean really like you and I don't think I can just be friends" I bit my lip nervously.  I am not going to be one of those people who doesn't show that I like someone.

      "What?  You that why you left?!" He was surprised with his eyebrows raised. "Why didn't you say so yesterday?  Besides.." He rubbed his neck as he turned a bit pink,
     "I didn't mean we couldn't do that.  I just thought desires or marriage is too fast?  I want to kiss you.  I like you, I have for years, but I also want to get to know you."

      "You do?!" My eyes gleamed at the fact.

     "Yes, I feel the same way we'll you might like me more wanting to get married or desired already, but what's bothering you.  Is it Kaisa?" My heart skipped a beat-well would've if he didn't mention Kaisa in that sentence. 
      A complete turn off.  But he feels the same way.  I am like a little feminine inside my head.

      "Young Atlantic?  She probably will say the same things as the others, but might be nicer about it.  And....I really do not want Azurine to result to that.  If my brother came there would be utter chaos and I can not forget his hatred is far worse than any council member to humanics." I felt my ears go back, making a sad expression.
      "And then they will come and they will be upset with me again.  Why does the council have so many rules and are against humanics so much?  And why-"

     "Hush, my princess.." His finger came to my lips at once silencing my rant.

      "Yes?" A tiny smile formed on my mouth feeling my cheeks redden. And before long his lips were softly on mine.
     I sighed when I breathed in.  I tasted his breath upon mine.  It was warm and flamed like a fire surrounding my heart.  I was the sea butterfly that was attracted to the fire.

     "Your lips are sweet as Camellia."  I was confused.  What is Camellia? He must of saw my confusion and to that he replied with "It's a flower."

     "They must be lovely then." I stated.

     "I wish I could show you on land.  That's my only wish." He whispered as he began to caress my cheek.  In leaned into him with a sad expression.

    "I want to I want to, it is just I-" My words were cut off by the bell's ringing.

Ring!
Rinnnnnnnnnnng!

    "Class!" I exclaimed.  "I have to go...I uh mean you have to go to class." I smiled innocently, pretending to make a mistake.

     "What did you say?  You go here don't you?" He looked at me determined, "Can't you break one more rule for me?"

    "You have to figure it out!" I tell him, "That's the only way.  I physically cannot you or I will basically die."

     "I.. I understand." He told me softly, "I have to go to class.  They changed my entire schedule too." He kissed me on the cheek before leaving.  I started swimming around to the other side of the building and there I got out and waited for my scales to shrink.

     I ran into class.  Literally running as fast as these two legs could take me.

     And all eyes were on me.

    "You are late." The teacher sighed and shook his head.  Doesn't he have anything better to do than state the obvious?

     "I am aware.  My apologies." I sat down as students began to whisper among themselves and I could only think of that kiss that left me in a bliss.

     ...The kiss that left me in a bliss...The kiss that left me in a bliss....
        It was so warm and pleasant.  It was like I could forget the whole world and just be there with......

    "Excuse me?" Breaking my thoughts all the students were staring at me along with the grumpy two-eyed teacher.

     "H-huh?" I exclaimed, looking up,  "Err w-what?  Is there something on my face?"

     "I asked you a question!" He shouted angrily.

      "How do you know I will know the answer? I just got here yesterday.  What's the question?" He was old.  Around fifty years, my senior I would say.  He got some old crinkly skin that looks all dried up and wrinkly.  His eyes are bulging out of his sockets and he is just frowning.

      "What is the main theory that the ocean has been different lately?" He asked the question again.  What do the humanics think?
      I don't know and I can't tell the truth.  Suddenly I thought about what Seivon said.
      What was it?  Erm....

"...people think the tsunamis causes trash or food items to be sucked into the waters ruin the sea's environment along with the fish."

     "The main theory people think is that there have been any tsunamis lately that cause items to been brought into the water and it has been disrupting the sea's environment along with the fish." The entire class' jaws dropped.   
     What?  Did they not think I knew that?

    "I-incredible!" The teacher excluded, "I haven't even taught this to the class yet. Only my advanced class would have known."

     "Your saying everyone here is stupid?" I asked innocently.  I was bored and might as well have a little fun with this.

     Everyone frowned glaring at the teacher.  "N-no that is not what I meant...." The teacher trailed off.

     "Then what did you mean?" I rested a hand on my cheek with my arm crossed as I held a smug expression on my face.

     "They are a higher level than this class and this class hasn't gone to that point yet." He stated proudly, shifting his spectacles.

    "So what you mean is they are being taught a higher level because they are more important to you than this class? Wow!" I gasped loudly and quite dramatically. "I didn't know you liked teaching things at a different level because you showed favoritism."
      The students were either glaring or laughing at him.  Either way the teacher's face was priceless. I was laughing at myself in my head.

    "Well since you insist you and your classmates are welcome to read ahead."  Then he started teaching something else.
    And quite soon afterwords the bell rang and I was surrounded by tons of students.

"O-M-G! No one has ever done that to him before!"

"He always teaches us things so slow."

"It is about time we move on."

"You completed my dream."

"Did you see the look on his face."

"You just knocked his socks off!"

"I have a feeling his socks probably stink"

"Can we be friends?"

      The students all crowded me and told me many things after the class ended.

      "Oh, you're welcome I guess?" I shrugged sheepishly.  They were still around me until I interrupted "I have to go."

     That was my lovely schedule I memorized.

      People say I have cold hands.  And my skin?  It's smooth and just as cold.  It is that coldness that feels almost misty that it is wet, but it is not remotely wet at the same time.  I sat in a seat in the middle row next to Atlantic.

     "Umm... Could you not sit there?" I turned my head to find Melody standing behind me with her arms crossed.

     Oh no, she hates me again.

     "Why?" I whispered.  Does she not want my company?

     "Two of my friends are being transferred into this class."

"No.  I like to sit with At...."I realize what I was saying and stopped myself.  "I like to sit at this desk with Kaisa."

"F-fine..." She mutters seating behind Kaisa.  I laid my head on the desk sighing.

     Just then the doors opened and Ashton came in with Seivon.  They both must of had their schedules changed and eyed both Kaisa and Melody before looking towards me.
      Please... recognize me.  Please...realize who I am.  Please talk to me.  Please become my desired.  Just please realize I am the mermaid from your dreams...

     An excited blushed formed on my cheeks just thinking about that.  I was dancing inside my head....
    All good thoughts.

     "You!" Seivon pointed his finger towards me.  "Where were you this morning?"
