        "Oh I just got a paper from that pile we made since, I usually can not think of things on the spot. What an interesting piece...." She told us calmly.
       "I do not want to with people that are not from-"

       "Hey Kaisa....I wonder will it get viral?  Will people that know of you find out?  I mean what will your parents say especially not hearing from yourself?" Miracine grinned,
       "Especially if they are not someone that is.... do not have abnormal circumstances." Wait Mira knows of Kaisa's parents, but if Kai is from the sea then so are her parents and as far as I know she never let us meet them once.
        How would Mira know Kaisa parents since most mermaids don't like humans like me?  What does Miracine mean by abnormal circumstances?  Is she the mermaid of my dreams?

      "No pictures, please?" Kaisa was actually pleading and begging. 
     Wait pictures? Those kinds of pictures?

     "Fine since you will end up using it against me once your questioned, but that does not mean you are not out of what you been doing this entire time..." I did not know what Mira been talking about.
     Rolling my eyes I watched Kaisa kissed Mivozene slowly on the cheek.  She looked irritated, but at the same time she wasn't.  I looked over and Ashton looked hurt.

      "I need to go take care of something that does not concern any of you imbeciles." Mivozene got up and left.
       Strange...  Miracine watched him go and slowly followed him.  I wonder what that is about.

       "Alright while we wait let's have a drink!" A voice from the one who lead this game spoke up.  She was grinning as she and many others left to get some drinks.  There was, water, soda, tea, juice, some minimal alcoholic drinks ect.
       You know, the usual drinks people have that are my age.  I guess that one thing about living here.  There is no drinking age.

       I walked over to the back and I heard voices.

      "What do you mean?  I have no idea what you are talking about." That voice... I know that voice. 
        But I cannot seem to think who it sounds like.  I think it someone from school.

       "Now now, do not play koi with me, little sister." Another voice said mockingly.

        "But Mivo....I always loved the fish koi." The first voice laughed.
Mivo....Mivozene?  But that means the first voice is Pacific, but she sounds different like...
       Does she change her voice when she is around people to fit in?  But her voice sounds so familiar, who is it?  

     "You are acting stupid again.  Jeez sis what is wrong with you?  I gave you the most precious thing in the world that everyone would love to have and how do you repay me?  You go off saving a humanic, I tried to quit your attics by telling the council, and now you go to this place just because that same humanic is there?" Her brother raised his voice,
   "What is wrong with you?  You are suppose to be my sister, a mermaid not a humanic with feelings and emotions!" There never been a person I hated more than Mivozene himself. 
      I can't stand the way he does things.  He acts so arrogantly, like he better than everyone, and hates humans for reasons that only apply to few humans.  

     "Well maybe I do not want it at all.  Maybe I want to have a little bit of emotions and feelings." I heard Violet yell back.  I just want to hug her.

     "How....how could you, Mina?"  Why does he call her Mina?  Kaisa once called Miracine that once...
      I remember 'Mina', told him she hated being called that.  What is Mina short for Minira?  Minzira?  But none of those names were people that I knew.

       "I did nothing wrong.  If you and everyone else let me do as I please than we would not fight.... Why do you never call me my real name?  It is always Mina,  Oh sis, my dear, darling, sweetheart, sister, dearest, my precious....." Violet's voice trailed off as she referred to them.
      Right now I would really want him to call her by her real name so I would be able to figure it out.  But wait would that be cheating?  And maybe she really wants me to figure it out.

      "Oh that?  Well Mina dear, that is a simply answer I just like to." He smiles charmingly,
     "Now before you change the subject again I want you to deliver a message.  I know who he is even if he pretends to not be him and not know me.  I will find him somewhere when you are not here and dispose of him so my little sweet sister will return to her self that always looks up to her dearest oldest brother." I really hope he doesn't find out I am here. 
       Does he not get anything about us?  Okay she might be still mad at me and dislike me, but still.  Can't he see before that I made her happy, she made me happy?

      "What...no...stop!" She cried out, "Don't you dare...." She sounded worried and I couldn't help but be excited.  She does care for me.  I just wanted to go out to her, hug her, and take her away from her brother.

     "What is the deal between you and the Rivalkai princess anyways?" Violet suddenly asked her brother. 

     "Deal?" He raised his eyebrows, "There is no deal between us." That is what they all say.  I want to know their relations myself.

      "Oh come on I may look innocent and sweet, but you of all people know I am not." I heard her laugh, "Is she helping you and are you and Atlantic going to-"

      "Wait!" He shouted interrupting her sentence.  I thought he hated it when people paused their sentences.  "Not so loud I thought I heard something...."
       I crept back between the walls of my hiding place.  He would hate it if he found out I was listening.

    "You heard something?  Like what?  No one is dumb enough to leave this early.  Everyone who wants to be here is inside but us." Now I am dumb? 
      Gee thanks Violet. But wait if the only ones who is not inside is them than I could find out who Violet is.

       "I hope you are right...and the answer is no.  You know sis, I am hoping you stop going to reckless places like this one.  Anything could happen and you would be in danger. Soon enough it is out and everyone is trying to go in the sea to see more of us.  But the thing is no humanic can breathe that long..." He whispered,
    "Unless it is given help by the sealife.  I mean there would be less humanics but you do not want that right?  Well I will see you inside hiding, pretending, trying, revealing..." He trailed off.

    "Pretending for some, others you are not, trying to be revealed, hiding from the ones that threaten what you do, revealing to some.  It is a game where you never find what satisfies you huh?" I heard him shake his head.  He was walking closer to the doors.  I took off going far away from that area as I could, but something was so shamelessly bothering me.  Who was that voice that I always heard? 
     Violet as a human sounds like someone I know.  I just can't think of it.  I wish I gotten a look at what she looked like better, but it was dark out and I could not see except for two figures.

        As I was walking back I saw some note on the ground that said:
 Medi..a deserve to know m..re of the tr...th abo..t everything.  The... are the only on...s that I can tell, not even hi...  Re...emb..r 11/24/15 the day you... chan...ed. 

     I picked it up thinking what an odd message.  Although some of the words are hard to read and I could not understand them, I wonder what it is talking about.  If I find anyone I should tell them about this.  It could be important to whoever dropped it.  The only thing that gets me was the date. 
      It has to be a coincidence right?  November.  24.  2015.  I was 13 years.  I was on the ship that day.  Everything changed.  I almost drowned.  I was saved.  Melody and Ashton survived.  I was going to be like the rest of them.  It is probably nothing.  I could just be imagining things.

       "Hey, what's up?" Melody saw me looking a bit confused.  I mean I was.  There something that been bothering me ever sense I met Mira and I don't know why.  "Hey... What is it?"

      "I just found some odd note on the ground." I gave the note to her and her eyes widen.

      "Well that is something!" Melody exclaimed examining the note carefully,  For some reason I felt as if Melody wasn't telling me something. 
       But why would she not tell me something?  She had no reason not to, so I must be overthinking things.

       "I am going to find who dropped this and give it back to them, it seems important.  But I wonder what it is all about." I heard Melody laughed and I looked at her confused.

     "Why do you care so much?  It is just some letter or note?" I didn't understand what Melody was coming from.  We both went back to where we were earlier.  Everyone from before was there...wait Mivozene hadn't come back yet. 
      And I did not see Miracine anywhere.  It doesn't make sense where could she be?  Could it be?  Was it she?

     "Ashton?  Kaisa?" I called out to both of them who seemed like they were avoiding both of their eye contact with each other.  I couldn't think why they could be avoiding each other. 
     "Did any of you loose something like this?" I showed them the note to which they both shook their head.  Why is it I am always finding bits of pieces to every small mystery and none of them I can figure out?  I am not that dumb, right?

        Just then I saw a flash of pur....(no she always hates it when I'd say her hair was purple) violet in the crowd.  I blinked my eyes to make sure I was seeing right.  It could be another Malseania case though.  But I was seeing correctly, but what I saw happen made me in shock. 
      It was her....but it was not.  There was Mivozene walking Miracine with his arm around her like she was some delicate flower unable to take care of herself, but that is not what I get from Miracine.  Maybe people who don't know her well enough might think that, but not me. 
      There is something she is hiding.  She was with Mivozene, but why?  Why is she even with someone like him?  What do they have to do with each other?  She is not from the sea right....Unless she is like Malseania.  Erghmmn, why does everything have to be so confusing?  It is Miracine.  That is what is always confusing. 
       She always hiding and not telling anything, but she has to be hiding something and maybe this note belongs to her.  And maybe she will tell me what it means...
        She must know about the sea or something.  She could of figured it out she seems smart and a mostly quick learner.  Wait what if she only by him because they are threatening her?  It makes sense, she is under something like...like....blackmail.  This is why you should never use blackmail.

        They both came over and Mivozene dropped his arm and she separated from him instantly.  "So what did I miss?"

     "Well nothing much....from us.  But Kaisa on the other hand." Melody grinned widely while looking at Kaisa who glared at her in return.  What did Kaisa do?

       "What are you talking about?  Nothing important happened!" Kaisa crossed her arms angerly as she shook her head denying everything.

     "So that picture you been talking about...so is it what I think it is?" Melody grinned eagerly again.

     "Be quiet you do not know what you are speaking of." Kaisa spoke prosperously not moving an inch.

      "What happened?" Mivozene all of the sudden said.  He stared at her as if he was trying to read what she was thinking.  If he did that to me I would think he was trying to reach into my soul and do who knows what.  He looked alert and concerned for Kai.

     "N-nothing happened.  Meody is just being insane." It must be really bad if Kaisa is hiding it from even Mivozene.

     "Oh really?  I known you for like what... Eight years?...Nine years?  Regardless I known you for awhile making me able to know how you lie and that is clearly one of them." Melody mouth hanged open. 
      Miracine seemed to not be surprised.  Ashton looked uncomfortable and me well I'm me.

      "Now now guys you better close your mouths if you want to keep the flies out!" Miracine exclaimed out of nowhere.

      "Hey Mivozene..." Melody begin with a grin.  She was grinning a lot today, huh?  "Can you tell when Miracine is lying?  Or tell us when she is?"

      "Huh?!  What are you talking about?" Miracine suddenly spoke up and now she was glaring at Melody.

     "Why would I waste my time on her when she does not want what I offer her?" He muttered bitterly.  Did they fight about something?  Miracine rolled her eyes.

      "Me, lying why would you care about that?  Oh! Haha oh ha ha!" Miracine burst in a chorus of light but loud, joyful laughter.  "I only speak the truth.  I can not believe you think that of me.  Why would I have a reason to lie to any of you?"

     "Yeah sureee.  I could name a few." Melody spoke up again making Mira's eyebrows shot up.  She looked almost nervous.  "With what you are hiding."  What does Melody know about Miracine?

      "Secret?  What secret?" Miracine's eye looked surprised and smiled with a tiny smile.  She was lying now I was positive of it.

     "Drop it.  Anyway is this any of yours? I found it earlier."  I showed them the note I've be questioning ever since I found it.

      "Wait...That is mine." Miracine took it from me with hesitation.  She looked worried.

       "What is it for?" I asked her and she hurried to put it away.

       "Oh nothing to worry about." She laughed brushing it off.  Very subtle.  I saw her shove it into a pocket and then took it out ripping it into pieces.

       We all picked up a paper and had to do it by the end of the night.  How stupid!  I read it and shook my head.  Who makes these things?

     "C-can I get a new one?" I looked over to see Miracine pale as anything.

       "What does it say?" Melody turned to her.

       "Ummm....Tell y-your worse fear" Miracine shuddered to herself.

      "Worse one?  That is not that bad is it?" Melody asked and she nodded.  Who's stupid idea was that?  Mira looked away and why did I feel like she was lying. 
      For the first time now I just saw her hair glimmered in the light looking more than usual.  As if she was elegant and someone important.  Miracine looked at me and then looked away. 
     And I had to force myself to look at her not as noticeably.  But the strange reason is I still wanted to look at her.

      "I got one that say take off an article of clothing and put it in a box before giving it to someone across from you." Melody spoke up. 
       I swear Ashton came up with all of the tasks didn't he?

      "Can we switch Miracine!  Please I'll do anything for another!" Kaisa looked desperate and sad.

      Miracine looked at Kaisa's and shook her head laughing. "Oh Kaisa! I like this one for you.  It is perfect."  Kaisa eyes flew in horror and was practically begging on her knees.

       Melody turned around taking something off and placed it in a box.  She then turned around grinning again.  Jeez this woman is grinning all day.  She gave it to someone.  "What is this?!" The person shrieked. 
       Well she had to give clothes, what did you expect?  Well Melody probably wouldn't put something some perverted moron wanted to see.

      "Oh, just a sock."  Whoever got it sounded sad and was complaining. I heard others laugh or sound upset as well.  I have to say Melody that is kind of funny unless they had some kind of fetish.

        When people laugh I noticed something.  They all laugh differently.  Some people look like they are doing a weird dance and then they throw their head down in laughter.  Others stomach's move oddly.  There are those who sound like a hyena or a dying goat.  Sometimes people just laugh and it is hard to tell unless they are near them. 
         Then there is those people who laugh forever for what seems like hours and they have tears in their eyes.  But out of all those people they are together and being together is what counts.  Erk, I mentally gag at myself for acting so sentimental and emphasizing laughter.

       I wasn't paying attention for awhile after that.  I think Kaisa was saying something that people were laughing about, but I couldn't follow what it was or what it was about.  I just could not focus.  I just wanted to see her.  I wanted to help her.  I wanted to see what is wrong.  But why is that note just bothering me?  Was it really Miracine's? 
       It is as if....No....No...No t-that couldn't be!  I...no...I have no idea...I don't even know what is right and wrong anymore.  This is crazy and I erghh I am not sure.  I think I am going insane that just so... Why me?  Maybe I do know and I don't want to admit it.

       I got up and stepped away from everything.  I couldn't handle this.  Not now.  I just need time to think.  I sighed, she was right and as I hate to admit it I am stupid- I was.  Just as I took a few steps out the door, somebody covered my eyes.

      "Who the-" They, whoever they are gripped my mouth disabling me from saying anything.  I pushed all around my throwing empty swings of my arms.  Whoever they are seemed to move around me.  I felt them removed their grip from my jaw. 
       "What do you erghmmn....-" Then they pressed their mouth to mine, stepping on my feet in the process.  The only thing those lips felt familiar.  Was it Malseania or uhhh...some random person?  And don't look at me like that. 
       If you kissed someone you will be able to tell if they are familiar by the way and kind that they kiss.  That being said I for some reason was kissing this person back.

       "I am sorry... I just missed this." Their voice whispered as I felt their presence leave me.  I blinked twice.  What is with everything.  You know what, I am just leaving and I tell Mel I had some things to deal with. 
       Should I tell her what is going on...Ye...No.  Not yet.  I just hope....She is the one... and...

I am right.

I think I know who she is now.

Mermaids aren't always just good.  They can have eerie and dark traits to them too.

P.S. Found the picture on google just saying that fits Miracine perfectly.  Her tail blueish aqua and her hair is obviously right.
