Miracine Seaton, the Pacifican mermaid who now wears the crown of the Kimoshei Kingdom was feeling a mixed of things. She didn't know what is was exactly, but it was some kind of human feeling or emotion. She felt something great for Seivon Rivers.
After planning with Seivon to track down the mysterious spy who reports everything she does, Miracine decided to go for a swim thinking about everything. She couldn't possibly go back to class after what happened.
Melody Medina was already in class waiting for Seivon to come from wherever he was coming from. She didn't know what Seivon and Miracine were up to. She didn't know Miracine and Seivon also had a plan between just the two of them.
As soon as he came in to class, she noticed he had an odd smile plastered on his face. She gave Seivon a warm smiled when he sat down. When he returned it his smile was almost secretive. It was a small smile as if he was lost in thoughts. Melody wondered if he recently saw the mermaid of his dreams.
Seivon felt different since her arm brushed past him, but he doesn't know why. Something about Miracine's self that she is hiding reminds him of the mermaid. But he still wasn't sure it would be possible. He needed two same traits that proved they were the same. And unless he gets that, he is positive they are two different people.
"Seivon? What....happened to you?" Melody looked at Seivon in amazement. He looked like someone took his breath away.
"I uh...oh...I well...." Seivon couldn't get a proper sentence out without stuttering.
"Did you see her?" Melody lowered her voice. "You know...your mermaid?" Seivom blushed when she said the words 'your mermaid.'
"What? N-no...I was just talking with Miracine." Melody raised her eyebrow at his comment.
"Come again? You weren't with the mermaid, but you were with her? And she made you feel that way." She smiled slyly. "Why? What did you talk about."
"Melody!" Seivon whispered yelled. "What do you not understand about me having girlfriend?"
"But your going to end it off right?" She raised her eyebrows.
"Uhhhh....." He trailed off and avoided her gaze, "I don't want to be mean about it."
"Seivon Rivers." She grabbed the scruff of his shirt.
"People do it all the time. And it is clearly one-sided. Just say it isn't working out, or if you want to you can explain to her that you realized you obviously love someone else." She laughed playfully.
"L-love? W-what?! I don't love anyone....." Seivon's eyes were wide and his cheeks were slightly pink.
"Awww does the fact that you might love someone make you blush?" Melody teased her friend knowingly.
"Shut it." She looked away, "I don't love nobody."
"What?!" She exclaimed, "You don't love me or Ashton. Your two best friends since forever!"
Seivon pondered to think for a moment. "No. And I don't feel that way with anyone else either.". Then he looked down, "Well that's a different kind of love. A platonic friendship love."
"Not....yet." Melody smiles mischievously. "Oh what did Miracine want?"
"Just asking me to help her....Well and some other stuff, but... that is just it." Seivon didn't include anything about what Miracine wanted him to help her with. She said she wanted to keep it between them, so that was what he was doing.
Although he wanted to tell Melody about her hiding herself, he decided not to. Seivon thought maybe Melody could help convince Mira to stop pretending to be someone she is not.
"Oh..." Melody didn't believe that was all. "Too bad we do not have the same class as her right now."
"Yeah it is a shame." Seivon frowned just thinking about how he felt after she brushed her arm past him. It was weird to him, so he decided to ignore it.
Just then the teacher walked in and started class. The teacher rubbed his forehead sighing. "Another transfer student...great What is with all of these new students? First that Mira girl, then the Asian girl, and now this blue haired freak...." He grumbled under his breath.
"He has so many ear piercings and he looks like he is over twenty. It as if he is from some punk or emo band that all the teenagers these days go crazy for."
Just then an odd but familiar figure came into the room. He was either smirking or grinning. It was a mixed between those two.
He had dark navy hair to the side with his left ear showing. A line of earrings were pierced into that ear. Dark designs of a certain symbol were also patterned on his flesh.
"So this is a classroom? How very interesting." The male newcomer quickly scanned the students and slightly frowned when he noticed certain ones were in the same room. Ones that knew about something that could be use against him until he is taken and locked away.
"Attention everyone, we have a new student." The teacher spoke in an old raspy voice. Some students shouted with glee, while others smiles and waved, and some looked worried. "Now then why don't you introduce yourself?"
"Introduce myself? Why ask me to introduce myself when they have not even introduced themselves to me? If I told them who I was, I would clearly be at a disadvantage." The teacher opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out.
He was wrong about the new student. He wasn't a punk or emo at all. He spoke properly with politeness even when he was trying to be rude.
"Oh...well you can meet them later if you are that interested. Why don't you just tell us your age and about yourself so we can move on."
"I am not interested in meeting anyone. Everyone here is disgusting." The newcomer sighed.
"You dare ask me my age when I known of no other age in this room? What about your age? What about everyone else's age? I thought I made it clear I do not want to be at a disadvantage and especially being me I should not be under anyone." Once again the teacher was speechless. He didn't understand what this student was talking about.
"I just trying to let these students know about you." The teacher muttered, lowering his head.
"If they wanted to know they can ask themselves....but if you insist to know about something. I did scanned all of the people in this room and only the few that survived a shipwreck are ones I recognized." He stared dully,
"How unfortunate they survived. They lost many people they knew. It would of been much better if they perished too." The newcomer smiled while everyone else in the room shuddered at him saying that.
Why would he think it would of been better if the survivors sunk with the others? Melody and Seivon eyes flew with horror and had a queasy feeling in their stomachs.
"Oh...uh well that was interesting. Now take a seat." The teachers babbled unable to form any proper words to tell the student off.
"Listen, you do not have any rights over me especially being someone like you to tell me to take a seat. But I will take a seat, not because you asked me to, but because I simply want to be the furthest away from you." He went to the back row which was a row directly behind Melody and Seivon. He sat down putting his legs on the desk.
"Ughh! Does he even know who he is dealing with? Wait, who am I kidding? Of course he does not. These imbeciles do not know anything."
"Melody....I... who....I....can't... ugerghm..." Seivon was breathing way to hard.
What they dealt with was hard. No one else besides them could ever imagine being the few on the ship that survived out of the hundreds who died. Then a lot of those they knew that were close to them were known to be dead. They had fears and trauma attacks for several months.
They eventually got over them, but never had anyone trigger something like this before. Seivon's had them severe, but one of the reasons his healed was because he caught the eye of a violet haired mermaid.
"Seivon...c-calm down. It is okay." Melody put a hand on Seivon's shoulder. "We can just ignore him. He doesn't know what he is talking about."
"Yeah..... You....You are right." Nothing else happened for awhile to make the new student or anyone else become distress in any uproar. The man at the front was teaching from his desk.
"...The Dutch explorer Abel Tasman on December 13, 1642 found the south pacific island. It was later known as our country today....Let's see....go over the sinking ships...yes." The teacher muttered under his breather.
"Twelve years ago the ship Lin Marina which was named after one of the governor's family members crashed into the sea after a bad storm when the waves splashed down sinking the ship. It was very unfortunate that they got caught in the storm. But that section is our version of the Bermuda Triangle."
The professor began telling, "The unfortunate always happen in that area. Only few passed by it alive. There is always something happen for a storm of rain, thunder, or snow. Or maybe it is a technically difficulties and engine trouble. Even tons of careless divers never returned. Then four years ago the Pearled ships had waves crashing over that ship sinking it."
All of the sudden dry laughter was heard coming from the back row. It came from the navy haired one's mouth.
"What fun!" He exclaimed, "Imagine being on any ship and it crashing into the deep sea within you on it. It would be so incredible. And as for the people sinking....." He laughed even more dryly,
"Well they deserved it. All of them deserved it. It is there own fault for going there. If they want to live than keep away from there. It is so obvious. They should of just not go anywhere near that area." The newcomer smiled getting up.
"What is wrong with you?" Melody had enough. "Those are people that died. People's lives being destroyed because of unpleasant circumstances. Those circumstances caused these things to happen and you have the nerve to say it is incredible that those happened?". Melody exclaimed with her hands up in the air.
"There is nothing wrong with me. If you do not agree with me it would make sense with you believe that being lower than one like I. The best thing is watching things like that. Now do not get me started when someone is so beautifully struggling for air." He whispered chillingly,
"It is so lovely to watch them struggle to breathe, up until the last minute when they finally give up. It is such an appealing sight I would love to watch that all day."
"How could you be so insane." Unexpressed anger filled Melody.
"What if that was you drowning?"
"But atlas I would never drown. I am perfectly capable of swimming for amounts on end. Unlike some people in this room." He smirked looking at the two survivors.
"Sit down!" The teacher told the students who were riling in the back.
"This is completely boring. I think I rather leave then be in someplace like this." The student yawned drastically
"Don't you dare leave out that door." The old dude glared furiously at him but likewise he ignore the glare.
"Or what? Your threats do not mean anything if you do not act upon them." He walked out the door. "But it is too late for that because I already had." He laughed shaking his head.
"You did get points because I liked the amusement everyone gave me. Especially you, Melody Leison.... " He all of the sudden paused.
"Oh wait that is my kingdom ally's surname. I meant Melody Medina."
Everyone stared at shock as he left the classroom humming away. How peculiar!
~~~
Kaisa Leison. Known as Young Atlantic to some, but is the next to wear the crown of the Atlantic kingdom of Rivalkai. She along with Ashton and Malseania has a class together.
Miracine Seaton would've also been with them, but she was hanging out by the ocean by the sea. Kaisa, however, didn't know of the strange new student that would be too familiar to her.
The three of them wondered were Miracine headed off to. They wondered where she was at the time. She wasn't one to just skip a class and the possibility of something happening to her worried Kaisa very greatly.
"You both should stay here and I will find her." Kaisa gave them no time to respond as she left dashing out the door.
Now where would Mira be... If I was the Kimoshei Princess where would I go. Kaisa thought to herself.
"Aha! By the seaside" Kaisa exclaimed out loud. "I just need to find why she is there and what she is doing. I swear if I loose track of her Mivozene will-" Kaisa paused in her tracks and looked in front of her.
She rubbed her eyes to see if she was seeing right. Leaning arrogantly on the wall legs crossed, seaweed in his mouth like a cigarette was Mivozene himself.
"Mivozene will what? Now I would really appreciate if you finish that sentence, darling." A familiar voice met her ears. She widen her eyes in shock. She couldn't believe this.
"You know how I hate it when you speak in third person! And what are you doing here?" Kaisa starred at him aggravated.
"To cause chaos to the ones close to my Mina. I can not let her think she can get away with anything she does. She may wear the crown, she may be the one servants listen to, but I am still older than her and above her." He shrugged, "If I did something to the ones close to her maybe she will learn to get along with me."
"When have you ever gotten along with your sister?" She laughed, "Even then it was toxic."
Mivozene thought for a moment trying to think. "Oh uh.....When I was barely fifteen humanic years. I barely had a full grown tail we got along."
"That was roughly four years ago! You both are always arguing and wait what are you planning to do?"
"Huh?" Mivozene gleamed at her sudden interest. "Something that will make her feel distress."
"Do not kill anyone. Well not yet." She said slyly.
"Hmmm fine, but I will have you know my generosity is for you personally. And since we are still here when you were walking over here you said a statement you did not finish." He exclaimed,
"Do not think you can weasel out of that. I still want to know what you were going to say." Kaisa opened her mouth. She thought he forgot that.
"I was just going to say if something happened to her, you would kill me." She stated boredly. She still had an evil intent.
"Oh but you are wrong about that Atlantic. I would never kill someone like you." He laughed, looking at her.
"Why? What if I betrayed you? What if I did something you hate." She smirked at him, "What if I did something so terrible that if it was someone else you would end them right away?"
"What are you planning?" Mivozene asked the girl.
"Nothing!" She exclaimed and shook her head immediately, "Why do you trust me? I mean you are one of the most annoying mermaid to ever exist and I hate the life out of you all the time." Kaisa crossed her arms and turned the opposite direction from him.
"Our kingdoms did you forget? We have always been close allies besides my late mother and father knew yours quite well." He whispered,
"Do you not remember I would always accompany them to learn about things? I guess it make sense if you do not remember. And then when I saw you the first time a few weeks back since then you kept on disagreeing with me."
"That was you....That's right....." She shook out of a moment of shock and rolled her eyes. "Can you blame me when there is nothing likeable about you now." She told him flatly.
"Atlantic....." Mivozene then whispered a word in their language in her ear.
"What? How could you be?" Kaisa took a dangerous step back.
"Think about it. I know what you are like. I know what you want and only doing this could give you more than any other." He carefully trapped her against the wall explaining the things. The possibilities. She didn't know when he got so bold. She couldn't believe what he was offering. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
But before she could think of anything else he did something else that made her loose herself completely. It was if she was lost in another world. Everything including her very oneself's thoughts disappeared. She ignored her worries and they both embraced the other.
Kaisa even forgot what she originally was out there to do.
An alarming voice muttered "Mivozene......and A-atlantic?" And it wasn't until then that they realized the other presences again.
New AN//
Old me :
writing a chapter a week,
New me :
editing 5 chapters a day.
First completely only third POV chapter and I think it has gone well. At first I thought third POV was hard, but after some brief moments in other chapters and this chapter I think otherwise. It was exciting writing this chapter.
But with that being said:
I hope to at least write one chapter a week.
P.S. This week been tough one...
