In which Seivon's sister recalls what happened for their deaths to of happened and gets into an argument about his parents' death and inheritance with Seivon causing him to live forever alone while his sister...But eventually makes up but ends up leaving with relatives instead of being together.  

Must be read after chapter 41 and chapter 42

Mother and Father were dead.  There is no more denying the truth.  There is no more pretending.  I have to face the facts.  But it was no mistake how they died.  It was from those wretched creatures of the deep.  It was all those obscure things of the sea that killed them and everyone, but Seivon and his two friends. 

I am just thankfully he is okay.  But that means I have to help him go in the right direction of things.  And since mother and father never said anything to him yet, I must in their steed.  I can't believe this.  How could this happen?  And I remembered how I begged and begged to go along... 

If I did go I surely end up the same way as dear mother and father.  I thought I worked hard to achieve it, helping my parents with the conducting research and helping them when they caught those sea monsters.

I remember the day they caught them.  It was around nine of those things.  Mother and father got tons of neck and equipment.  I helped them with the tools. 

We made this device that detects those half fin monsters and would locate them.  First we used that, and then we got spears that would pierce their bodies.  We threw nets all over them and captured them.

We got all of them obediently with them realizing they should not struggle from us.  All of them, except one.  He was a bit smaller than the others, but more aggressive and strong.  He kept biting the ropes and everything.  And his teeth were sharp as knives piercing anything that got in its way.  I think if these monsters has sexes, it would be a he anyways.

  He crackled his flipper hands tugging at the rope, but we finally got him with the fifth time.  He became unconscious.  But that is when we decided to use and study him which would be the worse mistake ever.  His stupid blue navy hair and dark piercing eyes that stared at me whenever I would feed him.  I studied him and tried to get him to talk, but he do the opposite of what we want.  He was a pain.

But one day, when we realized the others are no use since we got him.  We killed them off and tried their meat.  It was surprisingly good.  But one of us foolishly, forgot about him.  He got out and somehow got rooms away.  He...he smashed some of our precious equipment in anger of their deaths. 

I could say he quite scared and traumatized.  But wouldn't he be use to that?  After all his kind does the same thing.  Besides they are just sea creatures.  They can't feel anything.

He crashed himself and a tray to sea, but I wasn't going to let him get away.  Not on my watch.  I dived deep down.  Some of the other researchers were with me, including my parents.  But when I saw him he was clinging onto two other monsters like him.  Too similar look in fact. 

It was then I realized they must been family.  I didn't know those monsters had families too.  I saw them barely moving their mouths, but strange sounds and words flew across the waters.  But I had to cut their heart-to-heart to a short.  He must come with me.  We shot the other two.  They did while holding him.

  I thought it make it easier to catch him, but it became harder.  He suddenly gained some massive speed and sped away.  I tried chasing after him, I did.  We all did, but it no use.  And what we got in return were those bodies.  So we took them and studied them in return...

And now he got revenged on us.  I just know, he killed a whole fleet of us.  Both boats sunk.  But I wonder how Seivon survived.  Ashton and Melody said that apparently they saw him miss the boat and went under. 

But when they got to shore, they later found him sitting on the sand quite dazed.  The only thing they mentioned was that he was saved by somebody.

Seivon is upset, I know.  And he refuses to talk to me.  He doesn't want anything to do with me, and there no fact changing how I look identical to Mother.  Everyone knows it.  And he can't seem to face me. 

Seivon's appearance on the other hand, doesn't look like one of them.  Just a bit of both of our parents.  And I also need to find a way to get their inheritance things, but our parents didn't think they would of died, yet.  And so they never choose one.  It probably be me, I mean, they told me everything and the secrets. 

I will follow in their footsteps, but I have a feeling Seivon won't.  He was different.  Liked the sea, like different things like animals and respects that everything has a life.  But that not true, only people are important. 

That is where he is flawed, and I am afraid if he gets the inheritance, he will spend useless time, energy, and money on that.  That is why I am finally going to talk to him.

"Seivon?"  I whisper, putting on a polite smile.  "Seivon....Brother?  Hey, I wanted to talk." I say at his door.  "You don't have to come out.  We can just...speak like this, but you gotta respond." I knocked on the door.

"I'm here..." He finally responded, "What is it?  Did they come?"  They?  Who is they?

"Umm who?  Ashton and Melody?  They are still in Wellington."

"Oh yeah...How could I forget.  You came to get me and now we are in the town of Britain.  Away from them.  Away from the beach I came on.  Now she might of come, but I can't get there." Is it Melody? 

I think she liked my brother, it was kinda obvious.  But sometimes not.  She did a good job of hiding it.

"Seivon, I have school.  You know this.  Thankfully, being sixteen I am allowed to care for you.  You are just getting a break because of what happens.  And how will I be able to help you if your far away."

"Tia, I can just stay at Wellington.  Come on!  It not like we haven't been there before.  We used to go to New Zealand all the time.  We have things there.  Mel and Ash are staying there.  If you so worried, than I stay with them." I didn't answer at first.  He went to school there last year.  Both of his friends did too. 

Then we all went back to here and finished school off.  Now he wants to go back.  Something about seeing someone on a beach?  Huh?

"Who is this someone you want to see on a beach?"

"Oh...Umm I owe her.  She said she come back."

"Don't be ridiculous.  She can't possibly.  She doesn't know you.  How can she find you?  And at beach?  There like several thousand beaches and hundreds of people go there every single day. 

And how will you know what time and when to go?  What place will you meet this person at?  I know she saved you, but...it kinda impossible unless you made better plans." Seivon was silent.  And his silent told me something.  He was upset and mad at me.

"You don't know anything!  I will see her!  I will!  Just you wait..I don't need you.  I don't need you to help me. I just stay with my friends and wait!  Beside I have something of hers!  I stay at Wellington and you can keep your ugly face here!  Your being stupid!  How could you be like this?"

If I didn't know any better I say, my brother has a crush on this saver of his.  But it not like I'm trying to be negative or mean.  I am just being reasonable.

"Seivon!" I yelled as I watched him slam his door open and run out.  "Seivon..Where are you going?"

"Where do you think, Celestia?" He was always an annoying little brother.  And I thought he was getting better, but now he just being selfish.

"Fine take it all!  Take all of the bloody stuff of our parents , so you can leave!  I don't need you here!" Woah did I just say that?

"Fine!  I will."

"Good!  And stay in that house in NZ forever then!"

"I will!  And I don't need you.  I can do whatever I WANT!  Besides with my surname, everyone would love to!  I don't need you.  I just need Mel, Ash, and her!" He crossed his arms and shut the door, carrying several of his things.

It was an hour later when I realized how stupid we were.  I hope he still around, I am going to apologize.  I wasn't too late.  But when we made up, he still left and I still stayed.  But I was going to visit. 

And I'd make sure to find every creature in the sea and expose them to the world.  I show how cruel and terrible they are, so my parents' death won't be for nothing.  I'll continue to expand.  I will create things just like them.  And my first project with be devices to find out information about the sea and record.

It won't be a failure...Not now, not ever.
I am positive, but little did I know that sending him away just condoning the action of making him not follow in our parents' footsteps.
