Bonus chapter/scene #1.... In which Seivon tells and shows his thoughts of before he got saved by Miracine and after he sees her tail when she leaves.  I also added some conversations.  This bonus scene can be viewed if you have not yet read all of it, yet....

The night was filled with a bright moon as a ship passes by filled with researchers and the three who would end up surviving. "Mel!" A twelve almost thirteen, Seivon yelled.  "Come back here.  You can't get lost.  I know I invited both you and Ash.  But if you get lost not only would Ash kill me, but your Mum, and my parents."

"That's what I hate about this... You en' Ash can do whateva' yall want and if I do one thing you get mad.  And that only time yall pay attention ta' me.  Especial'y you.  You don't care bout' me.  I want you too care."

"Oh Mel, that cuz' we can take care of ourselves.  But if something happens to you, you don't no howta' act.  And Melohdy... We do care.  Especial'y Ashton.  You should of seen him whenever you hurt or can't find ya.  He cares so much.  'Ike dis' much!" Seivon spreaded his hands out wide.

"Your exaggeratin' Seivon... Cours' I care fer Mel, but yer arms exadigerate...or Exajeradate?  Exaggerhate?  No... Exaggerate!" Ashton smiled showing a toothy grin.

They all smiled and Seivon wondered why his parents haven't called him back yet.  "Let's go to the deck!  I heard it's pretty there and you know what full moons mean?"

"It is bright?"

"No, stupid!" Melody hit Seivon's head.  "Something good is going to happen."

"Eh I don't know Mel..." Ashton looked out at the night sky.  "It looks lil' creepy like something bad happen.  Mystery too."

"Ominous?"

"What dat'?"

"A word kinda creepy and mysterious mixed together."

"That would be mystereepy." Seivon announces proudly.

"No..Noooo!   That be a ship name." Melody argues.

"Like this ship?  I love ship names!" Ashton exclaims.

"I think Mel reads too much romance.  And how she till' singal I don't know." Ashton hits Seivon's arm after his remark making him mutter in pain.

"Hey...Do you hear that?" Ashton looks around as a singing voice comes on the intercom.

"Ahhh.....aohhh....ahhhh!
Like an angel falling from a star
Singing lullabies from the afar

Sing with me now
And stay forever in your vow

Hush yet and close eyes
Sink deeper until all dies
Hoping woman in the sea, they oh lies

Oh shells of mercy
Terrible tales indeed
Drown in currents of swirly
An ocean's tears of human's greed

Waves go overboard
Innocent shall flee
Pierce your life like a sword

Hush my dear
Drown in your fears
Until death
Should take your final dangerous breath"

Then all of the sudden mighty waves attacked the ship they were on.  They all stepped away from the dock.  "Oh no...What's happening?!" Melody cried out.

"It be alright...There surely be-" Ashton comfort her as Seivon starred into space as his body disobeyed him and became still after hearing those words.

"We sinking!  No!  I don't wanna die, no death.  I saw moon, but why is it up if it bad things that happen?" Tears poured out her eyes.

"Lifeboats!  Look we're saved.  We need to jump!"

"My parents..." Seivon said in a daze.

"Seivon!  Come on we got to jump!" Melody lead both of the boys to the ship's edge."

"One...Two...Three." Then Ashton and Melody jumped.  The waves crashed into the ship again causing parts of it to wear away.  Seivon just stood blankly and in fear.  He couldn't move.  It was like he was under some kind of trance.  He was almost speechless.  Ashton and Melody jumped into a lifeboat.

"SEIVON!" Melody screamed.  "Hurry! Please....Please jump.  If you do I listen to you from now on...I don't care just come on..." Then he jumped but drastically missed the lifeboat.  "SEIIIIIIVOOOOON!" She screamed louder.

"Seivon!  Melody wait here I'm going to-" Ashton jumped into the sea, but by that time it was already useless.  He was too deep for him to see and didn't know where he was.  He swam useless around trying to find him.  "Seivon...." He whispered as he came up to air.

"Did you find him?  I didn't see him come up.  I see no one but us out here...What we do?"

"He alright he have to be.  I keep looking don't worry that way you be happy and-"

"This isn't about that at all...It cuz he my friend too...  Ashton... No!  Don't!" Ashton swam farther and deeper down trying to find him occasionally coming up for air.

I felt numb and cold as I sunk down.  How could I missed it?  I couldn't move.  My body refused to let me move my arms to swim.  I was numb and I was sinking down.  My body twisted in a way so I would miss the lifeboat.  How did I?  Was it a curse?  Mother always spoke of curses of the sea.  I was cold, weak, and could not move.  Melody and Ashton's screams filled the air.  I only felt and saw darkness. That all it was. 

A dark void of abyss was surrounding me as I kept sinking farther and farther down. I could not scream, I just felt a cold pain as I sunk.  It surrounded me endlessly taking away and making joy and hope leaving me completely. I am being filled with absolute sorrow and despair. I feel emptiness and longing.  Dread and heartbreak fills entirely.  Am I dreaming?  What if this all a dream and I back at our cabins sleeping with Mel and Ash.  Yeah that's it.  And now the only thing left to do is close my eyes and...

Then a voice reaches out and whispers to me. That voice I do not recognize.  It sounds young and similar age as mine.  Maybe this is reality and I am about to die.  No!...I don't want to die.  I am still young.  Why did I come and decide to be here?  I did nothing wrong.  Please someone help me, save me...I don't care.  Please I can't die now. 

Fear filled me and just before I sink even deeper into the pitiless doom of death and arm reaches out and lightness appears before me.  Was this my judgement of where to go in the afterlife?  And then I felt myself being lifted.

I opened my eyes and I was laying on the sand.  I got up and wondered what I was doing here.  Last I remember...Oh no Melody and Ashton? 

"I am safe?  I remember sinking and...Ashton?  Melody?"  Where are they?  Where am I? 
And all those people?  I am alive?  Who is...
"How did I get here?" Just then I saw a girl in the water sink down until only her face popped up.  Wow... I thought.  She saved me?  

"Hey..Um..." Get ahold of yourself. I thought.  "Do you know where I am?"  She shook her head.  "Ohh...That's alright." Hey if we both haven't go a clue then maybe together we can look and ask.  "Don't worry.  I am a friend." I reassured her, but wondered what she was doing over there in the water.

"Somewhere... in the ....pacific." She spoke softly.  She was a foreigner, she had an incredible sweet accent.  Just then I noticed her look on the sand and my was there a glowing necklace.

"I'm Seivon." I smiled picking up the pendant.  "Is this yours?  It pretty, y'know." She smiled again and nodded.

"You okay?  You almost perish in ocean." I widened my eyes.  She did save me.  Wow..I never was really interested in anyone, but for some reason I am with her.  And I don't even know her.

"Yeah I am...I think...Did you brought....Me here?" I was probably blushing with what I just thought of.

"Ye...ah..."  She whispered.  Just then I saw something the water near her.  A sea snake?  Oh no what if gets her and she doesn't realize it.  I go over to her to help and give her necklace back, but then she called out to me.  "Wait!  Don't come!" She looked fearful.  Why?

"D-don't you want your pendant?" I muttered the first excuse I thought of.  I suddenly heard others and she seemed to get nervous and ducked her head lower.

"Look!" She pointed to something, but I wasn't sure what.  I looked around me, but I heard voice but no people.  When I looked back she was gone.  I blinked but I heard her voice. 
"Remember me and keep it until I return." She was going to return?  But I couldn't wait any longer.

"Wait...don't go." I called out stepping into water.  "Please?  We can both go and find help on where we are.  Me and you, wouldn't that be great?" I saw her head popped up with her eyes widening again.  What did I say something offensive?  Usually I don't...I mean sometimes to Tia, but that's cause she my sis and it's my job to annoy her.

"Umm....My name is M-" And then she was interrupted by a girl's voice.

"Sei!" Melody?  "Sei...Oh where are you...Please may a miracle brought you to shore..." I am alright.  That means they can help this girl too.  I feel like something is wrong.

"Your friends.  You need to go." She shook her head.

"But wait I they they can....." Then my voice faded with what I saw.  The girl.  The violet girl jumped in the water, but right where her legs should of been was a great tail of a fish...or dolphin.  Her arms and clotheless back had scales, at the same time turquoise splashed in my face revealing a magenta fin. 

Wow... Mother was right about the sea, but this was not a curse.  Mermaids are real.  I saw her arise again from afar to go behind a rock.  I turned face to face to see Melody and Ashton.

"Seivon!" Melody was crying full down tears.  "I...I...You okay...I...I thought...You dead....And...a miracle....happened."

"Melody give him a break, it my turn." Ashton punched my lightly.  "If you ever do that to us again...I swear.  Oh Melody was worried something had happened to you.  I did too, but I am glad you are here."

"Yeah...?" I wasn't following what they were saying.  I was just thinking of her.  She was still there.  I wanted to go to her and... "I'm...fine?" Then I will show her my world.  And she saved me.  There no one else I ever wanted to be with and that coming from when there been a couple who threw themselves at me. 

I always politely rejected them, but her if she did I would never reject her. I never was one who thought of girls to the point that would make me go crazy, but just she was so...I sighed.

"Hey Seivon?" Melody waved her hands in front of my face, but I didn't notice and instead I looked passed it.  "Are you okay?  You seem quite out of it."  The words out of it registered and then I blinked oh.  Oh yeah.

"Melody...Ashton you are not going to believe what just happened." Should I tell them?  I know I can trust them.

"Oh try me." Ashton spoke up.

"I was saved by a....." Then I saw fear on her face behind the rock.  I could not do that to her.  She was scared of my reaction.  "....girl." I brushed my hands through my hair as I thought of her.

"What?  A girl you say?" Melody raised her voice with her eyes widening.

"Yeah..."

"Well I am grateful to her for saving you, but...  I just can't wait till summer is almost over.  Then the weather be nicer and we get to school and yeah." She went on hanging the subject.

"Melody.." Ashton whispered.

"Do you like her or something?" Like her... She saved me and I want to go over there and hug her and show her around.

"Yeah...I think I do.  But none of you would understand.."  They would never with who she is.

"Wait Seivon!  I-

"Seivon, I understand and so does Mel."

"What are you doing?" Mel asked as I took out my phone.  "Calling my parents...They still have not answered!"

"Umm...Seivon?  We were the only ones that escaped from our ship and I don't know if yours are fine."  Just like that a sword sliced the air.  No....

"...W....h...aat...?"
