The emperor of Graham allowed us to go home on the following day, but only Ethan and I since the trial wasn't over yet and Wendy and Arianna had to stay until the trial of who will be the rightful heir was over.

I said goodbye to Hendrix as I watch the empire getting smaller and smaller. Haruka was staying with Victoria and thankfully, the emperor was okay with it. I sat inside my cabin, not wanting to go outside as the sun was too hot.

Ethan was somewhere else on ship, while I was staying inside the cabin alone. Come to think of it, Calliope didn't even say goodbye to us once, is she home by now?

There was no one to talk to....I sighed and stare at the ceiling of the cabin. The door of my cabin was being knocked on, I replied to the person from the outside.

"Princess, are you hungry...? I will ask the chef to make you something..."One of guard on the ship politely ask.

"No, I'm fine and how is Ethan?"

"His highness is currently doing some works, would you like me to tell him that your highness wanted to spend some times with him?'' The guard smiles softly but I shook my head, blushing slightly at his statement.

"I'm good...you don't have to tell him anything."

"Alright, have a great day, your highness." The guard closed the door behind. leaving me all alone inside the room.

I stood up from my bed and grab some books from my luggage. All of these books were given to me by Hendrix since he noticed I like to read romance genre.

There weren't any disturbance around and I was able to read in peace. Some books were sad and some were hilarious.

"Haha...she tripped over nothing and accidentally grabs his ball...? Haha." I snickered silently and continue to read and laugh at the same time.

By the time I finished that book, it's already evening. I gently close the book and put the books I have read back inside my luggage. While I was looking for more book, the sinister magic caught my attention.

I dropped all books that I was going to read on the wooden floor.

Is there an intruder...?

I mentally asked myself and make note to be more cautious. I'm confident in myself that I was able to look after my own self. The magic grew even more sinister as I began to feel more uneasy.

Staying inside this room alone wasn't a  good option, I don't want to attract any more trouble for myself. I made up my mind and quickly run to Ethan's cabin.

I didn't even knock the door, and quickly close it behind me. But I was slammed to the door with two hands placing against me, prevented me to escape.

"Are you the one who create that aura-? Stella?" Ethan releases me and make a panic face as he realized he slammed me to door strongly.

"Are you okay? I was too immersed in that magic aura to sense yours!"

"I'm fine..."

I hug him, trying to get more of his scent and his heat. I made the right choice, staying with Ethan make me feel more safe than alone.

Ethan wrapped me inside his arms even more tighter. We stayed like this for quiet sometimes until I was out of breath.

"Ethan...I can't breath..."

"I'm sorry!" Ethan quickly released me and pat my head.

"Why don't we tell everyone that we have an intruder here? They might get hurt!"

"I have tell someone to report this to everyone. Don't worry, even a non magician can sense that there is something on this ship with us." Ethan calmed me down.

I was a little relieved since I didn't want anyone to get hurt. There are high chances that they either go for Ethan or me.

Bad thing kept happening on me as I was confident that they might go after me.

"Ethan...are you free..?" I ask Ethan who is obviously have all his hands doing his works that he brought along with him.

"I'm free." He said with a serious straight face.

"You don't have to force yourself..."

"No, It's fine. I'm done with these anyway." Ethan arranged his paper and push them away.

"...."

I stayed silent but was okay with him.

"Let's play chess...we haven't play it in awhile now."

Ethan brought out the chess board and place on the table.

"Yeah, since the war announcement..."

I move the chess piece and had some small talk with him. The result was Ethan- 5 wins and Stella-3 wins.

"Stella...if one day you woke up and find that I'm just a dream, what will you do...?" Ethan asked, lowering his tone.

I chuckled and place my hands on his cheek and grin widely.

"If one day I woke up and everyone tell me that you're just my dream, I will prove them wrong and will flip this world to find you. Even if you don't know me, I will still be persistent and take you home."

Ethan stared at him with his eyes open widen and then smile.

"Isn't that a kidnapping action?"

We laughed for a moment until a loud explosion sound interrupted.

Ethan hugged me tight until someone came in and report.

"Your highness!! Someone set fire on princess's cabin!"

I covered my mouth with my hand. I was right...the intruder either came for me or Ethan. The explosion trap I set was pretty useful.
