Chapter 4

A while Later - Hannah's POV

I tap my fingers on the back of my hand, thinking. "Sheba, this doesn't seem right." I say to her as she sits under me, grooming.

Sheba purrs.

I look at her for a moment. "Yeah ok." I say to her.

I lay down on top of Sheba, ready for a nap and she gets up and starts walking as I lay on her back, thinking.

Sheba stops in an alley suddenly and growls.

I look up to see some Lee mafia members.

I get off Sheba and I stand up straight. "Sheba, go back to the league." I say quietly and Sheba looks up at me and nods and runs the other way, another way home.

I stare at the Lee Mafia in front of me, and a familiar face walks to the front.

I square my shoulders and I stare him in the eye.

His tall, lean build, his wide shoulders, his big hands, those grey eyes with just an outline of red, and that dark sea blue hair.

He's wearing a white shirt with a black over coat and black dress pants with black shoes. His bangs are gelled back along with the rest of that mess he calls hair and he has a gold chain around his neck.

I stare at him calmly. "Jeremiah Lee." I say as I stare at him.

"Hannah Lee. Former Goddaughter of the Lee Mafia, the girl who murdered my father." Jeremiah replies bitterly.

I stare at him as weight comes down on my shoulders. My glasses slide down my nose.

I hum. "I don't care." I say to him.

He tchs. "You don't care that I lost my father at the age of 5? Because you murdered him?" Jeremiah asks me.

I nod. "I don't care about any of that, at all." I say to him with narrowed eyes. "Your wasting my time and your hurting my shoulders." I say to him.

Jeremiah scowls at me. "You waste the air around you and you waste everyones time, murderer!" Jeremiah yells at me.

I roll my eyes. "Your no better than me if your still part of this Mafia, the body count for the Lee Mafia is 15 times that of my own body count, and everyone in that Mafia is to blame." I say to him.

I keep my shoulders square.

Sheba, I hope your bringing me reinforcements, I'm going to need help.

I hum quietly. "Yeah, you shouldn't call me by my name anymore, to you and everyone else in this damned world, I'm the Queen of Hearts." I say to Jeremiah calmly.

Jeremiah pulls a gun out from behind his back and I stare at it, keeping myself calm. "I would still have a dad if it weren't for you!" Jeremiah yells at me.

I stare down the barrel of the gun and I look back up at Jeremiah.

"Surrender and die." Jeremiah says shakily.

Blue fire races past me and hits everyone in front of me.

I look at the fire, a little surprised. "Dabi?" I ask and he walks up next to me with a smirk.

"Sheba was pushing me out the door, panicked, Shigaraki wasn't around." Dabi says to me.

My cat purrs behind me.

"I won't be going down that easy!" Jeremiah yells as he gets back up.

I pull out my gun and I hold it up, pointing it at him lazily. "Die." I say and I shoot him and he goes down.

"Who was that anyways?" Dabi asks me.

I stare at Jeremiah for a moment. "His father was my father's best friend, the guy I killed during training when he walked in front of a knife that I had already thrown." I say and Dabi looks at me surprised.

I put my gun into its holster and Sheba rubs up against my legs.

I kneel in front of Sheba to make sure she's ok and she is. "Good girl." I say as I pet her head and she sits down and licks my face. "I thought I told you to stop that after I found out what Kurogi feeds you." I say to Sheba and she just purrs.

I shake my head and I get up.

"What are we supposed to do with them?" Dabi asks as he looks at the group of burned victims and Jeremiah.

"Leave them, I'll tell Kurogi and he'll get someone to clean up." I say to him as I turn around and I start walking. "Or the police will find them, either one is fine." I continue and Sheba walks next to me.

"You're cold." Dabi says as he follows me.

I hum. "I know." I say and we go back to the bar where Kurogi is keeping an eye on my father and some Lee's.

I pull my gun out again and I hold it to my Father's head.

"Hannah Lee." Kurogi says to me.

I scowl at my father. "You will disband this Mafia or you will die." I say to my Father in a low tone.

Father glares at me in the corner of his eye. "I have a successor so it does not matter if I die here or of old age." Father says to me.

"If it was Jeremiah then he's already dead." I hiss out and his eyes widen. "So it was, well you wasted your time training him, he took his own team to eradicate me." I say in a low tone. "And he failed." I hiss and Sheba growls next to me.

Father shakes and he falls to his knees. "I, can't believe this." He says shocked and my gun trails him as I stare down at him coldly.

"The Lee Mafia does not care for their own blood and bonds, I almost guarantee that if Mia kills your younger brother, you'd hunt her down too." I say to my Father in a cold tone.

"Hannah, don't," Mother tries.

I scoff. "He treated you horribly when I was little Mother, and your defending him?" I ask her.

Father stares at the ground as he grabs something from in his coat.

"Is she mad? I think she's mad. I can't tell if she's mad or not." Twice says as he hides behind the counter.

"You have a lot to learn about Hannah Lee." Kurogi says to him.

Father pulls a knife and cuts my arm, giving him enough time to get away from me.

"Well its a good thing that I'm ambidextrous." I say as I hold my gun in my other hand.

"Hannah." Boss says from the computer.

"Good evening Boss." I say without taking my eyes off of my Father.

"You take orders from that lunatic!" Father yells at me.

I scoff. "I don't see you being Father of the year either." I reply. "I joined him for Sheba's sake, I left you for my own." I say to Father as I glare him in the eye and he glares back.

"You have broken your composure Hannah." Boss says to me.

"I know." I say to him.

Mia walks in sleepily. "W-What's going on?" She asks worried and scared.

I keep my eyes away from her and I think about what to say to explain this.

I end up just putting my gun away and Father puts his knife away. "You don't need to worry Mia. Nothing is going on." I say as I give Father one more silent glare. "Sheba." I say and she follows me up to my room where I clean this deep cut and I clean up the blood and I stitch it up. "Sheba, go get my phone." I say to her and she goes and brings me my phone and I check the new messages.

Just normal things, people wanting me to kill other people, and undercover jobs.

I turn my phone off and I cut the string and I put a bandage over the now stitched up cut.

I change my white dress shirt and I put my vest back on.

I roll my sleeves up and I take my coat down to Kurogi who takes a careful look at what needs to be done to fix it.

"It'll be in your closet in a few days Hannah Lee." Kurogi says to me.

"Thank you Kurogi." I say to him and I get a glass of water. "The bodies are two allyways down the right of the building." I say to Kurogi after a moment.

"I'll get someone to clean up then, dinner is at 7, be down here by 6:30 to wash up." Kurogi says to me and I nod.

I hum as I stare at my water for a moment. "Will do." I say and I finish my water. "What do you need for dinner then? I'll go pick it up along with a few other things." I ask Kurogi.

He writes down what he needs as I leave my weapons where Kurogi can see them. Kurogi hands me the list and I hum.

I leave the building quietly and I notice Father and Mia are following me.

I ignore them as I pull my hair down and I leave it down.

I go to the nearby store and I pick up the food that Kurogi needs, but I get stuck with the spices.

"Ma'am, do you need help?" A worker asks me.

I shake my head. "I'm fine." I say and he nods and leaves me be.

I read the spices and I find the ones that Kurogi needed and I put them in the basket I'm holding.

I look for what I need now.

I find the shampoo and conditioner and I search for the kind I use.

I find it after looking for like ten minutes and then I move on to find the rest of my hair products and a new eye shadow pallet.

I find everything I need and then I pay and leave.

I head home again and I put the stuff away as Kurogi starts to cook.

I head up to my room where I put my stuff away.

I then lay on my bed next to Sheba.

I put my head on her shoulder as she purrs and I set my alarm and I take a nap.

I wake up to Sheba growling and I feel danger.

I look up at Sheba, suddenly worried and her teeth are barred, but the worst part, is that, she's looking at me like she's going to kill me.

I get off my bed and I stare at Sheba, scared as she jumps off my bed and follows me as I back up towards the door.

"Sheba? Girl? What's wrong?" I ask her.

She growls at me and I search her, scared.

I see something shot into her flank.

I look back at Sheba in the eyes. "Sheba?" I ask her and she jumps at me, I move out of her way and I get out of my room and I race downstairs, Sheba right behind me.

"What's wrong?" Kurogi asks since I never run through the bar house.

I grab the tranq next to the door and I aim it for Sheba who looks blood thirsty. "Just need to knock you out for a bit girl, you've gone nuts." I say quietly and I aim the tranq for her shoulder and I shoot it, hitting exactly where I wanted it too.

It takes a moment but Sheba falls unconscious and I catch her.

I pull out the two needles.

"What was that about?" Kurogi asks concerned.

I leave Sheba on my lap as I study the needle that turned her blood thirsty.

I shake my head. "I was sleeping, but I woke up to her about to kill me, because of this." I say as I hold out the needle and Kurogi takes it and studies it while I look at my big cat, worried.

My mind races as I think about the possibilities of what could have caused this.

I notice Sheba's breath getting shallow. "Kurogi, what was in that?" I ask as I look up at him.

Kurogi walks over and sees her breath getting shallow. "Hannah Lee, her wilderness senses were woken up completely, she might not remember you when she wakes up and goes feral again." Kurogi says to me.

I stare at Sheba, worried and the need to cry is suffocating me, but I don't cry.

I stay with Sheba down here and she's mostly on my lap as Kurogi gets that needle tested.

I run a hand through my hair, my worry increasing every minute.

Hours later after everyone else had dinner, but I'm stubborn and didn't eat, but instead stayed with Sheba.

I run my fingers through her fur carefully and it takes a few more hours but Kurogi gets the results and I read through them and everything on this list indicates that Sheba has been turned wild.

"Hannah Lee, you may have to release Sheba into the wild where she came from." Kurogi says after a moment.

I look at Sheba as she wakes up and she heaves herself up and looks around, her pupils are thin slits.

Sheba turns to look at me as I sit here, just staring at her.
