Levi's POV

As I was sitting in front of the long table beside the chair of Ali, she started to ask the suggestions of other members about the plan for the mission.

I raised my hand. "I have a suggestion."

She turned her eyes on me. "What is it, Levi?" 

"What if we use fake drugs and sell it to him with the exact amount we want to get," I suggested. 

"That's possible. Any other suggestions?" She asked.

"I agree with Levi's suggestion, Ms. Ali," Tania said.

"Alright! Raised the hands of those who agreed with him," Ali commanded. 

They all raised their hands and agreed. I did not expect it! Ali turned her eyes again on me while she's still standing beside my place.

"As you can see, they all agreed with you. So, tell us the whole plan for this mission, Mr. Levi," she demanded, raising her eyebrow. 

My eyes widened. "WHAT?!"

"Tell us what we need to do."

I scratched my head. This lady never failed to challenge me ever since I became his Vigilante partner.

I stood up and walked on the other side of her place. I put my hands in my pocket and faced them as if I had a great idea. 

I formed a smile. "This is the plan. First, we need to contact the target and tell him that we're gonna have a transaction with him tomorrow evening…"

"Tania, the man beside you would contact Mr. De Leon, now!" Ali interrupted.

"Next, the fake drugs. We need to make at least three boxes of fake drugs until tomorrow afternoon. Then, I and Ali would be meeting up the target and we're gonna wait until he signs the money check. After that, someone would accompany us in delivering the fake drugs," I further explained.

"What are we gonna do then?" One of the members asked.

"Stand by. If something might happen, you need to be alert so we can finish this mission successfully."

"What if he finds out that the drugs are fake?" Ali suddenly asked. 

"Don't worry, Ali. We will show him a few imported drugs so that he would not doubt."

Her expression changed quickly. Her eyes were looking at me terrifyingly. Sh*t. What did I say?

"Where the hell can we get imported drugs?! Don't tell me, you're a drug user?!" She exclaimed.

"NO! Oh c'mon! Ali, we have connections right?" I scratched my head and she simply rolled her eyes. 

"Fine! That's it?" I nodded then she faced the members and asked, "Are we all clear with that, Vigilantes?!"

"Yes, Ms. Ali." We all answered in chorus.

"Okay. The meeting adjourned. See you all tomorrow, Vigilantes!" 

They all packed up themselves and quickly left the room. I waited for Ali to finish all her works.

"Ali! Let's go?"

She nodded and we both walked out of the Vigilante Association building. Each member of the association had their own apartment. Those two-storey apartments were built on both sides of the Vigilante Association building. 

Ali and I had the same area of apartment. We always had a time together while we were walking on the street with the ample light coming from the postlight. 

"Levi, you told me before that you remembered your sister with me, right?" 

I stopped when she suddenly asked for it. 

"Yeah. Why?"

"Well, I want to know why you remembered your sister with me." She grinned. 

"There it is! The way you speak and grin makes me remember my sister with you." 

"Really?! May I know her name?" She pleasingly asked.

"I don't want to." I teasingly said. She stared at me with her terrifying look. I laughed. She's really short tempered. 

"Fine! Her name is A--" I stopped when her cellphone suddenly rang. 

She looked at me after she turned her eyes on her phone. "Excuse me." She made a distance when she answered the phone call. 

After a few minutes, she went back and forgot her question earlier.

"Levi, let's go! We still have to go back as early as possible tomorrow."

I smiled and nodded. After another minute of walking, we reached her apartment. 

"Thank you, Levi," she simply said. 

"Good Night, Ali." Then I waved my hands on her until the door of her apartment closed.

Ali became an important person in my life. Because of her, I learned to be fierceful. I learned to fight for other people. I sighed deeply as I entered my apartment. 

Because of Ali, I didn't feel lonely anymore. She's different. She's strong outside but vulnerable inside. I would always do my best for her ever since she accepted me as her friend.

I made footsteps to my bedroom and let my body rest after I jumped on my bed. We still had a long day tomorrow.

The next day, I woke up through the call coming from my phone. I lazily answered it.

"Hello?"

"Levi! Where are you?!"

I jumped on my bed when I heard Ali's voice. I checked the time on my phone. My eyes widened when I saw the time. Sh*t! It's already ten o'clock. 

"Levi!!"

"I'm on the way! I'm sorry hehe."

I ended the call already because for sure she would preached me with her words. I quickly took a bath and wore other clothes. 

After twenty minutes of preparation, I ran faster going to the Vigilante Association building. 

I was running out of breath when I reached the operation room. They were now packing the fake drugs that was made from the face powder.

"Where's Ali?" I asked. 

"In Boss Rom's office," Tania answered. 

I nodded and helped them with their work. After one hour, I went to the training ground to get a gun. When I was about to get out of the room, Ali suddenly showed up.

"They almost finished the packing of fake drugs. The imported drugs were also there. Let's meet him up and finish this quickly," she explained and walked out in front of me. 

She's too serious again. Work was always a work with her. Her devotion in the association made me inspired to be like her. 

I scratched my head and followed her. 

After we wore our protective gear and hid our guns in the hidden pocket, the van was ready to move for our mission.

"Are we all set?" Ali seriously asked and they all saluted her. 

"Yes, Ms. Ali."

Then she turned her eyes on me. "Are you ready?" 

I smiled. "Yes!" 

And one by one, we all got in the van. 

"Where's the meeting place?" I asked before I started to drive.

"Trinity Restaurant," Ali answered, then I drove faster as a racer. 

It was almost thirty minutes of ride from the Vigilante Association building to the Trinity Restaurant. After they checked if the target was already inside, I and Ali went out of the van. 

She tied up her long straight hair into a ponytail. I could not take my eyes away from her and my mouth slightly opened. I felt static at this moment. She's too gorgeous! 

"Levi! C'mon!" She called out and I quickly followed her. 

As we entered the restaurant, the target was sitting on a chair at the corner of the restaurant. We both walked towards him. 

"Mr. Jeffrey De Leon?" I formally asked. 

He looked up on us as we stood up in front of his place.

"Yes? I'm Mr. De Leon, are you the people that I am meeting up today?" 

We both nodded and showed him the message for the transaction. "I'm Levi and this is Ali," I introduced and made a handshake with him.

"Alright! C'mon. You may sit," he offered. I saw how Ali hid her grin after we sat down on the chair.

"Calm down, Ali," I whispered. She used to be like this as if she wanted to kill every target of our mission.

Unexpected foods came over on the table such as Melted Cheese Shrimp, Caramelize Steak Rolls, and Beef Curry. Three dishes for everyone. Now I know how wealthy this man in front of us. 

As he started eating the fancy foods in front of us, he could not stop talking about his so-called achievements in life and suddenly…

"By the way, how much do you offer?" He asked.

"Twenty million, almost fifty kilos of drugs, Mr. De Leon," Ali straightly answered.

He almost swallowed his food and his eyes widened in shock. I chuckled. 

"Are you serious?" He surely asked.

"Yes, Mr. De Leon," I answered, looking him directly in the eyes.

He used paper tissue and wiped his dirt on his face. "Alright!" Then he opened his bag and held the money check and a ballpen on his hand. 

That's it! He started to write the bank name, the amount, and the recipient of the money check. After that he looked at both of us and turned his eyes again on the paper. He finally signed the money check. Damn! We're almost done!

Few minutes later, he already gave the money check to us. The smooth and fine paper was already on our hands. 

"Follow me at the back of this restaurant," he commanded and went out of the restaurant after he paid the bill of the foods.

Ali used her wristwatch to alert the members and told them to bring the drugs at the back of the restaurant. When we finally got there, two persons brought the three boxes of fake drugs. 

"Show it to us. I want to know if it is real," Mr. De Leon seriously said. 

I opened the box that had the imported drugs and showed it to him.

"These are imported, Mr. De Leon," I said as I convinced him.

"Great! Thank you so much!" Then he ordered his bodyguards to get all the boxes and put it to his car. 

After he hopped in on his car, we quickly turned our back and walked away from them.

"YES! MISSION SUCCESS!" I happily screamed while holding the money check. I looked at Ali and I could see the fulfillment on her face. She finally smiled.

"We did it, Partner!" And I unconsciously hugged her. After a few seconds, I let go of her and her eyes widened in shock.

"I'm sorry," I sincerely said while scratching my head. 

"Let's go back to the office," she simply said and walked faster.

When we were about to reach the van, it suddenly rained a bunch of bullets coming from us. It was from the car of Mr. De Leon.  Sh*t! How did they know that fast?!

"LEVI!" Ali screamed as she pushed me away until our body rolled up on the ground. The other members quickly made their gunshots until the car went away.

"Are you okay?!" She worriedly asked while we were still on the ground. I nodded then she quickly stood up and helped me to stand. That was fast!

Tania helped us to go back in the van. When we entered inside the van, my eyes widened after I saw blood flowing on Ali's arm.

"SH*T!"
