Allison's POV

The sun was still not visible when I woke up and prepared for today. I've already taken a bath and wore high waist jeans, a navy blue polo shirt which was the uniform of the association, and of course, the combat shoes.

I inserted my gun on the side of my combat shoes and put other stuffs in my bag then I went out of our house. It's around six o'clock in the morning when I reached the Vigilante Association Office. 

It's a two-storey building. The first floor was composed of a technical room and operation room while the second floor was a training ground for the members.

I went to Boss Rom's mini office.

"Good Morning, Allison!" He greeted me.

"There was no good in the morning, Boss. Where is the new member?"

"Oh! Your new Vigilante Partner was waiting in the training ground, Allison."

"Great! A lady or a man?" I asked.

"A man," he answered. 

I grinned. "I'll let him savour the taste of the first evaluation."

I quickly shut the door of the office and went upstairs with a gun in my hand.

Training ground was a spacious area wherein there were dart boards and human-metal boards placed in both sides and corners of the room. The firearms were also placed in the huge wooden cabinet at the back of the room.

I harshly opened the door and made the first gunshot after I saw a man wearing a black jeans and jacket. One dartboard was turned down. I grinned when I saw his eyes widened.

I slowly walked towards him while pointing the gun directly on his body. He moved backward and also pointed out a gun on me that he got from his pocket.

"Who are you!?" He exclaimed while his dark brown eyes looked at me. 

"First and foremost, learn how the hell moves and attack fastly!" I made a gunshot on his right side again. He was trembling in fear.

"Second, fear is not acceptable here. So be brave and be strong." Another shot to his left side. He avoided it as he ran towards my back.

I turned around. "Lastly, learn how to fight back with the villain or else you will die!" 

Then I made a spike with the gun in his hand until it throwed on the floor. With the surprise on his face, he quickly attacked me as he wanted to get the gun on my hand.

I also threw it away and forcefully kicked him on his chest. I saw a smirk on his face after he fell down on the floor.

"C'mon! Is that what you can do? Give you your best shot, Dude!" 

He slowly stood up then ran towards my place. He attacked me with his punches. A fast and consecutive punches thrown over me and all I could do was abstain. 

When I got a chance to block him, I made a hard punch on his face and kicked him again until his body was thrown on the floor again. 

Woooh! He's great. I walked towards him and offered my hand.

"Allison Cruz, one of the Vigilante Leaders in this association," I simply said.

He accepted my hand and helped him to stand up. A handshake was made with the both of us.

"I'm Levi. Levi Prescott. So, you are the one that I am working with," he said while looking me directly in the eyes.

I grinned. "You're still not sure about that, Mr. Prescott. Now, follow me in the technological room." 

I quickly walked out of the training ground and let him follow me.

As I entered the technological room, there were members who were busy doing their job.

"All of you! Go to the training ground. Now! I need to assess someone here," I ordered. 

They rushed theirselves going out of the room. As Levi entered the room, amusement showed on his face when he saw the computer desks placed on all sides of the room and the huge screen in the center.

"This is cool!"

"Well, this is the room where we can gather information for our target person," I explained.

After he looked around, he faced me with a smile on his face. "So, what are we going to do then?"

"For your information, Mr. Pres--"

"Just call me Levi."

"Fine! As you've noticed, you already passed the first evaluation."

I slowly walked in front of him. "The next thing we are going to do is to explain all the information you need to know and to answer your further questions, got it, Levi?"

He nodded as he placed his hands on his pocket. 

"Alright. Let's start with the association first."

I turned on the huge screen using the remote control on my hand. "Vigilante Association. What do you know about this?"

He formed a smile on his face again. "Based on my research before I applied here, you are the group of people who made law enforcement without the concern of the government. Giving justice is your main goal," he proudly answered.

"Great!" I simply said. 

He raised his eyebrow. "Well, you still don't me, Ms. Allison."

"Then let's know each other as Vigilante Partner, Mr. Levi." And I turned my eyes on the screen. He chuckled.

I continued to discuss everything about the association.

"Aside from the main goal of our association, all the members are separated into two teams. These are the Operation Team and Information Team..." I stopped when I noticed that he was only staring at me.

I still continued, "Operation Team are those who risk their lives for the mission while Information Team are those who give their time and effort to get information about illegal transactions of wealthy people."

I turned my eyes again on him. The hell on this man!

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND, MR. LEVI?!" I exclaimed. I'm getting a high blood pressure with this man.

"Yes, Ms. Allison," he simply said and smiled teasingly.

I rolled my eyes. "If you are not interested in this association, the door is open for you to go out."

"Sorry. I just felt that I'm also interested in you."

"Then you're not feeling well, Mr. Levi," I frankly said. He simply shook his head with a smile on his face.

"Let's proceed. 'We fight for justice' is the motto of this association because we seriously fight for justice. The question is…" 

I made an eye to eye contact with him. "Are you willing to risk your life for this association, Mr. Levi?"

"Why not? Risking your life is a sign of patriotism with your country."

"Great! " 

"I have a question." He walked beside my place. 

"What the hell is it?"

"Are you willing to risk your life for me?" Then he winked. I raised my eyebrow.

"Kidding! Btw, when will I start to be your partner? I mean… as a Vigilante Partner." He chuckled.

"Can you please stop fooling around?! You're so irritating!" I could not take this anymore!

I harshly walked out and shut the door. The hell! I don't know why Boss Rom chose him to be my new partner!

"Hey! Allison!" He called. I walked faster going outside the building but after a few seconds, I felt his hand on my shoulder. 

"Let me go!"

"Hey! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to irritate you. I just remembered my sister from you."

I froze when I heard what he said. I turned back on him.

"You have a sister?" Then he nodded. I sighed, maybe it was only a coincidence.

"Don't worry. I'll be serious and focus from now on. Sorry."

"It's alright. Maybe we can talk some other time but for now, go to Boss Rom's office and talk to him."

"What is he going to tell me, Allison?"

Sh*t! I did not notice the presence of Boss Rom.

I salute to him likewise what Levi did.

"The final decision about his employment, Boss." Then I looked down.

He neglected what I've said. "By the way, how's the assessment with him, Ali?"

"It's good. He has great physical skills and he's willing to commit himself to the association but…" I stopped. I looked at him. I wanted to know who you are, Levi. 

"But?" He questioned.

I turned my eyes again to Boss Rom. "But he needs to learn how to maintain focus in the job."

"That's alright! So, what's your decision about him?" Boss Rom asked.

I glanced in my peripheral vision that he was staring at me again, waiting for my answer.

I grinned. "Well… he still needs to pass the one month training as final evaluation before he becomes an official member."

Boss Rom faced him. "You heard her, right? Work hard for her decision. I'll warn you, don't ever irritate her or else you will never get this job anymore." 

Laughs uttered in the area until he went back to his office. Levi looked down with the embarrassment on his face. I simply shook my head and chuckled.

"Sorry," he said again.

"It's alright. You can go now."

I was about to go back to the training ground but he stopped me. 

"Can I call you Ali?"

I stared at him in his eyes. "Sure! Everybody here calls me 'Ali' or 'Ms. Ali'."

"Nice! Thank you, Ali. Bye!" Then he quickly went out of the building wearing a smile on his face. 

I called someone from the training ground using my wristwatch.

Few seconds later, Tania, one of my trusted members, went down.

"Why did you call, Miss Ali?"

"I want you to check and give me the family background profile of Mr. Levi Prescott."

"Copy, Miss Ali." Then she quickly made footsteps to the technological room.
