Allison's POV

It has been more than a month since Madi came back in my life. She also became an official member of the association. In our everyday training, I always reminded her to be a better Vigilante.

"What was that, Madi?" I began while we were still inside the tech-room.

She was crossing her arms below her chest. "Why are you preaching me? Preach those members who do not know how to follow."

I grinned. "Madi. You are my sister. I do not want anyone to think something bad about you."

"I was only ordering them, Ali," she defended.

I closed my palm and took a deep breath. "You don't need to order them because they will never follow you."

"Why?! Because I'm not their boss?"

"No. Because you are one of them." I sat down on the swivel chair in the center and crossed my legs. 

"And you should be the one who needs to follow?"

"We are all equal here, Madi. No one should be on top. If you want to be on top, then work hard for it."

She only rolled her eyes on me. "Whatever!"

"Madi! I'm telling you! Don't ever do it again. We're here to give justice not to fight with one another. Do you understand?"

She shrugged her shoulders and brushed her hair using the right hand. "Fine!"

I grinned. She's really my sister. Her hard-headedness was the same as mine. Well, twins were surely common in other ways around.

After the day I preached to her, I always observed her actions until she became an official member in our association.

It's been more than two weeks since we were preparing for the next big mission to the illegal gambling session.

We were here in the meeting area. Planning for our next step before we operated the mission.

Levi was the one who was handling this with the supervision of Boss Rom. I was only on his side to help and support him. Just like right now, I was sitting on the chair beside his place.

"Something is wrong," he announced while tapping the pen on the table.

"What do you mean?" I asked in return.

The big screen in the center was flashing information and some photos about our plan.

"During our surveillance in the area, these past few days the gumbling area in the Over Heiress Company was having a high security service…"

"...Bouncers were scattered all over the building. They also had a sudden change from their technological security," Levi explained.

"So you mean… there is a possibility that they know our plan?" I questioned.

"Mr. Collins is the most influential businessmen in Italy, Miss Ali. He has many connections," Tania added.

"But, there is also a chance that we are being sabotaged with someone," Levi said meaningfully while he was looking at the members one by one.

"You mean someone in here is not a loyal member in this association?" Madi asked. She was sitting beside the chair of Tania.

In the middle of our meeting, a sound of gunshots occupied the whole association building. It was made consecutively.

"The hell!" I hissed.

"Prepare your guns, now!" I ordered while we all stood up with the widened eyes on our faces.

"Tania! Check all the CCTVs." I added.

I quickly ran out from the room and went outside of the building with the gun on my hand. Levi was on my back with the members as we looked around outside the building.

"Check all the apartments now!"

"Miss Ali," someone called.

I turned my back and my eyes widened with the open mouth on my face. One of the members was standing at the back of the van. The gunshots were evident on the glass window of the van and the wheels were flattened due to the gunshots.

"Someone is attacking us, Ali!" Levi hissed.

I brushed my hair in frustration and held my gun tightly. "Not just one, Levi. They are more than one."

I gritted my teeth and took a deep breath. 

"Check all your apartments now, Vigilantes!" I turned my eyes to Levi, "Check the training area."

"What about me?!" Madi demanded while the fear was evident on her face. 

"Go with Levi," I instructed.

I quickly walked back to the tech-room and let them do what I ordered. The hell! This was getting worse! Whoever made this was really insane!

"Tania! What happened?" I uttered as I entered the tech-room. She was still reviewing the CCTVs.

"It was a clean attack, Miss Ali!" She exclaimed as she repeatedly played the CCTVs on the computer screen.

"There!" I pointed out when I glanced at a man on the screen.

"But it's a shadow, Miss Ali."

"I know!" I frustratedly throwed the gun on my computer desk and sat down on the chair. 

I placed my pointing finger on my lips and I tried to connect all the thoughts in my mind. I was figuring out who could be the person behind this shit.

Meanwhile, Levi came back to the tech-room. He sat down beside me and put back the gun in his pocket.

"Vigilantes are settled in the dining. The training ground was also clear," he assured.

"They planned it when Boss Rom was not around."

"I already told him," he added.

"I think it was a warning. They knew our association. They knew our plan."

"Let Boss Rom find out. We still need to accomplish our mission, Ali. We don't need to be affected with their actions," Levi advised.

I grinned. "You're right. If I would know who the person behind it is, I let him or her savour the taste of justice."

We remained silent for a moment. I could not help myself not to think. The association was being involved. 

"Where's Maddison?" I suddenly asked because Levi was not with her when he came back.

The door from the tech-room opened and it showed the figure of my sister. She seemed shocked as she saw the both of us.

After how many hours, Boss Rom came back. He called us in his office to talk about the accident earlier.

"No one was injured?" He asked as Levi and I sat down.

"Yes, Boss. All Vigilantes are safe," Levi answered.

"I've discovered something today. Mr. Arman Manabat and Mr. Bernando Collins are connected with each other."  He opened a folder on his desk and showed us some photos that were printed.

"Who is Mr. Arman Manabat?" I questioned. The name was familiar. I knew that I've heard it before but I was not sure about it.

"The one who accused you and put you in jail," he assured.

Widened eyes showed on my face. I clenched my jaw and closed my palm.

"The hell with them! How do they become connected?!"

"They are business partners, Ali. But…"

I punched the table with annoyance on my face. They were ruining my life! The hell with those fvcking business men who had illegal transactions! 

"...But there is someone who is manipulating them. Someone who is capable of making things manipulated."

"Who?" Levi and I both asked. I hardly brushed my hair in frustration and made curses in my mind.

"We still can't figure it out. For now, we need to finalize the day of the mission before they make a next move," Boss Rom instructed.

"Another planning for tomorrow," Levi commented.

Boss Rom and I nodded. Few minutes later, my phone rang in the middle of our conversation. I excused myself and went out of the office.

"Hello?" I asked as I answered the phone call.

Silence uttered between the phone calls. 

"Hello?"

"Ali!" Harley called.

"Why did you take so long to respond?"

"I'm sorry. I thought you did not answer the call yet. By the way, how are you?"

I sighed. "I'm good as hell. How's the house? What about Mom and Dad?"

"Well, that's why I called you because something is weird outside the house. There is a white car parked a few meters away from the house."

"The hell! Tighten your security, Harley. Please don't let anything happen with Mom and Dad, okay?"

"Yes, My Ali. Don't worry. I could handle this."

I bit the lower part of my lips and grinned. "Also please take care of yourself."

I heard him smirk on the other line. "Are you worried about me, My Ali?"

"Oh c'mon, Harley! If something happens to you, there's no one who can guard my poster parents. Don't assume that much!"

"You seemed defensive, Darling," he teased. I also heard a chuckle from him.

Smile formed on my lips until I realized that I was chuckling with him. My thoughts and emotions suddenly lighten up with him. 

I sighed between our conversation. "Alright. I'll end this call, Harley."

"Sure. Take care, My Ali," he sweetly said. 

I did not respond to what he said but I just ended the call and put the phone back in my pocket.

Before I went back to Boss Rom's office, I decided to tie my hair into a ponytail. I also walked to the dining area to get some water. I opened the fridge and held the pitcher in my hand.

When I was pouring water in the glass, I overheard a conversation at the side of the bathroom that was meters away from the table.

"I know. I will continue the plan."

Familiar voice came into my mind. I continued to listen with the voice.

"She would meet her downfall soon." The voice laughed terrifyingly to itself.

I slowly walked from the table up to the side of the bathroom. The voice continued to laugh until I was near to the person behind the voice.

"She wants justice but I more than want justice for myself."

I closed my palm and with all my strength I showed up myself. 

Widened eyes showed on my face when I realized who was the person behind. I was trembling as I closed my palm again and gritted my teeth. The hell!

"Maddison?!"
