Allison's POV

Inside the rusty metal cell of the prison and the darkness covering the whole place every night, I survived to live in three days without someone that I could talk to.

I survived to live in hell after Harley left and already went out of the jail.

Now, I woke up early because I prepared my things and other stuff. I already took a bath and ready myself to face the outside world again.

Today was the day that I would be going out to this prison hell.

The police officer unlocked the prison cell after a few minutes. "You can now go, Miss."

I nodded then I held my duffel bag. I walked out of the prison cell and went to the information desk where Boss Rom and Levi were already waiting.

When I reached the information desk, Levi quickly ran towards me and suddenly hugged me. Widened eyes showed on my face. This man missed me so much. After a few seconds when he realized what he did, he let go from the hug.

He scratched his head and looked away. "I just missed you." He smiled a bit.

I chuckled. "I also missed my Vigilante partner."

Boss Rom interrupted us. "Allison, everything was already settled. Let's go?" He also turned his eyes on Levi.

"Sure. I know everyone was waiting for me in the Vigilante Association building."

Meanwhile, the three of us went out of the police station. The car of Boss Rom was the vehicle that we used and Levi was the one who drove it.

Time passed by and we already reached the association's building. Unexpectedly, the Vigilantes team surprised me with the banners on their hands after we entered the entrance of the building.

"Welcome back, Miss Ali," they happily cheered in unison.

I smiled on them. "Thank you so much, Vigilantes."

"We've prepared food inside, let's go!" Tania invited. We all went into the dining area for the simple celebration they made.

While they were all having fun, I looked around on them. Nothing changed. They were still the team and the family I had before.

I sat beside the seat of Levi. He was spacing out and looked like he was deeply thinking about something.

"Hey! Are you okay, Levi?" I called out his attention. He snapped then he turned his eyes on me.

"Yeah. I'm alright. How about you, Ali?" He asked in return.

I also turned my eyes on him. "Well, good as hell."

He chuckled and asked again. "What's your plan now?"

I grinned. "I'm gonna find the person behind this. That person was gonna pay for what happened."

Suddenly, Boss Rom entered the dining area. He looked at me. "Allison, someone is waiting for you in my office."

I raised my eyebrows. "Who?"

He turned his eyes on Levi then came back on me.

"Just come in my office now," he ordered then he walked out. I quickly followed Boss Rom then I also heard the footsteps from Levi.

As I entered Boss Rom's office, I saw a woman sitting in front of the table. She quickly stood up and hugged me tightly. Widened eyes showed on my face then she let go and looked at me in the eyes.

She had the same physical feature on me. The eyes, nose and lips were exactly the same as mine. Our heights were almost the same. Our bodies were also matched.

She suddenly had a teary eyes and smiled at me. "Allison, my twin sister. I finally found you," she emotionally said.

"Who are you?!" Levi asked in anger when he entered the office.

"Oh my god! Are you also working here, Levi? Don't you remember me?" She responded in question. I raised my eyebrow and Levi looked away from us.

"Did you know each other?" I asked in confusion.

The lady turned her eyes on me again. "Well, yes but it doesn't matter. What matters is the both of us. Right, Allison?"

I could still not believe that she's now in front of me. Honestly, I could not even remember her. Even our memories from our childhood were not flashing in my mind.

I smiled a bit. "Sorry to say this but what is your name? I really don't know who you are," I honestly answered. She sat down on the chair and I also did the same while Levi was still on my side.

"I'm Maddison Cruz, your twin sister. Don't you remember?" Then I shook my head. Whenever I tried to remember her, my head was hurting.

"Nevermind. The important thing is I already met you again. By the way, can I also work here?" She asked confidently. I did not answer her question but I asked her the important question I wanted to know.

"Where's our parents? Are you with them? I want to see them."

She looked away in my eyes. I could see the sorrow on her face.

"I thought you were the one who's living with them. I had no idea where they were," she responded.

I deeply sighed. The hope in my heart suddenly crashed when I heard her answer. The hell!

"Are you really sure that the both of you are twins?" Levi suddenly asked then he turned his eyes on me. "Why not try to take a DNA test, Ali?" He looked at Maddison again with the question on his face.

"Well, if you are questioning our identity then let's do the DNA test," Maddison said in determination.

"That's right. Okay, let's do it tomorrow, Maddison," I replied besides I wanted to know the truth about us. I wanted to make sure that she's not fake.

"Just call me Madi, Sis." I nodded on her.

Meanwhile, Boss Rom also entered his office. "So, what's the matter here?"

"Boss, I would like to have a DNA test with Maddison tomorrow," I answered. I knew it was the best thing to do before I settled with her.

"Sure, I'll call a doctor for the DNA testing. Let's just do it here in the association."

"Thanks, Boss. One more thing is she wants to work here," I added. I didn't know if I could work with this lady but I would try my best.

"So, what's your decision?" He asked and I shrugged my shoulder. The hell! It's still my decision to allow her!?

I sighed and glanced at her. "Alright, let's do the first evaluation after the DNA testing."

A wide smile formed on her face. "OMG! Thank you so much, Sis." Then I also smiled a bit.

After that, we all went out of the office.

"Ali, I'll go ahead," Levi said then I only nodded on him.

"Bye, Levi! See you again tomorrow," Madi said then winked at him. He didn't mind what Madi did and he eventually left us.

Now, I and Madi remained silent. Honestly, I didn't know what to say. I didn't know how to treat her because I really could not remember our memories together.

"Hm... Ali, I think I should also go ahead too. I think you still need to do something," she uttered.

I looked at her and grinned. "Are you sure? By the way, where do you live now?"

"I was renting an apartment near the city," she answered.

I simply smiled. "Alright, take care, Madi."

I was not ready to know her. My mind was still processing what was happening in my life. I waved my hand as she also waved her hand and said goodbye.

I turned my back on her then suddenly my phone rang. I checked it and I found out that it was my mom who's calling.

"Hello, Mom?"

"Allison! Hello! How are you?"

"I'm good, Mom." I grinned. If you only knew what happened to me.

"Great! By the way, you need to come home, Ali." I raised my eyebrow in confusion. As far as I remembered, this was the first time that she asked me to come home.

"Why? Did something happen?"

"You haven't seen it yet? We need to talk about the recognition from your law school! And it's your Dad's birthday, right?"

I nodded in my place. I never forgot it.

"A recognition from my school, Mom?" I asked again on the other line to make sure that I heard the right term.

"Yah, Darling. Your school sent an email on us."

I sighed.

"Alright. I'll go home tomorrow." I heard the scream on the other line. She was singing in joy.

"Alright, Mom. I'll end this call, bye." I pressed the end button and put the phone back in my pocket.

I deeply sighed again. It's been more than a month since the last time I went home. Maybe this would be the right time to relax and spend time with them.

I grinned. I wished I had a chance to tell them about Madi or about my prison experience because I didn't want to hide anything from them. They deserved to know everything even if I didn't deserve it.

I shook my head and walked towards my apartment.

You just needed a rest, Allison. Remember? You are a Vigilante. Giving up was not in your vocabulary.
