The day of Halloween of 1964 came, and the six teenagers, Shelley, Casper, Belinda, Mason, Ilene and Nate stood in front of the gates of the Victorian House.

"Are you ... are you still sure Casper that you want to this?" Belinda asked as she chattered between her teeth.

"Yes, I'm sure Bell. I think everybody should hold hands once we enter that door though, because we don't want to lose sight of each other."

"Well, I for one am not going in there! It's just a bunch of hocus-pocus to scare us," Mason tried to assure himself.

"Suit yourself Mason, but if you are 'chickening' on us now, I'm sure you are all alone in this one! Right guys?" Casper asked as he turned around.

Everyone agreed with him, and soon Mason looked up to the sky while a scowl on his face.

As the five started moving toward the rusty doors, Mason saw a figure looking straight at him at the upstairs window, which gave him the creeps.

"Hey guys, wait up I'm coming with you!"

"Glad, you changed your mind Mason. For a minute there, I thought you were not man enough to help us out," stated Casper.

So the six teenagers went up to the front door, and were quite surprised that it was very easy to get in once they turned the knob, as if someone was expecting them. As Casper ordered the group to do, the other five held on to each other.

But since Mason was the last person in the line, he didn't notice that someone else was following him. He obviously didn't pay attention to what he was doing.

"Um... guys whose holding my hand?

"I am Mason. Why?" Shelley asked.

"Because if you are there, then who's holding my other ... Aaagh!"

Just then the antique Grandfather clock struck twelve, and a shriek of horror was heard all throughout the house.

In the end, no one ever heard from those six teenagers again. Was Casper's story true or was it false? That my friend's is a question you have to answer on your own! *Laughs insistently*

Didn't mean to scare any of my readers here... *Laughs*... but I used to tell stories around a campfire to make things interesting back then. And well I thought maybe I could just bring that back if I still have it. I switch genres all the time, since I almost scared myself with this one!
