"Finally, it's done," I said after reviewing the last file and keeping it away, not having an assistant sucks but thanks to the board of council I was able to have a temporary assistant.

It has been weeks since my last encounter, with Kexing and Zhishu and till now there has been no contact from then the DNA report will also take a few more days.

My life seemed to have just stopped at a place, it wasn't going anywhere, I feel so suffocated by living a life like this, a messed up mind, missing memory, and fucked up live life everything is a mess.

I nodded, recently eating and sleeping have become a very difficult task for me, and socializing with others was an even tougher task, but for my work's sake, I have to meet the other people and establish connections.

So at once I got up from my place put over my coat and went out.

Once we arrived at the meeting we met with the man named Mr. Zhang, he had come to the meeting with his daughter.

I mentally cried tears of blood but still maintained a professional smile on my face.

"Welcome Mr. Zhan I have heard a lot about you," Mr. Zhang said as we sat down,"Meet her this is my daughter Andrea."

"Hello Mr. Xiao," she said with a sweet honey-laced voice, her voice was sweet enough to give me diabetes.

"Hello Ms. Zhang, I have heard a lot about you, but now seeing you in person I must say that the rumors were not false."

She blushed and smiled at me while her father seemed happy as well, words of flattery work wonders.

Our dinner went very smoothly we covered all the important topics.

"How have you been Mr. Xiao?" He asked,  "I heard about your parents and I felt sorry for you...we wanted to meet you but it seemed that you just disappeared."

I smiled, "Thanks for the concern, Mr. Zhang, I was too sad that I decided to take a break it won't be good to work when I was so unstable, but now I am back"

"It must have been hard for you to handle everything alone right?" Mrs. Zhang said.

I didn't reply to her I just smiled, how can I tell her that I was never alone, I was with someone I loved very much someone with whom I wanted to stay forever, Someone who made me feel like he was my family.

Someone I wished to see again.

 With a bang, I kept the fork I was holding on the table startling the other two.

"Mr. Xiao, Are you okay." Mr. Zhang asked, I drank some water.

"I am sorry, I am okay."

"You must be tired, Mr. Xiao"  Andrea said.

"Yeah, you are right I am a little tired sorry for the inconvenience"

"It's alright," The two of them said.

Our dinner continued but I didn't want to eat anymore it was becoming tough and tough, why would I want to see the murderer?

All of this mess started because of him.

It all started because I allowed him to start this mess so in the end that fault is mine.

Suddenly Mr. Zhang's phone rang, "I have to go Mr. Xiao."

I smiled, "No problem Mr. Zhang I will drop Miss Andrea home."

He smiled gratefully at me, "I would be very grateful for that."

"You can leave and rest assured."

Once he was gone I offered my hand to Andrea as well which she took readily.

"You looked tense Mr. Xiao," She said as we sat in the car.

"Oh, it was all because I am a little tired that's it."

"Are you sure? I thought that you were too tense because my father bought me with him"

She is really frank and good at reading others, "Well I will say that I was a little surprised that's it."

She smiled, "Then you must know why he had bought me?"

I clutched the steering wheel harder, "Look Miss Andrea I..."

"I know you are going to reject me, honestly I knew it since the moment I saw you because you didn't even spare me a glance unless you were told to so it was obvious."

"Thank god," I said 

"But," she said and placed her hand on my thighs, "A causal hook up is okay right?"

It was none other than Yibo.

My blood ran cold when I saw him and his smile which was not really a smile.

"Long time no see Zhan," he said with a smile, "Can I have a talk with you?"

He said and then looked at me in the eye, it was a threat, I got down from the car, "I'll be back in a minute "I said to Andrea.

Once I was out he said, "What makes you think that you are going back in the car."

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Oh my are you pissed because I interrupted your session ?" he said 

"And what if I am?"

He came forwards, "Then let me keep it up for you Zhan, but what about you? you have made me pissed a lot today how are you going to make up for that?"

"Just ignore and go away" 

"Hahaha" He chuckled,"Oh poor Zhan, you still don't understand do you? I wanted you to understand on you won that you are mine but it looks like I have to personally teach you" he said and suddenly the aura around him changed I felt shivers run down my spine as I saw his expression change.his smile vanished and his eyes slightly turned blue.

His eyes didn't look mesmerizing instead they looked monstrous.

"Tell her to take your car and go back to her home"

"What? but..." before I could complete my sentence I saw Yibo's blue chains surrounding the car, "Do it or else I will kill her."

I was scared for Andrea' safety now so without wasting much time I told her, "Listen, Andrea, take my car and go back home, I will see you later, but right now I have some work"

She looked surprised, "But Zha..."

"Andrea just go and don't waste time I am leaving as well"

She was a little hesitant at first but in the end, she left, Is aw her leave till the car disappeared from my sight.

I suddenly felt two arms around my waist and a voice in my ears," Now then, you shall come with me "

It was not a request or a question, it was a command.

I suddenly felt pain in my neck and my vision went blurry before my body fell forwards only to be catched by someone
