13. Incarcerated

"It is not just a cave,

The soul's have been engraved,
The beads of sand are threaded into year,
People's hearts are beating with the fun of fear."

Far away in the desert, the sand even in the desert feared to be beneath under the that man's feet. His sin, screamed from every corner. Sins dirty sins, which dirty's the blood and left a black, deep mark tainting on heart.

Baraq, every living being was feared by him. Even his lovers who wants to be always in his arms, but was too conscious about their self respect, hence left him always alone wandering. But, their hearts always wished for his once glance. He was a sinner, and even sin feared to be done by him. Inside him was left nothing but a heart all black and tainted with sins.

"Sinner", "corrupt", "bad man", "casanova", people called him names. But, he wasn't the to care about it.

Golden eagle eyes assessing the way around him as he walked himself back to him village. His lips twitching upwards seeing people shutting doors seeing him walking in the alley. He didn't miss the longing look from the young who wished for his glance, but he never even cared about anything or anyone.

Dried blood still tainting his calloused hands as he binds them behind his walk and walked as if he owned the land. He was nothing, not a king, not a ruler, not a warrior but people feared because he was a beast.

His face and forehead covered with keffiyeh made people curious around him, always but no one had th guts to ask him. Anything.

"Fear Allah and His punishments." The old man appeared out of no where and blinked his eyes with no reaction morphing on his face rather he stared him as if he was talking nonsense.

The old man held his wrist and shook it infront of him and hissed,-

"Murdering some innocent with cruelty and evilness will lead you no where." Eyes wide with anger and displeasure.

A husky chuckle resonated around them as he slowly loses his wrist out the old man's hold.

"People, people. Blind in praying."

"You saw this. My blood tainted hand." Tilting his head, eyes darkening and hardening and carefree features vanishing, he continued.

"But, you couldn't see this wound. This stung of that venomous snake. People people. So blind in praying." Mocking he walked of with steps as predator trying to hunt his preys.

The old man stood stunned on his place, stopping he glanced at the man with his peripheral vision and said,-

"Go save her she is behind the Jinn's cave."

Eyes flew wide with horror of the old man as he listened to his voice. Words echoed in his mind and he stumbled on his feets.

"Baraq. Baraq. My child, save us. Save us all. Save your people." The old man begged him as he feared to go near the cave. No one will go near that as it has Jinn been incarcerated in the cave from the past hundred and twenty five. But, what they didn't know that is the Jinn has already been released.

A crooked smiled appeared on his face as he stared down at the man. His built body towering over the old man.

"Now, why don't pray to your Lord to help you." The octave of his words grew deeper as he asked the man, leaning near his face. Eyes darkening and hardening. Menacing making its place in his eyes.

The man felt on his knees joining his hands. Creased formed on his face as he saw man begging and crying for the village's future.

"You don't beg the villain to amend the things. Villains tends to have audacity to destroy the things furthers more." He hissed trying to make him understand. And walked away from him leaving him begging for the help.

"For the sake of your died parents. Save us. Atleast that girl there."

Closing his eyes tightly he vanished from there infront of that man's eyes and now he knew everything will fall back on its place; he hoped for better.

His heart pounded as her her tear filled eyes flashed infront of his. Hissing he rubbed his temple hard.

"Why am I helping her?" Not knowing how to question this answer he closed the door of his feelings and moved ahead, near the cave.

The cave stared back at it him. Sinister air surrounded him as he saw the cave's mouth open which was closed with medium sized rocks back than. Gritting his jaw hard, he stepped ahead inside the cave.

The midnight stars stared and applauded him for his bravery. And that sandy ground beneath his footsteps complained to the ground about his sins.

He walked like a predator with quiet steps. The flicking flames of the fire in the ancient lanterns reflected in his liquid sandy eyes. Making them look like as if he has fire inside burning him. His steps fell hushed against the windy night. Far in the desert prayed the old man on his prayer mat. Begging for his healthy arrival. His feet walked as the lanterns guided him. Several statues stared at him with their finest works. So fine so ever.

His peripheral vision saw statues on the banks of the pathway. Binding his hands behind his back he assessed the way with his eagle eyes and walked deeper in the cave.

Huge lantern casted a huge shadow of his on the giant statues. It was bigger than every other and stood with different reaction. But, Baraq wasn't the one to give them attention. His hand drew near to her sleeping form near the feet of the huge statue.

"Dragging her out of the cave will be quiet dreadfull and cruel." Murmuring under his breath he stepped near and called her,-

"Hey, fanus."

Crouching, he raised his hands he neared her to shake her and his eyes moved to her veiled face. Closing his eyes he jerk back his head and stood up. Nearing the lantern, he took it out from it's hold and throws it on the ground. The hiss of fire extinguished and the glass shattered into shredded pieces. The sound of shattering broke her up and startled her.

Terrified she looked around herself and him towering over her lain form.

Gulping, she moved back with and tried to ask the buzzing question in her mind.

But, he beat her and said before her,-

"The baba has asked me to take you there. This is not safe place." Gruffly, he stated and moved aside for her to stand up and walk ahead of him.

She hesitated but, she has no one here she knew. He brought her here, so she has to trust him to go back her land safely.
