Yet there are some who challenge and rise with reach

To grasp what others would not beseech.

Monsters of darkness, we write of fright.

Our lights thrown away, we are called The Veiled Night.

We call you forth today in hopes of persuading you to join the dark side (joking . . . maybe)

The Veiled Night is a campaign dedicated towards supporting authors with dark writing styles. Our goal is to find, help, and connect dark writers together so that we may join together as one large family and face all odds as one. It doesn't matter which genre you write in, we welcome all dark writers with open arms!

What does it mean to be a dark writer? Being a dark writer means your style of writing leans towards a direction most would be too hesitant to go down. It's like being offered two roads--the first is light with unicorns prancing around and the other road is dark and eerie with too many hidden depths to decipher. Most would pick the first road, but you and your writing style would go prancing down the latter, as if it were filled with rainbows and gummy bears instead of shrill screams and crimson blood.

Some might think we have no mentality due to the things we choose, but who cares? Our styles of writing are unique songs our locked away hearts are free to sing. So join us, and receive the support of fellow insane authors as we band together to create this group!

With our fellow gummy-bear-prancing friends, we invite you to join us in our festivities! This account will host many festivities, some of them being interviews, graphic contests, hidden gem shoutouts, help and advice books, and more!
