Earth is in ruins. Humanity is barley holding on by a thread. The supernatural world is in shambles. Nearly all the factions have gone extinct. No matter where you go, chaos and destruction is all you will find along with countless deaths. All that's left is one giant graveyard across the realms.

No one's POV

The sky has been tainted red like blood. Smoke fills the sky, making it difficult for normal humans to breath. In the city of Kuoh-well, what's left that is- countless buildings are in ruins. In the once well populated areas, giant unknown things cover the building.

Destroyed cars were either flipped over or completely destroyed all over the streets. Blood, both old and fresh, covers most of the ground. Not only that, but countless bodies slowly roam the streets. At first glance, you would think they were normal humans, but with a closer look, you are wrong. Most of the bodies were covered in blood, their bodies were shaped in horrific manners. They are no longer normal people, these are now the walking dead. Horrific screams and shrieks could be heard from countless miles as most of the infected were starving for new flesh to consume.

Somewhere near the center of the city, something crashes through several buildings. A red blur soars in the air at an incredible sped as it tries to catch up with the thrown object. The object crashes through a store on ground level, causing the building to crumble on it as dust explodes everywhere. The red blur slows down and hovers in the air several feet above the building.

Upon closer look, the red blur was some kind of red armor. It had wings similar to a dragon's on its back with several green glowing orbs around its body.

"This is all your fault, bastard!" The voice, belonging to a young man, shouts in rage within the armor to the object that crashed into the store below.

The dust slowly clears up and a silhouette of a person slowly steps out of the destroyed store. The person had an arm holding on their shoulder as they stumble out of the dust. They cough before falling on the ground on all four, revealing a man. The man looks young, probably in his late teens or early twenties. He had black messy hair and orange eyes. He wore a black jacket over a dark blue shirt. His pants were somewhat torn as his shoes were covered in blood.

The man breaths heavily, trying to catch his breath, while looking up at the person in armor. "I already told you, dumbass, this wasn't my doing!" The man shouts in both anger and annoyance. "I'm not your enemy! Why won't you listen to me for-?!"

"Shut it, y/n! I won't listen to your bullshit!" The boy in the armor shouts while clenching his palms into fists.

"Hear him out, Issie." A deep voice coming from the boy's left hand spoke. "He may be telling the-."

"You bought his lies too, Ddraig?! The boy, Issei, shouts at his hand.

"Not fully, but something tells me he's not entirely lying."

"...." Issei stares at his palm for a moment, thinking. But he discards his thoughts as he turns his head back to y/n while growling. "Whatever. I'm not buying it."

"..." Y/n grits his jaw as he slowly got back on his feet, but fails and was on his knees. "Dumbass..." He mutters.

"What was that?!" Issei shouts. "Say that to my-!"

Issei's body glows a bright green. Y/n covers his eyes with his arm to prevent going blind. He heard Issei yell before letting out an "oof!" and hits the ground. Y/n lowers his arms and saw Issei no longer in his armor, lying on the ground.

Issei looks to be a high school student of average height with short spiky brown hair, with two short locks of hair behind his head, and light brown eyes. He wore a school uniform, which consists of a black blazer, with white accents, over a white, long-sleeved dress shirt with black highlights with a black ribbon on the collar. He also wore a red T-shirt underneath his open dress shirt and blazer. He had matching black pants, and white sneakers.

Issei got back up on his feet while gritting his teeth. "Aw, come on! Seriously?!" He shouts to the back of his left hand.

"You should know by now that your body can't withstand the power of the Balance Breaker for too long." Ddraig states.

"But this isn't the time for it to run out, dude!" Issei whines. "We're standing in the middle of an-!"

"Are you done yet?" Issei heard y/n ask over his yelling. He turns his head back to the man as the latter slowly got back on his feet. "Because if you are, I need to find-."

"Hold on, dickhead!" Issei shouts. "Don't think you can escape from me that easily! I-!"

"?!" Y/n's eye's widen. He grits his jaw as his right arm was coated in red vein-like tendrils before transforming into something that resembles a whip,

Time seems to slow down for a moment. Y/n threw his arm at Issei's direction, causing the teen to panic. His left arm glows green before a red gauntlet was summoned on his arm with a green orb in the center of the back of his palm. He was about to attack, but stops when y/n's arm was shot over his shoulder. He turns his head to the direction the arm was going, and saw a giant disgusting monster leaping at him from behind.

His eyes widen in horror from seeing the creature so close to his face. The whip stabs into the monster's face as it stops in its tracks. It roars in pain as y/n was reeled to the monster. As he flew pass Issei, y/n's other arm was coated in the tendrils before turning into a blade.

Time slowly resumes to normal as y/n slices the monster with his blade. The roars stop as y/n flew pass the monster and lands behind it on one knee. Blood spews out of the monster and rains down on the ground as the monster was sliced in half. The two halves of the body fall on the ground as y/n stood up and his arms returned to normal. He turns to Issei and walks up to him with an irritated look.

"See? I'm NOT your enemy. I just saved your life." Y/n says as he was a step in front of the teen's face. "I'm not here to babysit you. I must stop-."

"So you took down one zombie-thing, big deal!" Issei says, causing a vein to pop in y/n's forehead. "I could of taken it down by myself!"

"?!" Y/n stares at the teen with anger. He shuts his jaw as he squeezes his fists. "Why you..."

Y/n was cut off by a sudden roar to the side. The two look at that direction and saw three big monsters jump down from a building and onto the ground.

They all roar as the two got into a fighting position. But before they could do anything, the ground underneath them shook. They look down and saw the ground was breaking.

"?!"

Acting quickly, the two jump away from their spot just in time. Something big broke through the ground and shrieks.

"Damnit..." Y/n mutters as he and Issei were surrounded and had their back touching each other. His arms transform yet again, but this time both of them turn into claws.

"Great...What else could go wrong?" Issei mumbles sarcastically.

"Don't-."

A roar louder than the other monster's was heard coming from behind a building at the other side of the area. The two look and felt the ground shake. A massive new creature walks out from behind the building and looks around, searching for something.

When it saw the two being surrounded by the other creatures, it roars into the air before charging at the two.

"You had to open your mouth, don't you?" Y/n says over his shoulder as the two were still surrounded.

"I didn't know!" Issei yells over his shoulder as well. "Can't you call these things off?!"

"Of course not, idiot! I don't control them!"

"But I thought that-!"

"I didn't make them! I've been telling you that this whole time! But all you've done is ignore me!"

The two continue to argue as the monsters got closer to them.

Meanwhile...

On one of the tallest buildings in the city, a man wearing a black jacket watches the world crumble beneath him. His upper face was blocked by his grey hood, but his mouth wasn't.
"Everything is going as planned..." He mutters before smirking. "Good."

He stays quiet for several minutes as he simply watches the world destroy itself. But his attention was interrupted by a strange noise coming from behind. "?" He looks over his shoulder and saw a person leap onto the roof a few feet behind him, surrounded by a smokey aura. "..." After studying the person, he couldn't help but let out a short chuckle. "So, you finally found me, huh? Took you long enough."

"..." The person doesn't say anything as they lift their arm out to the side to a vent.

The smoke from the vent was slowly being absorbed by the person as the man folds his arms in amusement. As they absorbed the smoke, the aura around them grows.

"Impressive..." The man says.

When they were done, the two got into a battle position. As they did, the man in black body suddenly changes as red glowing tendrils surrounds his body. His right arm changes into a blade as his body was covered in armor.

"But it won't be enough!"

The two charge at each other head on. But before the battle could unfold, everything goes black.
